Maeda (3-3) took the loss Tuesday as the Twins fell 7-6 to the White Sox, coughing up seven runs on eight hits and five walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.

After having his turn in the rotation postponed twice due to inclement weather, Maeda seemingly couldn't find the feel on his pitches. The five free passes were a season high for the right-hander, and he'll carry a 5.56 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 54:20 K:BB through 56.2 innings into his next start.

Heany (4-6) took the loss Tuesday against the Yankees after surrendering seven runs on five hits with four strikeouts and four walks across three innings.

Heaney needed 77 pitches to record nine outs and tied a pair of his season worsts by issuing four free passes and serving up three homers. It's the third consecutive loss for the left-hander, who now has a 5.40 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 89:24 K:BB over 71.2 innings through 14 starts.

Taillon (3-4) earned the win Tuesday against the Angels despite allowing five runs on nine hits with four strikeouts and a walk over 5.1 innings.

All the damage off the right-hander came via the long ball, as Shohei Ohtani went deep twice and Jose Iglesias also homered. It's the first time since April 13, his second outing of the season, that Taillon surrendered more than four runs. He has a 5.43 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 73:21 K:BB across 69.2 innings this season.

Hill (6-3) was charged with the loss Tuesday at Washington after giving up four runs on eight hits with two strikeouts and a walk over six innings.

The veteran southpaw surrendered three homers over the first two frames and appeared destined for a short outing, though he settled down and was able to keeps the Nationals off the board for the next four innings. Hill has scuffled across his past four outings with 13 runs allowed and a 17:10 K:BB, though Tuesday was the first time he's been tagged for a loss in over a month. He has a 3.70 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 80:30 K:BB over 82.2 innings this season.

Flexen did not factor into the decision during Tuesday's loss to the Blue Jays. He allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks with a pair of strikeouts across five innings.

Flexen served up a two-run double to Marcus Semien in the second frame, then worked his way into trouble in the fifth when he loaded the bases by allowing a double and back-to-back free passes. Luckily, the right-hander was able to limit the damage to one run on a sacrifice fly by Cavan Biggio. After tallying 14 strikeouts and giving up just one run in his previous two starts, Tuesday's shaky outing was a bit of a disappointment, including his season-worst three walks. The 26-year-old will carry a 3.97 ERA and 1.30 WHIP into his next projected appearance at home Sunday against Texas.

Ray (6-3) earned the win Tuesday after holding the Mariners to three runs on five hits and a walk while striking out 10 across six innings.

Ray blanked the Mariners until the sixth inning, when Ty France broke through with a three-run long ball. Regardless, the southpaw continued to rack up the punchouts, recording his fourth double-digit effort of the season. It's been a solid month for Ray, who registered his fifth quality start out of six June outings and his 10th of the year. The 29-year-old is slated to take the mound again at home Sunday against Tampa Bay.

Urquidy was diagnosed with right shoulder discomfort after leaving Tuesday's start versus Baltimore, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The right-hander surrendered a solo homer over 1.1 frames and was pulled after a drop in velocity during the second inning. Urquidy's next turn through the rotation is firmly in question, though the severity of the injury remains unclear.

Urena won't pitch as scheduled Tuesday against Cleveland since the game was postponed due to inclement weather.

The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader Wednesday. Urena will start Game 1 of the twin bill while Wednesday's originally scheduled starter, Wily Peralta, starts the nightcap.

Urquidy was removed from Tuesday's start against the Orioles with an apparent injury, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

The 26-year-old was visited by the athletic trainer after showing decreased velocity during the second inning, resulting in his removal from the contest. Urquidy recorded four outs and allowed a solo homer with zero strikeouts or walks before leaving the game. The Astros should update his status in the near future.

Turnbull (forearm) was cleared to resume throwing Tuesday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Turnbull has been out with a forearm strain since early June. He doesn't have a clear return date, but he's moving in the right direction and is expected to advance to mound work by the end of the week.
