Allard and the Rangers won't face the Red Sox on Sunday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

With Hurricane Henri expected to make landfall in Long Island or Southern New England on Sunday, the Red Sox opted to postpone the contest out of an abundance of caution. The two teams are scheduled to make up the game Monday at 1:10 p.m. ET, weather permitting. Allard, who was scheduled to start Sunday, will presumably be pushed back one day in the pitching schedule to take the hill for Texas in the series finale.

Rodriguez (9-7) took the loss against Texas on Saturday, allowing five runs on eight hits and one walk while striking out three over 3.2 innings.

The left-hander came into the outing with a 1.10 ERA over his past three starts, but he couldn't keep things going against the Rangers. Rodriguez made it through the first inning unscathed but gave up a pair of runs in the second. He was then chased in the fourth after allowing a pair of doubles and a single, resulting in two runs. The final tally against Rodriguez came after he left the contest. He'll look to put the poor outing behind him in his next start, which is lined up to come at Cleveland next Friday.

Lyles (6-10) earned the win over the Red Sox on Saturday, pitching seven innings and allowing one run on five hits and three walks while striking out six.

Lyles came into Saturday's contest having given up 17 earned runs over his past 17 innings, but he was markedly better against a potent Boston offense. The right-hander matched his season high with seven innings and allowed fewer than two runs for the fourth time this season to snap a five-decision losing streak. He'll carry a 5.33 ERA into his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to come at home against Houston next weekend.

McKenzie (3-5) earned the win over the Angels on Saturday. He allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out eight over seven-plus innings.

The right-hander continues to impress of late, as he's strung together four straight quality starts. A fielder's choice in the eighth inning produced the only run the Angels could muster against McKenzie in the contest. The 24-year-old has lowered his ERA from 6.11 at the end of July to 4.83 after his recent hot streak. He's added a 1.15 WHIP and 107:47 K:BB in 91.1 innings overall. McKenzie is projected to draw a tough home start versus Boston in next weekend's three-game series.

Detmers (1-3) allowed three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out four over 3.2 innings as he took the loss versus Cleveland on Saturday.

While the southpaw did little to help his own cause, the Angels mustered only four baserunners in the contest to support him. Detmers' biggest mistake was a three-run blast by Jose Ramirez in the third inning. The Angels' first-round pick from 2020 has struggled to a 7.11 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 17:9 K:BB across his first 19 big-league innings. He's projected for a tough home matchup versus San Diego next weekend.

Keuchel (8-7) was saddled with the loss Saturday against the Rays after allowing six runs on nine hits over five innings. He struck out three batters while walking a pair.

The Rays jumped on Keuchel early, scoring three runs in the first inning, and things didn't get much better from there, as he escaped with just a single scoreless inning. While he did manage to keep the ball in the yard, he's now striking out just 14.1 percent of opposing batters, so he's bound to have more outings like this one where the hits just keep falling. He'll look to bounce back next week against either the Blue Jays or Cubs, depending on whether Carlos Rodon (shoulder) is able to return during the series against Toronto.

Ryu (12-6) picked up the win Saturday, allowing five hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings in a 3-0 victory over the Tigers. He struck out five.

The southpaw tossed 70 of 105 pitches for strikes in a masterful performance, and Ryu let only one Detroit baserunner even get into scoring position en route to his 12th quality start of the year. This was exactly what he needed after coughing up 11 runs in 10 innings over his prior two outings, and Ryu will take a 3.54 ERA and 111:29 K:BB through 140 innings into his next start.

Cole improved to 12-6 on the season Saturday against the Twins, striking out six while walking one and allowing five hits in six scoreless innings.

The Twins rarely gave Cole much trouble outside of the fifth inning, when they loaded the bases with two outs, but Cole struck out a pair of batters to end the threat. His strikeout total was his lowest since July 4, but he's now allowed just a single earned run in 11.2 innings since returning from the COVID-19 injured list. He'll look to keep that run going in his next outing, which should come sometime in the four-game series against Oakland.

Bubic (4-6) picked up the win in Saturday's 4-2 victory over the Cubs, allowing two runs on one hit and two walks over 6.1 innings. He struck out a season-high nine.

The young southpaw took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before a 34-minute rain delay derailed his momentum, and he served up a two-run blast to Patrick Wisdom once play resumed in the seventh. Bubic bounced back in fine fashion from a seven-run disaster in his last outing, but performances like Saturday's have been the norm for him since the All-Star break as he has five quality starts in his last seven trips to the mound. Over that stretch, he sports a 4.21 ERA and 34:16 K:BB through 36.1 innings.

Odorizzi (6-6) allowed one run on four hits and four walks with eight strikeouts through 5.2 innings, getting the win in Saturday's 15-1 drubbing of the Mariners.

Entering play Saturday, Odorizzi had a 6.52 ERA against the Mariners in two starts this season. He worked to shrink that number, cruising through 5.2 innings of one-run ball against Seattle. After he struck out three or fewer in each of his last four starts, the eight whiffs were a welcomed sight. The only damage to his line came on a Mitch Haniger homer after Odorizzi spent over half an hour sequestered in the dugout while his teammates hung a six-spot on the scoreboard. The 31-year-old's next chance will likely come Friday against the Rangers.
