Woo was reassigned to minor-league camp by the Mariners on Friday,Corey Brock of The Athletic reports.

Woo is considered one of the better pitching prospects in the Seattle system and registered a 84:22 K:BB in 57 innings with a 4.11 ERA for short-season Arizona, Low-A Modesto and High-A Everett. He likely begins the season with Double-A Arkansas, and could be an option for the Mariners as soon as 2024.

Hancock was reassigned to minor-league camp by the Mariners on Friday, Corey Brock of The Athletic reports.

Hancock was the sixth overall pick in the 2019 MLB Draft and registered a 3.75 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP over 98.1 innings for Double-A Arkansas. The 23-year-old right-hander will likely be a part of Triple-A Tacoma's rotation this year, and could be an option for Seattle at some point this summer.

Rasmussen allowed one run (none earned) on one hit and one walk while striking out three across three innings in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Tigers.

Rasmussen was hit hard in his first outing of the exhibition season, but he rebounded his second time out. In addition to the solid line, he also ramped up to 47 pitches and should continue to stretch out across his next couple of appearances prior to the regular season. Rasmussen is coming off a breakout campaign in which he transitioned from a reliever to a full-time starter and posted a 2.84 ERA and 1.04 WHIP across 146 innings.

Kremer allowed two runs on three hits and struck out three over four innings in Friday's Grapefruit League win over the Twins.

Kremer allowed back-to-back solo home runs in the second inning. The right-hander made one appearance for Israel at the World Baseball Classic, a scoreless four-inning start. He appears to be in good form as spring training ramps up into competition for roster spots on Opening Day. Kremer should have an inside track to a place in the middle of the rotation after posting a solid 3.23 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 87:34 K:BB over 125.1 innings a year ago.

Irvin allowed two runs on six hits and no walks while striking out three over 4.1 innings in Thursday's Grapefruit League win over the Blue Jays.

The southpaw said he struggled early in the start as he was still experimenting with pitches, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports. Irvin is expected to make two more appearances in Grapefruit League play, which will serve as more dedicated preparation for regular-season action. The 29-year-old is a virtual lock for the Orioles' rotation after posting a career-best 3.98 ERA and 1.16 WHIP with a 128:36 K:BB over 181 innings with the Athletics last season.

DeGrom (side) will make his Cactus League debut Sunday against the Mariners, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

DeGrom looked good in a start against minor leaguers earlier this week, striking out five while allowing one run over two innings. He figures to be ready for three innings Sunday as he ramps up for the start of the regular season. Manager Bruce Bochy has said that deGrom will likely be on a 75-80 pitch count at the beginning of the regular season after missing so much time this spring with side tightness.

Blackburn (finger) will begin the season on the injured list, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Blackburn is dealing with a fingernail avulsion on his pitching hand. He is still able to play catch but has to wait for the injury to heal to do anything else, and evidently the Athletics anticipate that taking awhile. It's not clear at this point how long Blackburn might be sidelined.

Gray allowed two hits and one walk while striking out four over four scoreless innings in Thursday's spring start against the Dodgers.

After being scratched from his second scheduled Cactus League start due to back tightness, Gray has put together seven scoreless innings over two starts. He's yet to allow a run over nine spring innings. The 31-year-old right-hander will not be tasked with being the team's ace, as he was in 2022, which could work in his favor.

Schmidt tossed five perfect innings against Pittsburgh in a Grapefruit League game Thursday, striking out seven batters.

Schmidt needed just 50 pitches to complete five frames in the exhibition contest, throwing 36 strikes while not allowing any baserunners. He mixed in four different pitches -- including his recently developed cutter -- as he furthered his case to be part of the Yankees' rotation this season. Schmidt is expected to be in the rotation for at least the start of the campaign while Carlos Rodon (forearm) works his way back, and the 27-year-old Schmidt could stick as a starter permanently if he gets off to a strong start.

Ray has a 1.13 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 12:3 K:BB across eight innings in three Cactus League starts.

Ray worked up to 28 pitches in his most recent start Monday against the Angels, and although he's pitched to some contact (seven hits), he' s impressively limited the damage. Ray scuffled to a 12-12 record in Mariners debut campaign in 2022, yet he still generated an impressive 3.71 ERA and respectable 1.19 WHIP across 32 starts. Although the veteran southpaw's strikeout rate did drop from 2021's 32.1 percent in Toronto to 27.4 percent, early returns this spring underscore Ray's ability to miss bats at an above-average clip.
