Bundy (6-5) took the loss during Sunday's 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Padres, allowing three runs on four hits with three strikeouts in five-plus innings.

Bundy made one mistake early that resulted in a Jurickson Profar solo home run and was in line for the win after Minnesota took the lead in the top of the sixth inning. He subsequently allowed consecutive singles before being pulled, with both runners coming around to score to give the 29-year-old the loss. Bundy targeted the strike zone early and often with 56 of 78 pitches going for strikes and nine coming on swings-and-misses in recording his fifth start without issuing a walk. Bundy carries a 5.04 ERA and 1.29 WHIP into his next start, scheduled to come over the weekend against Toronto.

Montgomery allowed four runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six in four innings in an 8-6 loss Sunday against Kansas City. He did not factor into the decision.

Montgomery cruised through the first four innings, allowing just one single and fanning six batters. He failed to record an out in the fifth inning, allowing two walks and three hits before being removed. It was the second straight start where he allowed four or more runs and failed to get through the fifth inning. In six July starts, he went 0-2 with a 4.91 ERA and six homers allowed in 29.1 innings. His next start will likely be next weekend in St. Louis.

Kirby allowed two runs on three hits, one walk and a hit batsman while striking out seven over four innings in a no-decision versus the Astros on Sunday.

Kirby gave up both runs and four of the five baserunners he permitted in the first inning. He threw 74 pitches (42 strikes) in the appearance. The rookie right-hander finishes July with five runs and 18 hits allowed in 20.1 innings, though he's already up to 73.1 major-league innings and 100 at all levels in 2022. Kirby is still expected to be in the rotation mix after the Mariners acquired Luis Castillo on Friday. It's unclear how that will look in practice -- the Mariners could go straight to a six-man rotation, piggyback Kirby with a long reliever or employ some other strategy to manage his innings over the final two months of the season.

Greinke allowed three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three in five innings in an 8-6 win Sunday over the Yankees. He did not factor into the decision.

Greinke was excellent through the first four innings, allowing just one hit and holding New York scoreless. In the fifth, three of the first four batters reached safely, and DJ LeMahieu capped off the scoring with a two-run blast. Greinke posted a 4.50 ERA and 18:7 K:BB in 24 innings across five starts in July. His next start will likely be at the end of next week against Boston.

Odorizzi allowed two hits and two walks while striking out eight in seven scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Sunday.

Odorizzi left his last start after developing a blister and yielding six runs in five innings versus the Athletics. He responded with a stellar start, his second of at least seven frames with no runs allowed in five July outings. The right-hander was denied the win when Jesse Winker took Ryne Stanek deep for a game-tying home run in the eighth. Odorizzi now has a 3.75 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 46:17 K:BB in 60 innings across 12 starts this year. He's lined up for a road start in Cleveland next weekend.

McClanahan (10-4) allowed five runs on seven hits, three walks and a hit batsman while striking out four in 4.1 innings, taking the loss Sunday versus the Guardians.

McClanahan's five runs allowed were a season high, and he matched his season low for innings pitched. The Guardians built rallies against the southpaw in the second and fifth innings, with a two-run Austin Hedges single in the fifth off reliever Ryan Thompson adding the final damage to McClanahan's line. The good news is this has been a rarity for the 25-year-old -- he's given up three or more runs only four times in 20 starts, and he'd rattled off 13 quality starts in a row entering Sunday. He owns a 2.07 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 158:23 K:BB in 122 innings, just 1.1 frames shy of his rookie-season mark. He's on track for a favorable road start in Detroit next weekend.

Castillo will start Wednesday's game against the Yankees, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Castillo was dealt from the Reds to the Mariners on Friday in a blockbuster deal, and he'll face a tough matchup at Yankee Stadium during his first start with his new team. The right-hander recorded a quality start in each of his final five appearances with the Reds, posting a 1.59 ERA and 0.97 WHIP in 34 innings during that time.

Blue Jays interim manager John Schneider said Sunday that Manoah (elbow) is line to make his next turn through the rotation, Mitch Bannon of SI.com reports.

Manoah was fortunate to avoid anything more than a bruise after he was struck in his pitching elbow by a comebacker in his last outing Friday against the Tigers. He played catch Sunday and could be cleared to throw a side session Monday or Tuesday. If all goes well during the mound session, Manoah would be available to start as soon as Thursday's series opener in Minnesota. Due to an off day Monday, the Blue Jays would have the luxury of pushing Manoah's next start until Saturday if he needs a couple extra days to heal up.

Severino (lat) will begin a throwing program Monday, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports.

According to Marakovits, Severino said the pain and soreness in his strained right lat began to subside about four or five days after he was placed on the injured list July 14, but the Yankees still kept him shut down from activity for an additional two weeks. The right-hander will be eased into his throwing program by playing catch off flat ground from 60 feet Monday, and he should gradually increase his throwing distance by the end of the week. The Yankees likely won't have a precise timeline for Severino's return from the IL until he faces hitters again, but fantasy managers probably shouldn't bank on him being activated before mid-August.

Lorenzen (shoulder) recently restarted a throwing program, and he could begin a rehab assignment soon, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Lorenzen was placed on the 15-day IL in early July, and he was able to start a throwing program about a week later. However, the right-hander subsequently had a setback that resulted in him being scratched from a rehab start. He's now back to throwing, but he'll need to progress to a rehab stint before he's able to rejoin the big club. Mid-August appears to be the earliest timeframe for his return.
