Bradley was recalled from Triple-A Durham by the Rays on Tuesday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Bradley will rejoin the Rays' rotation Tuesday in Cincinnati, taking the spot vacated by Jeffrey Springs (elbow). The young right-hander impressed in his major-league debut versus the Red Sox last week, striking out eight while yielding three runs over five frames. With Springs expected to miss multiple months, Bradley will have an opportunity to establish himself as a long-term fixture in the major-league rotation.

Springs was placed on the 15-day injured list by the Rays on Tuesday with a left elbow flexor strain, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

It was already known that Springs was likely to miss at least a couple months of action, but he's now officially on the IL and we finally have a specific diagnosis. The Rays have not publicly laid out a rehab plan for the left-hander, but he'll likely be shut down for a while before slowly ramping up a throwing program. Taj Bradley is taking Springs' spot in Tampa Bay's rotation.

Severino (lat) will throw live batting practice Thursday, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.

It will be his first time facing hitters since he was diagnosed with a lat strain in late March. A rehab assignment for Severino should be just around the corner. The right-hander figures to need multiple rehab starts before rejoining the Yankees' rotation but could conceivably be back by early May.

Miller will be promoted by the Athletics and could make his major-league debut as soon as Wednesday against the Cubs, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Miller struck out 11 over five no-hit innings in his last start with Triple-A Las Vegas and has a 19:0 K:0 across 8.2 frames between Las Vegas and Double-A Midland this season. The 24-year-old has only 28.2 pro innings under his belt, having missed most of last season with a shoulder injury. Miller is healthy now, though, and has plenty of upside with a nasty slider and fastball that hits triple digits regularly. Oakland will surely be careful with his workload, but he warrants a speculative add.

Gausman (1-2) took the loss against the Astros on Monday, allowing eight runs (seven earned) on seven hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out five.

Gausman served up two-run doubles to Jose Abreu and Corey Julks before Jake Meyers crushed a three-run homer to give Houston a 7-0 lead in the first inning. The veteran right-hander was able to get out of the inning, but he dug Toronto too big of a hole, as Houston cruised to victory behind Cristian Javier. After allowing just three runs and posting a 25:3 K:BB over his first three outings, Gausman struggled mightily Monday, but he'll look to get back on track during his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to unfold during the Blue Jays' upcoming three-game road set versus the Yankees.

Lyles (0-3) took the loss Monday, allowing four runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks over eight innings during a 4-0 loss to the Rangers. He struck out three.

Lyles served up a one-out, three-run homer to Josh Jung in the first, but all three runs were unearned due to back-to-back errors to start the game. The lone earned run on Lyles' ledger came in the third via a solo shot from Marcus Semien. Despite the rocky start, Lyles was able to settle down and got through a season-high eight frames against a good Rangers offense. Through four outings (25.1 innings), Lyles sports a 4.26 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP with a 18:7 K:BB.

Glasnow (oblique) is projected to make his season debut in mid-May, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Glasnow started throwing bullpen sessions a week ago and continues to progress well. We're seven weeks into an initial 6-to-8 week timetable for Glasnow, so it certainly appears the big right-hander's recovery will exceed that timeframe. Nevertheless, Glasnow appears to be making steady progress, and he should be ready to face hitters soon.

Crawford allowed one hit and struck out five over 6.1 scoreless relief innings in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Angels.

The game was delayed after 2.2 innings, necessitating a heavy bullpen day for both teams. As it was, Crawford's length would likely have been needed on a perfect day after Brayan Bello's rocky start (five runs, eight hits, 2.2 IP). The 19 outs recorded by Crawford represented a longer performance than all but one Boston start -- Garrett Whitlock's seven-inning gem Sunday. Given the state of the rotation, which has not been able to go deep into games, Crawford figures to be part of the long-relief crew for now but could eventually head back to Triple-A Worcester as a starter.

Javier (2-0) allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out five across five innings to earn the win Monday against the Blue Jays.

Javier was handed a 7-0 lead after one inning, but he still needed 97 pitches to complete five innings of work. The only damage against him came on a solo home run by Matt Chapman in the fourth inning, and he otherwise relied primarily on strikeouts and flyouts to complete his outing. Javier has a fine 3.68 ERA through four starts, though he's only accrued 22 innings in that span while maintaining a mediocre 20.9 percent strikeout rate.

Dunning (1-0) allowed one hit and one walk while striking out five over 4.1 innings to pick up the win over Kansas City on Monday.

Dunning came in after Jacob deGrom was removed from the game with right wrist soreness. Like he's done all season, Dunning gave the Rangers strong work and length out of the bullpen. The right-hander has yet to allow a run over 15.1 innings (six appearances). After striking out just one batter over his first 7.1 frames, Dunning has eight punch-outs over the last eight innings.
