Bassitt (back) tossed 3.1 innings, allowing one run on one hit and a walk while striking out three batters in Tuesday's rehab start with Triple-A Norfolk, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Bassitt surrendered a solo home run to Franklin Arias (No. 1 prospect for Red Sox) on the first pitch of the game, but he quickly settled in, retiring 10 of the next 11 batters. The right-hander registered 28 strikes over his 46 total pitches, and he'll likely build up past 60-plus pitches in his next outing with Norfolk. Bassitt has been on the injured list since June 8 while recovering from lower-back discomfort, which ultimately required surgery. He's eligible to be activated from the 60-day IL on Aug. 4, though he'll likely return to the major-league roster in mid-to-late August.

Manager A.J. Hinch said Tuesday that he expects Flaherty (forearm) to be on the injured list beyond the 15-day minimum, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander landed on the shelf last week due to right forearm inflammation and has already improved after receiving some treatment, but he apparently remains shut down from throwing. Flaherty will be eligible to be reinstated next week, but he can be safely ruled out until at least mid-August. Until he starts throwing again, the 31-year-old likely won't have a clear timetable for his return.

Ginn (finger) threw a bullpen Monday and is scheduled to throw another one Wednesday, per MLB.com.

Ginn landed on the injured list last week due to a blister on his right middle finger, but he shouldn't remain shelved much longer. The right-hander is eligible to return Aug. 3, and provided he comes out of Wednesday's session with no issues, the 27-year-old could reclaim his spot in the rotation as soon as Aug. 4 against the Reds. In 109.1 innings (22 appearances) this season, Ginn owns an 8-6 record with a 3.46 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 100:49 K:BB.

Lagrange (shoulder) has resumed a throwing program, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.

Lagrange was shut down for four weeks after being diagnosed earlier this month with a capsular sprain in his right shoulder, but he was cleared to play catch Tuesday. The hard-throwing righty will continue with a slow build-up process before eventually returning to games. Lagrange had been viewed as a likely contributor in the bullpen for the Yankees in the second half before getting hurt. It could still happen, but it's unlikely to occur before September, if at all.

Severino (shoulder) began a throwing progression Saturday, per MLB.com.

Severino has been on the shelf since May 30 due to a right shoulder strain and was shifted to the 60-day injured list June 21. Beginning to throw is a positive step, though he likely has several more boxes to check before embarking on a rehab assignment and ultimately rejoining the big-league rotation. The veteran right-hander posted a 2-6 record with a 4.16 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 65:31 K:BB across 62.2 innings (12 starts) before this lengthy absence.

Tolle (6-6) earned the win Monday, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over 5.1 innings against the Athletics. He struck out seven.

Tolle was tagged for solo homers in the first and sixth innings but otherwise limited the damage while pitching at the hitter-friendly Sutter Health Park. The southpaw has recorded at least five strikeouts in each of his past six starts, reaching the seven-punchout mark four times during that stretch. Overall, the 23-year-old owns a 3.32 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 103:27 K:BB across 95 innings (17 starts) this season. Tolle's next start is tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the Dodgers.

Javier (1-1) earned the win in Monday's 6-4 win over the Angels. He allowed three hits and no walks while striking out seven over five scoreless innings in relief.

After Tatsuya Imai recorded just two outs and AJ Blubaugh covered through the third inning, Javier entered in the fourth frame and shut down the Angels offense with a season-high seven strikeouts. It was a much-needed performance both for the Astros, who were able to complete a comeback win, and for the right-hander himself, as he entered Monday with a 9.37 ERA and 2.20 WHIP in seven appearances (four starts) spanning 16.1 innings. With Ronel Blanco healthy and Hayden Wesneski (elbow) close to making his season debut, Javier is likely to remain in the bullpen for the time being, though his gutsy performance in Anaheim was certainly an encouraging step as he looks to turn things around the rest of the way.

Urena did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing one run on two hits and two walks over six innings against the Astros. He struck out five.

Aside from a solo homer by Taylor Trammell in the fourth inning, Urena kept the Astros offense quiet and was in line for the win before a ninth-inning implosion by the Angels bullpen. The right-hander's impressive rookie season has continued into July, as he's posted a 1.25 ERA and 1.02 WHIP across 21.2 innings (four starts) this month. Overall, Urena owns a 6-7 record with a 2.70 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 88:49 K:BB across 93.1 innings (19 appearances). His next outing is tentatively scheduled for Sunday against the Brewers.

Imai did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing two runs on a hit and four walks over two-thirds of an inning against the Angels. He struck out one.

Imai couldn't find the strike zone, throwing just 12 of 33 pitches for strikes and recording only two outs before being lifted in favor of AJ Blubaugh. A late-game rally by the Astros offense kept Imai from taking the loss, but it was still a disastrous outing for the 28-year-old. Control issues have consistently plagued the right-hander, as Monday marked the third time this season he's failed to complete a full inning in a start. Imai's first MLB season has featured a few bright spots but has mostly been a struggle, as he's posted a 5.83 ERA, 1.53 WHIP and 72:40 K:BB across 58.2 innings (15 starts). His next start is tentatively scheduled for Sunday against the Rangers.

Schultz allowed three runs on two hits and two walks while striking out five batters over 3.1 innings in a no-decision against the Yankees on Monday.

Chicago stormed out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning, and Schultz kept New York out of the scoring column for three frames. However, things unraveled for the lefty in the fourth inning, when he allowed the first three batters to reach base (on two walks and a single) before giving up a run-scoring groundout. Schultz was pulled after that, and two more runs were charged to his ledger after he departed. He threw 72 pitches in the short outing, and Schultz has completed less than four frames in each of his two starts since the All-Star break. The rookie now carries a 6.15 ERA on the campaign, and though a continued spot in the rotation isn't guaranteed, he's lined up to make his next start on the road in a pivotal AL East matchup against the Rays.
