Jump (4-7) allowed six runs on four hits and six walks while striking out five over 3.2 innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Tigers.

Jump has walked at least four batters in three straight outings, giving up 12 runs with a 17:14 K:BB across 14.1 innings in that span. The rookie southpaw hadn't walked that many batters in any of his first 10 outings. He's now at a 4.59 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 73:31 K:BB through 66.2 innings over 13 starts this season. Jump is at least doing a good job of limiting home runs -- he's given up just seven long balls, though he's been tagged for multiple homers three times. He's projected to make his next start at Boston.

Bradley did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing three runs on seven hits and four walks over six innings against the Mariners. He struck out two.

Bradley ran into trouble early, allowing two runs in the first inning, but was able to limit the damage and record a quality start. Walks have been a bit of an issue for the right-hander all season and have ticked up even further of late, as he's issued at least three free passes in each of his past four starts. Overall, Bradley owns a 9-4 record with a 3.69 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 141:53 K:BB across 126.2 innings (22 starts) and is tentatively scheduled to pitch Saturday against the Brewers.

Kirby did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing five hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings against the Twins. He struck out three.

Kirby silenced the Twins offense across seven shutout innings, though a bullpen implosion kept him from being credited with the win. It was a much-needed bounce-back effort for the right-hander, who was tagged for seven runs in Monday's loss to the Rangers. Overall, the 28-year-old owns an 8-9 record with a 3.76 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 110:26 K:BB across 127 innings (21 starts) and is lined up to pitch next weekend against the Rays.

Bradish (7-10) took the loss Sunday in a rain-shortened outing against the Phillies, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks over three innings. He struck out three.

Both runs charged to Bradish came on Bryan De La Cruz's homer in the third inning, the first long ball he's given up since the All-Star break, which proved enough to leave him with the loss in an 8-0, rain-shortened defeat. Bradish's ERA now sits at 3.79 through 22 starts (121 innings) this season with a 1.36 WHIP and 117:54 K:BB. He's currently in line for a road matchup with the Rangers his next time out.

Kremer is slated to make his Twins debut with a start Wednesday in Kansas City, Bobby Nightengale of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Kremer will be taking the hill on six days' rest after making his final appearance for the Orioles on July 28 before he was dealt to the Twins on Saturday in exchange for minor-league outfielder Jhomnardo Reyes. The right-hander went 1-4 with a 6.50 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 36 innings over seven starts for the Orioles this season, but he turned in a career-best 17.6 K-BB rate and was the victim of an unsustainably high 26.7 percent HR/FB rate, up 14.4 percentage points from his career-long rate.

Castillo will make his White Sox debut Thursday in Boston, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

After making his final start for the Mariners on Tuesday before being dealt to the White Sox on Saturday, Castillo will be well-rested and will have some extra time to get acclimated before debuting for his new organization. A three-time All-Star, Castillo brings ample experience to the White Sox rotation, but he submitted a 5.06 ERA and 1.39 WHIP -- both career-worst marks -- over 99.2 innings for the Mariners this season. He's been especially stung by the long ball recently, surrendering seven home runs over his last three outings after giving up just two total in his eight appearances before that.

Urena (7-7) allowed three hits and three walks while striking out seven over six shutout innings to earn the win over the Brewers on Sunday.

Urena wasn't quite as stingy as opposing starter Jacob Misiorowski when it came to baserunners, but Urena was able to avoid giving up a run. Over his last seven outings, Urena has held an opponent to one run or less on six occasions. He's allowed just 10 runs across 37 innings with a 37:17 K:BB in that span. For the season, the rookie right-hander has a 2.54 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 95:52 K:BB across 99.1 innings through 20 appearances (18 starts). His next start is projected to be on the road in Miami.

Lugo (4-7) allowed five runs on five hits and five walks while striking out three over five-plus innings to take the loss versus the Rockies on Sunday.

Lugo just didn't have his control in place Sunday -- the five walks were a season high. He threw 52 of 99 pitches for strikes. Lugo's been prone to a few bad starts this season, though he had posted three consecutive quality starts prior to this outing. He's produced a 4.41 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 99:45 K:BB through 128.2 innings over 23 starts on the year. The 36-year-old is tentatively projected for a home start versus the Cubs in his next outing.

Javier is scheduled to start Monday's game against the Blue Jays in Houston, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Javier will be awarded his fifth start of the season after he had worked out of the bullpen in his past two appearances and allowed just four hits with a 9:0 K:BB across six scoreless innings. The right-hander has a 3.00 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 17:6 K:BB over 12 frames in five appearances overall since returning from a shoulder strain in early July. He could be operating with a restricted pitch count Monday, but Javier looks like he'll have a path to making multiple turns through the rotation while Spencer Arrighetti (foot) is on the shelf and the struggling Tatsuya Imai works out of the bullpen.

Scherzer allowed one run on four hits and a walk across six innings in a no-decision Sunday against the Cardinals. He struck out five.

It was a strong bounce-back effort from Scherzer after he went only 2.2 innings in his first start back from the IL against the Nationals his last time out. Sunday's effort marked Scherzer's third quality start in eight outings this season and his first since April 18. Overall, the veteran right-hander sports a 7.92 ERA with a 1.63 WHIP and 23:15 K:BB across 30.2 innings this year. Scherzer is currently slated to face the Cubs on the road his next time out.
