Glasnow (elbow) continues to feel good after playing light catch, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Glasnow was able to resume playing light catch last week after he was shut down for approximately four weeks, but he still doesn't have a timetable to return to mound work. The right-hander is optimistic that he'll be able to return in 2021, and his return timetable could come into focus when he resumes throwing off a mound.

Manoah recently suffered a back contusion and may miss his scheduled start against the Red Sox on Tuesday, Mitch Bannon of SI.com reports.

Manoah recently slipped on the dugout steps and landed on his back, so his next turn through the rotation is in jeopardy. While the right-hander was able to play catch Monday, manager Charlie Montoyo said that Thomas Hatch or Anthony Kay could be candidates to fill in if Manoah is unable to pitch.

Schmidt (elbow) isn't expected to be reinstated from the 60-day injured list until September, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.

Schmdit has been throwing off a mound for several weeks now, but the Yankees have yet to clear him to face hitters. Because of the slow progress in his recovery from a strained right elbow, Schmidt will likely be brought along slowly in his ramp-up program once he advances to facing hitters. The Yankees still plan to develop Schmidt as a starter over the long haul, but due to the extensive time he's already missed, he'll likely be deployed as a reliever if he makes it back to the big club before season's end.

Rodriguez struck out a career-high 12 over five innings for Double-A Bowie in a 6-2 win over Erie on Sunday. He permitted one unearned run on two hits and one walk in the 83-pitch outing.

Heading into Sunday's start, Rodriguez had already dazzled over his first seven outings at Double-A, posting a 2.34 ERA and 0.81 WHIP while recording 45 punchouts in 34.2 innings. He somehow managed to raise the bar against a loaded Erie lineup, which featured a trio of highly regarded Tigers prospects in Spencer Torkelson, Riley Greene and Dillon Dingler. The 21-year-old righty looks like one of the top pitching prospects in all of baseball, and if he continues to dominate in the upper levels of the minors, he should be on track to join Baltimore's big-league rotation by the middle of 2022.

Wilcox is on the injured list at Low-A Charleston with an undisclosed injury.

He was excellent through 10 starts, logging a 2.03 ERA, 0.86 WHIP and 52 strikeouts in 44.1 innings. Wilcox was pulled after 2.1 perfect innings with five strikeouts on June 27, so he may have suffered an arm injury during that start.

Ragans allowed three runs on four hits and two walks while striking out three and hitting a batter over two innings for Double-A Frisco on Sunday.

It was a predictable outcome for a pitcher making his first start at the Double-A level. Ragans was promoted from High-A Hickory over the weekend after appearing in the All-Star Futures Game last week. The left-hander has overcome two Tommy John elbow surgeries and, prior to this season, hadn't pitched competitively since 2017.

Springs (5-1) was credited with the win in Sunday's victory over Atlanta, allowing a hit over two-thirds of an inning.

The veteran left-hander was called on for the second straight game and came through once more, firing eight of 10 pitches for strikes to close out the sixth inning. Springs then became the pitcher of record when the Rays launched a four-run comeback in the top of the seventh, giving him his first win since May 24. The 28-year-old now has three straight scoreless efforts as well, keeping his fantasy value strong in the nascent stages of the second half.

Hill didn't factor into the decision during a win over Atlanta on Sunday, allowing three earned runs on six hits and two walks over four innings. He struck out four.

The veteran left-hander was far from sharp and needed 83 pitches to record just 12 outs before getting the hook. After an excellent first two months of the season, Hill has now given up multiple earned runs in four of his last six starts, pitching to a 5.22 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 2.1 HR/9 over the 29.1 innings encompassing the entirety of that span. Having dropped two straight decisions, Hill will look to bounce back in a road start against Cleveland either Friday or Saturday.

Perez (7-6) lost Sunday's 9-1 game to the Yankees, allowing three runs on five hits and a walk with five strikeouts in four innings.

Perez's first mistake of the game came on a Gleyber Torres solo shot in the second and he allowed a single run in both the third and fifth innings on two hits allowed. He's averaging just over 4.1 innings pitched in 20 starts this season and is yet to reach 100 pitches in any game, though Perez has now allowed three runs or less in six straight starts.

Taillon (5-4) won Sunday's 9-1 game with Boston, pitching 5.1 scoreless innings and permitting four hits and two walks with three strikeouts.

Taillon held a powerful Boston lineup at bay all game, only encountering trouble in the fourth and sixth innings when he allowed runners to reach second and third with one out, but New York was able to escape both jams unscathed. The win is Taillon's fourth in his last five starts and he hasn't lost since May 31, an eight-start stretch that's seen his ERA improve to 4.60.
