Heaney exited Saturday's start against the Phillies with a trainer due to an unspecified injury, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Heaney completed six innings while allowing only one earned run on four hits and no walks before being pulled. The exact nature of the injury is unclear, but he threw an errant fastball to Nick Castellanos immediately before being pulled in the middle of the at-bat.

The Diamondbacks transferred Burnes (elbow) to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

The move allows the Diamondbacks to select Aramis Garcia's contract from Triple-A Reno. Burnes is set to undergo Tommy John surgery later this month, which will sideline him for the rest of the 2025 season and most, if not all, of 2026.

Dollander will start for Colorado against the Mets on Sunday.

The Rockies shifted their rotation around a bit, moving German Marquez to Saturday while tabbing Dollander to start Sunday. It's not clear when Carson Palmquist, who had originally been deemed Saturday's starter, will take his next turn, though Christian Saez of TheDNVR.com reports that the rookie isn't dealing with any sort of injury. Dollander last pitched Tuesday, so he'll be working on four days of rest Sunday.

Palmquist is no longer scheduled to start Saturday's game against the Mets, as German Marquez will instead receive the start for Colorado.

The Dodgers activated Kopech (shoulder) from the 60-day injured list Saturday.

Kopech missed the first two-plus months of the campaign after developing a shoulder impingement during spring training. The righty reliever began participating in minor-league rehab games in mid-May and posted an 8.53 ERA and 2.21 WHIP over 6.1 innings across nine appearances, though he gave up just one run in four frames over his final five rehab outings. Kopech could regain a high-leverage in the Dodgers' bullpen, though the team may elect to bring him along slowly considering the amount of time he missed. To make room on the 40-man roster for Kopech, Los Angeles designated fellow reliever Chris Stratton for assignment.

The Dodgers placed Gonsolin on the 15-day injured list Saturday due to right elbow discomfort, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Gonsolin last started Wednesday when he allowed three runs (two earned) over five innings in a loss to the Mets. The right-hander began the campaign on the IL due to a back injury, but this is the first word of Gonsolin dealing with an elbow issue. It's unclear how Los Angeles will immediately replace Gonsolin in the rotation, as the team activated a pair of relievers -- Michael Kopech (shoulder) and Kirby Yates (hamstring) -- from the IL on Saturday.

The Marlins recalled Gillispie from Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday.

Gillispie struggled with Miami earlier this season, posting an 8.65 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 23:11 K:BB over 26 innings while going 0-3 across six starts. He was sent to the minors in late April and has posted a 4.38 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 17:12 K:BB over 24.2 frames across six outings (five starts) with Jacksonville. Currently, the Marlins' starter for Sunday's matchup versus the Rays is listed as TBD, so Gillispie could take that turn in the rotation.

Verlander (pectoral) threw 35-to-40 pitches in a simulated game at Oracle Park on Friday and will be re-evaluated Saturday, MLB.com reports.

Verlander was placed on the 15-day injured list May 22 due to a right pec strain. The veteran right-hander tossed two simulated innings Friday, facing batters for the first time since suffering the injury. The Giants will evaluate how the 42-year-old responds Saturday before determining his next steps. Verlander has posted a 4.33 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 41:21 K:BB across 52 innings this season, going 0-3 across 10 starts.

Manaea (oblique) allowed four runs (three earned) on four hits while striking out two in 1.2 innings during his rehab start with High-A Brooklyn on Friday, John Sparaco of SI.com reports.

Manaea was cleared to embark on a rehab assignment after starting the season on the injured list due to a right oblique strain that he suffered in spring training. The 33-year-old southpaw ended up tossing 36 pitches in what was an underwhelming outing, but it's a step in the right direction as far as his rehab program goes. Manaea will need several rehab starts without setbacks before being cleared to return to the major-league roster.
