Jose Berrios SP | TOR
Twins' Jose Berrios: Roughed up in New York
Berrios (2-2) allowed five earned runs on six hits while walking two and striking out seven across four innings to take the loss Tuesday against the Yankees.
Berrios suffered his worst start of the season, with the damage coming in large part from surrendering two home runs. Tuesday's start marked the first time that he surrendered multiple walks or home runs, indicating just how dominant he had been through his first four starts. There's no reason for concern about Berrios in future starts, as this rough outing came against one of the most potent offenses in the league.

Marco Gonzales RP | TEX
Mariners' Marco Gonzales: Spins six scoreless Tuesday
Gonzales (2-2) tossed six scoreless innings in Tuesday's win over the White Sox. He allowed five hits, walked one and struck out eight.
Gonzales was pulled after throwing 89 pitches through six innings before four Mariner relievers combined to post the team's first shutout of the season. The southpaw now owns a 10.2-inning scoreless streak in which he's walked only two batters and struck out 16, lowering his ERA to 4.37. He'll look to extend his scoreless streak Sunday against the Indians.

Alex Cobb SP | DET
Orioles' Alex Cobb: Start pushed to Wednesday
Cobb will start Wednesday's game against the Rays, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
The Orioles will keep their rotation in order following Tuesday's postponement, so Cobb will slide back to start Wednesday while Dylan Bundy takes the ball for Thursday's series finale against the Rays. Cobb will look to turn things around in his third start of the season, as he's allowed 15 runs (12 earned) through his first two outings with the Orioles.

Blake Snell SP | LAD
Rays' Blake Snell: Start moved from Thursday
Snell won't start Thursday's game against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
With Tuesday's game against the Orioles being postponed, the Rays decided to move their rotation back a day. As a result, Chris Archer will start instead of Snell for Thursday's series finale versus Tampa Bay. This is a tough draw for Snell, as his next scheduled start will now come Friday against the high-powered Red Sox if the Rays stay in order.

Nathan Eovaldi SP | TEX
Rays' Nathan Eovaldi: Remains ahead of schedule
Eovaldi (elbow) threw a 25-pitch bullpen session Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The right-hander seems to be ahead of his original 8-10 week timetable for return. Eovaldi is aiming for a late-May return, but there's a chance he could return even sooner if he continues to overachieve in his rehab program.

Gerrit Cole SP | NYY
Astros' Gerrit Cole: Takes first loss despite eight strikeouts
Cole (2-1) held the Angels to just two runs on four hits and two walks with eight strikeouts through seven innings Monday night but was stuck with his first loss.
For the fifth time in a row, Cole completed the seventh, and he has still yet to allow more than two runs or five hits in a start. This, though, marked the first time the Astros failed to support him well enough to at least leave him with a no-decision. Cole induced 14 swinging strikes in 109 pitches as he increased his strikeout total to just 49 over 35 innings of work. His 1.28 ERA is supported by a fantastic 6.1 K/BB.

Jake Odorizzi SP | TB
Twins' Jake Odorizzi: Allows five runs in loss to Yanks
Odorizzi (1-2) allowed five runs on five hits and three walks across 4.2 innings while taking the loss Monday against the Yankees. He struck out five.
Odorozzi allowed three runs during a first-inning rally before allowing solo home runs in the second and the fifth to round out the damage against his ledger. He continuously squandered favorable counts, throwing just 56 percent of his pitches for strikes despite getting ahead on 14 of 22 batters faced. Odorizzi put together two quality starts in his first three, but he's struggled since then and now owns a 4.50 ERA. He'll look to get back on track this weekend against the Reds.
