Atlanta reinstated Fried (hamstring) from the 15-day injured list in advance of his scheduled start Monday in San Diego.

Reliever Lucas Luetge (bicep) was moved to the IL to open up a spot on the 26-man active roster for Fried, who returns after a near-minimum-length stay on the shelf due to a left hamstring strain. He didn't complete a minor-league rehab assignment while he was sidelined with the injury he picked up in Atlanta's March 30 season opener, but he was able to resume throwing less than a week after straining his hamstring and should be able to offer something approximating a normal workload in his return to the rotation Monday.

Wheeler won't start Monday against the White Sox after the game was postponed due to inclement weather in Chicago, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

The Phillies and White Sox will make up the game as part of a straight doubleheader Tuesday. Expect Wheeler to take the hill for one of those games, while Bailey Falter starts the other half of the twin bill.

Wainwright (groin) will begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Springfield on Wednesday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Wainwright was initially expected to begin his rehab assignment Tuesday, but giving him an extra day off will allow him to throw a few more pitches Wednesday. Moving back to Wednesday will also line Wainwright up to pitch the same day as Jake Woodford, whose rotation spot he's likely to take once activated form the 15-day injured list. It's not clear how many rehab outings Wainwright will require, but he's on track for a return before the end of the month.

Butto gave up one run on five hits and four walks in a no decision versus the Athletics on Sunday. He struck out two.

Butto supplied the Mets with a solid effort after he stepped in to pitch on short notice. The 25-year-old showed some struggle with his command, throwing just 43-of-83 pitches for strikes but he did induce a 50 percent ground ball rate and was able to limit the damage overall. Butto will likely be optioned back to Triple-A Syracuse on Monday and could be a candidate for another call up if the Mets' rotation faces any more injuries.

Miley (2-1) earned the win Sunday, pitching seven shutout innings while allowing four hits and striking out eight against the Padres. He did not walk a batter.

Miley was engaged in a pitcher's duel with Yu Darvish and turned in one of his better outings in recent memory. He completed seven innings for the first time since May 16 and his eight strikeouts were his most since Sept. 7, 2021. Miley typically isn't known for being a strikeout type of pitcher, but he was able to neutralize the Padres' lineup with relative ease. The 36-year-old has tossed shutouts in two-of-three starts to kick off the year and now stands at a 1.50 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and a 14:3 K:BB over 18 innings. He tentatively lines up to face the Red Sox at home next weekend.

Darvish (0-2) allowed one run on four hits and two walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out 12 while taking the loss against the Brewers.

Darvish was locked into a pitcher's duel with Wade Miley and came out on the wrong side despite a dazzling performance. The 36-year-old had solid command of all his pitches, finishing with 10-plus strikeouts for the 50th time in his career. Darvish was defeated via small ball after Garrett Mitchell reached via a bunt single in the second inning. He got to second on a balk and then stole third before crossing the plate on a sacrifice fly by Brian Anderson. It was a nice bounce-back outing from Darvish, who lowered his ERA to 3.44 to go with a 1.09 WHIP over 18.1 innings. He'll be in search of his first win of the year when he takes the mound next weekend against the Diamondbacks.

Keller did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing three runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings against the Cardinals. He struck out three.

Keller surrendered a run in the opening frame and then kept the Cardinals' bats quiet until the sixth when Lars Nootbaar tied the game at three with a two-run blast to right field. Keller commented after the game that he didn't feel "too crisp" during the outing but still found a way to grind out a third consecutive quality start. The 27-year-old will take a 3.80 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and a 25:10 K:BB over 23.2 innings into his next start, which is projected to take place at home against the Reds.

Mikolas did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits and two walks over 5.2 innings in a 5-4 extra-inning win over the Pirates. He struck out four.

Mikolas surrendered runs in each of the first two innings before shutting down the Pirates over the next three frames. He found himself in some trouble again in the sixth and was pulled with two outs and runners on first and third, just robbing him of his first quality start of the year. The Pirates tacked on a third run off a fielding error, but Mikolas was able to avoid a loss after the Cardinals came back to win. The seven hits and two earned runs were both season-low marks for the 34-year-old, who has gotten knocked around early on in the campaign. He now sports an 8.10 ERA and a 19:5 K:BB over 20 innings and will look to build off this outing with a tentative start against the Mariners next weekend.

Alcantara (1-2) took the loss Sunday against Arizona, allowing five runs on seven hits through six innings. He struck out nine.

Alcantara put on an impressive performance on the mound with what is easily a season-high strikeout total despite significantly worsening his earned run average since his previous outing, Alcantara couldn't work his way to a win, as the Marlins' offense was stifled by opposing pitcher Zac Gallen. With a 5.84 ERA and a 20:6 K:BB ratio over 24.2 innings pitched, the 27-year-old right-hander will look to bounce back in his next start, tentatively scheduled for the upcoming series against Cleveland.

Gallen (2-1) earned the win Sunday, allowing zero runs on two hits through 6.2 innings in a 5-0 victory over the Marlins. He struck out seven.

Gallen impressed again, looking untouchable for a second consecutive game. The 27-year-old quickly retired the first 13 Marlins batters he faced and did not allow a run throughout his 6.2 innings of work. Following this performance, Gallen has gone 13.2 innings without yielding a run and has racked up 18 strikeouts while allowing a single walk during that span. He holds a 3.33 ERA and 0.95 WHIP over 24.1 innings pitched and will look to continue this scoreless streak in his next start, tentatively scheduled this week for Arizona's upcoming series with San Diego.
