Feltner allowed four runs (all unearned) on two hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings in a no-decision against St. Louis on Saturday.

Feltner held the Cardinals scoreless through five frames but ran into trouble when the first two batters reached base against him in the sixth. The right-hander responded by striking out Masyn Winn, but his defense then let him down with errors on each of the following two balls hit in play. That led to Feltner's departure and spoiled his chance at what could have been his first victory since April 12. Despite the disappointing finish, this was a much-needed bounce-back effort from Feltner after he allowed a combined 15 runs (13 earned) across 9.2 innings over his previous two starts.

Munoz (1-2) allowed four runs on five hits and four walks while striking out three over four-plus innings to take the loss versus the Guardians on Saturday.

Munoz made his first big-league appearance in over a month, but he didn't pitch particularly well. He allowed a solo home run to Jose Ramirez in the first inning, and Steven Kwan's two-run blast in the fifth ended Munoz's outing. Through 19.2 innings, the rookie right-hander has a 5.95 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 22:11 K:BB. It's unclear if Munoz will stay in the rotation, but the Marlins have lost Sixto Sanchez (shoulder) and Ryan Weathers (finger) in June, so they will need to dip into their starting depth.

Abbott (5-5) earned the win over the Cubs on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and four walks while striking out five over five innings.

Abbott struggled a bit with his command in this one as he tied a season high with four walks, but he still managed to get through five innings to get the win. Abbott has now won four of his last six starts and has allowed two runs or fewer in 10 of his 13 starts thus far. The 25-year-old lefty has been a key cog in the Reds' rotation this year, and he will take a 3.28 ERA into his start against the first-place Brewers next week.

Peralta did not factor into the decision Saturday against the Tigers, allowing four runs (three earned) on four hits and five walks while striking out three over 3.1 innings.

Peralta had issues with his command Saturday, with the five walks being tied for his second most this season. He threw 94 pitches to retire just 10 batters as he found himself in constant trouble with a lot of traffic on the bases. It was the 28-year-old's shortest outing yet in 2024 and represents the latest bump in the road after Peralta got off to a strong start to the season.

Gallen (hamstring) threw a flat-ground session Saturday and is expected to throw a bullpen session soon, Jesse Friedman of GoPHNX.com reports.

Gallen was cleared for throwing June 3 and was able to complete a flat-ground session Saturday. The next box for Gallen to check in his recovery from a right hamstring strain would be a bullpen session, which should occur in the coming days. Gallen will be eligible to return from the 15-day injured list June 15, though it's unclear if he'll be ready to join the big club by then.

Morton (3-3) took the loss Saturday against Washington, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits over five innings. He struck out three.

The Nationals got to Morton early Saturday, scoring three runs in the first two innings. The 40-year-old Morton has had a tough time with Washington this year, yielding 12 earned runs over 10.2 innings in two starts against the Nats. His ERA now sits at 4.12 on the season with a 1.30 WHIP and 68:28 K:BB across 67.2 innings. Morton will look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week at home versus Tampa Bay.

Gore (5-5) earned the win Saturday over Atlanta, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out seven.

Gore delivered four shutout innings before he was ultimately charged with a run in each of the fifth and sixth innings. While he failed to make it through six innings for a third straight outing, it was a solid rebound effort from Gore after he was tagged for six runs in just 4.1 innings in his last start against the Mets. Overall, the 25-year-old southpaw sports a 3.57 ERA with a 1.37 WHIP and 81:22 K:BB across 68 innings this year. Gore's currently scheduled to face the Marlins at home in his next start.

Kershaw (shoulder) will throw a three-inning simulated game next week and then start a rehab assignment, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports Saturday.

Kershaw completed a two-inning sim game Friday -- his second simulated game of June -- and will throw another one next week before being sent off to a rehab assignment. The veteran lefty touched 90 mph Friday and is ahead of schedule in his recovery from November shoulder surgery. Still, Kershaw will likely require a handful of rehab starts before rejoining the big-league roster, making a July return feasible.

Manaea (3-3) took the loss Saturday against the Phillies in London, allowing six runs on seven hits and a walk over 3.2 innings. He struck out three.

Manaea got off to a good start Saturday, holding the Phillies to just one hit through his first three scoreless innings. However, Bryce Harper launched a home run with one out in the fourth before Philadelphia rallied for five runs with two outs in the frame, forcing Manaea from the game. The left-hander's now allowed 11 earned runs over 9.1 innings in his last two starts after pitching to a 2.70 ERA over his previous seven outings. Overall, Manaea sports a 4.30 ERA with a 1.35 WHIP and 60:25 K:BB across 60.2 innings this year. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, currently scheduled for next week at home versus the Padres.

The Diamondbacks optioned Castellanos to Triple-A Reno on Saturday.

Castellanos was selected to the active roster Thursday, and he will now head back to the minors after giving up five earned runs in 2.1 innings during Friday's loss. He'll remain on the 40-man roster as he heads back to Triple-A, but the Diamondbacks may be hesitant to call him back up to the majors given his poor performance. Scott McGough will come up from Reno to fill the open bullpen spot.
