Manoah didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 2-1 win over the White Sox, giving up one run on five hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out five.

Making his return from the bereavement list, Manoah dueled Lance Lynn to a 1-1 standstill before exiting after 108 pitches (64 strikes). The rookie has seven quality starts in 13 trips to the mound to begin his big-league career, consistency that has led to a 3.18 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 78:25 K:BB through his first 68 innings for the Jays.

Lynn didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Blue Jays, allowing one run on four hits over seven innings. He struck out four without walking a batter.

The veteran right-hander was sharp and efficient, tossing 52 of 86 pitches for strikes before handing things over to the bullpen in a 1-1 game. Lynn has 13 quality starts on the season, including four in seven outings since the All-Star break, and he sports a stellar 2.20 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 145:40 K:BB through 130.2 innings.

Blackburn didn't factor into the decision during Monday's 5-3 loss to the Mariners, allowing two runs on five hits with five strikeouts in 5.2 innings.

Blackburn limited Seattle to just three baserunners through the first five innings but was dealt a big blow in the form of a Mitch Haniger two-run bomb in the sixth and departed with the score even at 2-2. The 27-year-old lines up to face the Yankees on Sunday and should remain in the rotation barring poor performance.

Gonzales pitched six innings in Monday's 5-3 win over Oakland, allowing three runs on five hits with two strikeouts. He didn't factor into the decision.

Gonzales needed only 90 pitches to complete an efficient six innings and was actually in line for the loss until Seattle rallied with three runs in the top of the ninth to eke out the win. The 29-year-old lefty has now limited his baserunners to five or fewer in four of his five August starts, though he also has surpassed five strikeouts in just one of those outings. Gonzales is expected to take the mound next against Kansas City on Sunday.

Greinke (11-4) lost Monday's 7-1 contest with the Royals, allowing two runs on six hits and a walk with two strikeouts in six innings.

Greinke was the tough-luck loser Monday, surrendering one run apiece in the second and third innings while Houston was only able to scratch across a single run against Kansas City starter Daniel Lynch. He's pitched to an excellent 2.90 ERA in seven second-half starts though the veteran has just 24 strikeouts in 40.1 innings during the stretch. The downturn in whiffs has led to a 6.3 K/9 -- Greinke's lowest mark since 2005.

Lynch (4-3) picked up the win in Monday's 7-1 victory against Houston, allowing one run on six hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings.

Lynch toed the rubber against Houston for the second straight start and quieted its potent offense once again en route to the victory. The rookie lefty escaped jams in the third and fifth -- when the top of Houston's order saw him for the second and third time -- to permit just a single run across both frames. Lynch departed with a 2-1 lead that Kansas City quickly extended to erase any doubts about his fourth win in six turns. He tentatively lines up to face Seattle on Sunday.

Montgomery (5-5) allowed one run on two hits and four walks over five innings Monday, striking out two and earning a win over Atlanta.

While he struggled with his command a bit, the only damage against Montgomery was a solo homer by Dansby Swanson in the second inning. He moved back to .500 on the year with his first win since July 27. Over his last five starts, the 28-year-old lefty has allowed just five runs through 25.1 innings (1.78 ERA) alongside a 24:11 K:BB. Montgomery will carry a 3.69 ERA into this weekend's projected start in Oakland.

Maeda was placed on the injured list with right forearm tightness Monday, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.

Maeda left his start Saturday against the Yankees with the injury, which was evidently serious enough to cost him at least one start. He's yet to be diagnosed with anything more serious than tightness, but it's unclear how much time the Twins expect him to miss.

Eovaldi didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 8-4 extra-innings win over the Rangers, allowing only one unearned run on four hits over seven innings. He struck out seven without walking a batter.

The right-hander was locked in, firing 69 of 94 pitches for strikes, but Eovaldi got denied his 11th win of the season when Matt Barnes blew the save in the ninth inning. Eovaldi is up to 10 quality starts on the year, and he'll take a 3.72 ERA and 147:26 K:BB through 145 innings into his next outing.

Allard didn't factor into the decision in Monday's 8-4 extra-innings loss to the Red Sox, giving up three runs on four hits and three walks over six innings. He struck out five.

The southpaw battled through 89 pitches (55 strikes) to deliver his fourth straight quality start and sixth of the season, but Allard exited the game on the hook for his 11th loss of the year until Texas rallied in the top of the ninth inning. The 24-year-old will carry a 4.86 ERA and 84:21 K:BB through 100 innings into his next outing.
