Maier is recovering from a brace surgery to stabilize his right ulnar collateral ligament but should be able to make his pro debut sometime this season, Jonathan Mayo of MLB.com reports.

Atlanta still gave Maier a $1.2 million bonus after selecting him in the seventh round of last year's draft even though he had already had the surgery, which speaks to his upside if he can make a full recovery. Pre-injury, Maier was touching 97 mph with his sinker and sporting a high-spin slider and advanced changeup. He will likely be assigned to Single-A or High-A once healthy.

Savino will miss the 2023 season after undergoing shoulder surgery, Sam Dykstra of MLB.com reports.

A third-round pick out of Virginia in last year's draft, Savino will have to wait until 2024 to make his pro debut as a 22-year-old. The 6-foot-3 southpaw showed added velocity in his final college season and has a chance to develop into a back-of-the-rotation starter.

Quintana (ribs) was transferred Tuesday from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day injured list.

This move opens up a spot on the Mets' 40-man roster for Seth Elledge, who was claimed off waivers Tuesday from Atlanta. Quintana will be out until at least July after requiring a bone graft on his ribcage in late March to repair a stress fracture and remove a benign tumor.

Soroka (hamstring) tossed four innings of one-run ball Tuesday in his second start with Triple-A Gwinnett.

Soroka scattered three hits and two walks while striking out five in the 69-pitch outing. He needed 29 pitches to get through the first inning but only 40 to cover the following three. Soroka became all the more important to Atlanta's overall pitching depth when it was announced Tuesday morning that Ian Anderson is headed for Tommy John surgery.

Anderson (elbow) will require Tommy John surgery, Jeff Passan and Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com report.

Anderson was placed on the injured list at Triple-A Gwinnett last Tuesday after struggling in his first start there, and he has since been diagnosed with a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. The 24-year-old will be sidelined until sometime in 2024. He was excellent for Atlanta between 2020-2021 before stumbling to a 5.00 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 97:54 K:BB in 111.2 major-league innings (22 starts) last season.

Rockies manager Bud Black suggested that Marquez will likely undergo an MRI on his right forearm Tuesday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.

Marquez made an early exit from his start Monday night against the Cardinals after experiencing some forearm tightness while warming up before the top of the sixth inning. Black called the early departure "precautionary" but added the 28-year-old right-hander would have to be reevaluated Tuesday, possibly with imaging scans. More should be known soon enough as to the severity of the injury.

Webb (0-3) took the loss Monday, allowing four runs on six hits and one walk over six innings in a 9-1 defeat to the Dodgers. He struck out six.

Webb struggled with the long ball again, serving up a solo shot to Mookie Betts in the first and a three-run homer to Max Muncy in the third. Through three starts (17 innings), the right-hander has given up 12 earned runs on 19 hits, including four home runs, but his 22:3 K:BB is still encouraging.

Urias (3-0) earned the win during Monday's 9-1 victory over the Giants, allowing one run on four hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out eight.

Urias got early run support from the Dodgers' offense, and aside from a solo home run by Wilmer Flores in the fourth, he cruised through six innings and secured his third win in as many tries. The left-hander has gone exactly six innings in each of his first three outings, totaling 20 strikeouts to just two walks while posting a spectacular 1.50 ERA and 0.83 WHIP. Urias' next start is tentatively scheduled for L.A.'s weekend set against the Cubs.

Corbin (1-2) earned the win during Monday's 6-4 win over the Angels, allowing four runs on seven hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out three.

Corbin was shaky in the first and ultimately got tagged for two runs on a single by Luis Rengifo. The left-hander also surrendered two runs in the third off a solo shot from Hunter Renfroe and an RBI double by Gio Urshela. However, Corbin was able to settle down after that and secured a win thanks to five unanswered runs from Washington's offense. Through three starts (14 innings), Corbin holds an ugly 7.71 ERA and has just nine strikeouts compared to six walks.

Miley (1-1) took the loss Monday, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks over five innings against the Diamondbacks. He struck out three.

Arizona got on the on the board in the first with an RBI single by Josh Rojas, but Miley was able to settle in after that and tossed three scoreless frames before surrendering a two-run shot to Christian Walker in the fifth. The left-hander was able to get out of his final inning by retiring Evan Longoria, but his mediocre start wasn't good enough, as the Brewers were blanked by Zac Gallen. Across two starts (11 innings), Miley has given up 10 hits, three walks and three runs while striking out six. His next start is tentatively scheduled against San Diego, which should be an interesting challenge for the veteran.
