Berrios (2-3) yielded six runs on nine hits and a walk over 4.2 innings Sunday, striking out five and taking a loss against Philadelphia.

Berrios gave up a run in the first and third innings, followed by two more in the fourth. His day was over shortly after serving up a two-run shot to Alec Bohm in the fifth. Berrios had given up six total runs across 30.2 frames (1.76 ERA) over his previous five starts. It was the third time in his 15 outings this season in which he allowed at least five runs. Berrios now owns a 3.81 ERA with a 76:33 K:BB over 87.1 frames. He's lined up for a home matchup with the White Sox next weekend.

The Red Sox optioned Harrison to Triple-A Worcester after acquiring him from the Giants on Sunday.

Along with Harrison, the Red Sox brought in right-handers Jordan Hicks (toe) and Jose Bello and outfielder James Tibbs in a deal that sent designated hitter Rafael Devers to San Francisco. Though Harrison will likely be an option to make starts for the Red Sox later this season, the big club didn't have a spot available for him in the rotation, so he'll begin his tenure in the organization at Triple-A. The left-hander turned in a 4.48 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with 178 strikeouts over 182.2 innings in 39 appearances (35 starts) during parts of three seasons in the majors with the Giants.

Hicks (toe) was traded to the Red Sox in a deal that returned Rafael Devers to the Giants on Sunday, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Hicks will head to Boston after being placed on the 15-day injured list June 3 with right toe inflammation. The right-hander has appeared in 13 games, including nine starts, with the Giants this season, posting a disappointing 6.47 ERA and 1.54 WHIP with 43 strikeouts over 48.2 innings on the mound. Left-hander Kyle Harrison also went to Boston in the move, and it appears as if Hicks will remain a bullpen arm moving forward.

The Red Sox acquired Harrison, right-hander Jordan Hicks (toe), right-hander Jose Bello and outfielder James Tibbs from the Giants on Sunday in exchange for Rafael Devers, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports.

Harrison had been slated to start for the Giants in Sunday's series finale against the Dodgers, but he was scratched just minutes before the game after the trade was completed. The left-hander had compiled a 4.56 ERA and 1.27 WHIP with 25 strikeouts over 23.2 innings in eight appearances (four starts) for San Francisco. The Red Sox are likely to have Harrison continue his development as a starter, but the team may not have an immediate opening for the 23-year-old in the big-league rotation. Harrison has three minor-league options remaining and could be sent to Triple-A Worcester to continue making regular starts.

Hancock (3-2) allowed two hits and a walk while striking out four over seven shutout innings to earn the win over the Guardians on Sunday.

Hancock had his longest outing of the year and had no trouble keeping Cleveland's offense under control. He finished the start with just 85 pitches (56 strikes), and he was able to erase two of the baserunners he allowed by inducing double plays. This was Hancock's sixth straight start with fewer than three runs allowed, though he has just two quality starts in that span as he's struggled to meet the six-inning requirement. Hancock has a 4.48 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 45:21 K:BB through 62.1 innings over 12 starts. With Bryce Miller (elbow) back on the injured list through the All-Star break, Hancock will continue to serve as the Mariners' fifth starter, with his next outing projected to be on the road versus the Cubs.

Ortiz (3-8) allowed six runs on five hits and five walks while striking out five over six innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Mariners.

Ortiz had some early struggles, allowing five of the six runs in the second inning, which included him giving up a grand slam to J.P. Crawford. After going five starts from May 11 to June 4 without allowing more than three runs in any outing, Ortiz has given up 10 runs over 10.2 innings across his last two appearances. He's now at a 4.64 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 81:39 K:BB over 75.2 innings through 14 starts this season. His lofty walk rate remains a concern, though he is fanning batters at a high rate as well. Ortiz is projected to make his next start on the road versus the Athletics.

Springs took a no-decision in Sunday's 3-2 win at Kansas City, conceding two runs on seven hits and no walks over six innings. He struck out two.

The veteran lefty continues to heat up, as he now sports a 3.86 ERA over 18.2 innings in June after entering the month with a 4.72 mark. Both runs Springs allowed came in the third, as he managed to generate 11 whiffs in this 89-pitch performance. The 32-year-old has been a vastly different pitcher away from Sacramento this season -- he has pitched to a 3.83 ERA across 47 road innings opposed to a 5.51 ERA in 32.2 home frames. Springs will look to lower that home ERA in his next start, currently slated to be against the Guardians in Sacramento next weekend.

Cameron did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Athletics, yielding four hits and one walk over five scoreless innings. He struck out seven.

The rookie southpaw generated a solid 13 whiffs out of his 83 total pitches to secure his third performance of six or more strikeouts in seven career starts. Cameron should continue to stick in the Kansas City rotation while Cole Ragans (shoulder) remains out; however, the Royals may have trouble removing Cameron from the starter's role even when Ragans returns considering he's now pitched to a 1.91 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 32:17 K:BB through 42.1 innings. The 25-year-old is currently scheduled to make his next start at San Diego next weekend.

Baz (6-3) earned the win Sunday against the Mets, yielding three hits and four walks over 6.2 scoreless innings. He struck out six.

The Tampa Bay right-hander produced his first scoreless outing since April 25 at San Diego en route to securing his fifth quality start. Baz generated a solid 15 whiffs out of his 106 total pitches to mark his third straight outing with five or more Ks. With this effort, the 25-year-old lowered his ERA from 4.97 to 4.54 through 77.1 total frames. Baz lines up to make his next start in next weekend's home series against the Tigers, who rank sixth in total runs scored.

Povich (2-5) earned the win Sunday over the Angels, allowing three hits and a walk over 3.2 scoreless innings. He struck out four.

After Scott Blewett gave up two runs in the first 2.2 innings, Povich settled things down in his first appearance out of the bullpen this season en route to his first win since April 24. It was an encouraging effort from the left-hander, after he'd given up 12 runs over 14.2 innings in his previous three starts. Overall, Povich sports a 5.15 ERA with a 1.50 WHIP and 68:23 K:BB across 64.2 innings this season. It seems likely that Povich will work behind an opener again in his next appearance, tentatively lined up for next week against the Yankees, following the positive result Sunday.
