Buehler (elbow) was moved to the 60-day injured list Tuesday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The move comes as no surprise, as Buehler seems to be tracking toward a return in September at best as he works his way back from both a flexor strain and surgery to remove a bone spur in his right elbow. He isn't expected to pick up a baseball for at least another month. His spot on the 40-man roster will be filled by Trayce Thompson, whose contract was selected Tuesday.

The Pirates plan to call up Eickhoff from Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Eickhoff will join the Pirates after producing a 4.84 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 47 strikeouts over 48.1 innings while appearing in 13 games (six starts) for Indianapolis. He's expected to handle a hybrid role out of the Pirates' bullpen, but if he isn't needed in long relief during Tuesday's game against the Cubs, he could start Wednesday to fill the vacancy in the Pittsburgh rotation.

The Nationals optioned Adon to Triple-A Rochester on Saturday.

Adon was returned to the minors one day after he was summoned from Rochester to make a spot start during the Nationals' doubleheader Friday with the Phillies. Though he tied his season high with six strikeouts in the outing, he gave up four runs on seven hits and a walk and was dealt his league-high 11th loss. Adon will now make regular turns in the Triple-A rotation with the Nationals having settled on Paolo Espino and Jackson Tetreault as the back-end options in its rotation until at least one of Stephen Strasburg (ribs) or Anibal Sanchez (neck) returns from the injured list.

Fried did not factor in the decision against San Francisco on Monday despite allowing only one run on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over seven innings.

Fried was nearly untouchable in the outing, holding the Giants scoreless through seven innings. However, he allowed three straight batters to reach base in the eighth and was tagged with one earned run in the frame. Fried has yielded one or zero runs in four of his past five contests and has gone 3-0 over that stretch. He's 7-2 on the campaign with a 2.77 ERA, 1.05 WHIIP and 83:15 K:BB across 87.2 innings overall.

Webb completed seven innings against Atlanta on Monday, allowing one run on six hits and no walks while striking out seven. He did not factor in the decision.

Webb allowed a second-inning Travis d'Arnaud solo home run but did not surrender any additional runs for the remainder of his outing. He didn't get much run support, however, and was in line for the loss until the Giants scored their only run in the eighth frame. Webb finished with his second straight quality start and has posted a 16:3 K:BB while yielding only one run across 14 innings over that span. He has posted a 3.26 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 75:20 K:BB while recording a 6-2 record over 85.2 innings on the season.

Davies (2-4) allowed four runs on four hits and three walks with three strikeouts in six innings, taking the loss Monday versus the Padres.

Davies was spotted a one-run lead before he took the mound, but he gave it back on a Jake Cronenworth solo home run. The right-hander was also tagged for a two-run single by Ha-Seong Kim in the second and a solo shot from Trent Grisham in the fifth. Davies has alternated dominance with middling performances in his last five outings, going 0-2 in that span. He now has a 3.96 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 60:25 K:BB through 75 innings across 14 starts overall. He's projected for a home start versus the Tigers this weekend.

Darvish (7-3) allowed a run on four hits, two walks and two hit batters with five strikeouts in seven innings, earning the win Monday over the Diamondbacks.

Darvish has been locked in lately, winning three straight starts while allowing only two runs over his last 22 innings in that span. Strangely, he's plunked six batters in those games after hitting only two batters in his first 10 outings. The only run against him Monday was on a Christian Walker sacrifice fly in the first inning. Darvish now has a 3.17 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 66:17 K:BB across 82.1 innings overall. He'll look to remain dominant in his next start, tentatively set for this weekend at home versus the Phillies.

Burnes (5-4) earned the win Monday versus the Cardinals with seven shutout innings. He allowed two hits and two walks while striking out 10.

Burnes has put his struggles from early June behind him by recording a quality start in his last two outings. This was the fourth time this season he's kept runs off the board, and it was also the sixth time he's completed seven frames. The right-hander has added five double-digit strikeout games in what's been another excellent campaign. He owns a 2.31 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 110:19 K:BB across 85.2 innings overall. Burnes is projected for a home start versus the Blue Jays this weekend.

Mikolas (5-5) allowed two runs on four hits, two walks and a hit batter while striking out three in 6.1 innings, taking the loss Monday versus the Brewers.

Mikolas gave up the only runs of the game on a two-run home run by Tyrone Taylor in the fifth inning. This still counted as Mikolas' third straight quality start and his ninth such effort this season. The 33-year-old right-hander has a 2.64 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 69:18 K:BB across 88.2 innings in 14 starts. He's alternated wins and losses over his last five games. He's projected for a favorable home start versus the Cubs this weekend.

Brubaker (1-7) allowed five hits and three walks over six shutout innings Monday, striking out five and picking up a win over the Cubs.

The Cubs threatened to score on multiple occasions, including in the first inning when Rafael Ortega was thrown out at home to end the frame, but Brubaker held them off and secured his first win of the year. Over his last six starts, the 28-year-old has posted a 2.65 ERA with a 27:12 K:BB. He lowered his season ERA to 4.11 through 70 innings. Brubaker is projected to start in Tampa Bay this weekend.
