Ober (5-2) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out one over five innings to earn the win over the Brewers on Sunday.

Ober wasn't nearly as dominant as in his last start, which was a complete-game shutout versus the Marlins on Tuesday. He threw 46 of 77 pitches for strikes and was tagged for home runs by Garrett Mitchell and Christian Yelich, accounting for two of the three runs on the right-hander's line. Ober has allowed two runs or fewer in four of his last six outings, but he wasn't quite as sharp against a tough opponent. He's at a 3.63 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 40:17 K:BB through 57 innings over 10 starts this season. Ober's next start is projected to be on the road in Boston.

Young did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Nationals, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks with three strikeouts over 3.2 innings.

Young allowed runs in the second and fourth innings, throwing just 41 of 70 pitches for strikes despite generating 11 whiffs. It marked the 26-year-old's shortest start of the season and was a definite step back after he pitched into the sixth frame in each of his first two May outings. He'll carry a 4.25 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 22:14 K:BB across 29.2 innings into a home matchup against the Tigers next weekend.

Dzierwa was promoted to Double-A Chesapeake on Sunday, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Dzierwa will move up a level in the Orioles' minor-league farm system after posting an impressive 2.21 ERA and 0.82 WHIP with 50 strikeouts over 40.2 innings in eight starts with High-A Frederick. The 6-foot-8 southpaw was selected 58th overall in the 2025 First-Year Player Draft, and he still has plenty of time to potentially elevate to the Triple-A level this season.

Rasmussen (4-1) earned the win against the Marlins on Sunday, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks with two strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Rasmussen allowed two runs in the third inning but otherwise kept the Marlins in check despite generating just five whiffs on 93 pitches. The 30-year-old has now yielded three earned runs or fewer in eight of nine starts this season, with the lone exception being a four-run outing April 18. He'll carry a 3.19 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 45:9 K:BB across 48 frames into a road matchup against the Yankees next weekend.

GM Dana Brown said Brown (shoulder) will throw live batting practice Tuesday before potentially beginning a rehab assignment, with the Astros targeting mid-June to activate him from the injured list, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander continues to work his way back from a shoulder strain, and facing live batters appears to be the final hurdle before being cleared for game action. Brown's rehab assignment is expected to be a lengthy one with at least four starts in the minor leagues.

The Angels optioned Manoah to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

The right-hander was reinstated from the injured list May 6 and will now head to the minors after giving up eight earned runs with a 5:8 K:BB in three appearances (7.1 innings). Manoah was unscored upon in his first two outings but struggled mightily in Saturday's contest. He's being demoted to make room on the big-league roster for Grayson Rodriguez (shoulder), who is coming off the IL to start Sunday's game versus the Dodgers.

The Angels reinstated Rodrigez (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list to start Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

The Angels acquired Rodriguez from the Orioles during the offseason and he opened the campaign on the injured list with right shoulder inflammation. The 26-year-old last pitched in the big leagues in 2024 due to multiple arm issues, but he's ready to make his Halos debut after making two minor-league rehab starts. Rodriguez threw 94 pitches across 4.2 innings during his last rehab outing, so he shouldn't face significant workload limitations.

Toronto recalled Macko from Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday.

The Blue Jays needed to fill a bullpen spot with Tommy Nance (forearm) landing on the 15-day IL in a corresponding move. If Macko sees game action at any point during his call-up, he'll be making his MLB debut. The lefty has appeared in 13 games with Buffalo this season, posting a 4.50 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 19:8 K:BB over 18 innings.

Severino (2-5) allowed five runs on 10 hits and two walks while striking out seven over six innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Giants.

Casey Schmitt delivered two home runs and three RBI in this contest, accounting for the majority of the damage on Severino's line. This was a third straight loss for Severino, though it's the first one he's truly deserved in that span -- he had allowed just five runs in total over 24 innings across his previous four starts. The veteran right-hander is now at a 4.45 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 54:31 K:BB through 54.2 innings over 10 starts. He's projected for a road outing against the Angels in his next outing, which is a favorable matchup.

Rodon (0-1) allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits and three walks while striking out six over 3.2 innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Mets.

Rodon threw 55 of 88 pitches for strikes in his second big-league start this season following offseason elbow surgery. The southpaw has now given up six runs (five earned) with a 10:8 K:BB through eight innings over his two starts. His pitch count Saturday suggests he's pretty close to fully stretched out, so he'll just need to work on fine-tuning his control and efficiency moving forward. Rodon's next start is projected to be at home versus the Blue Jays.
