Lyles (0-11) took the loss Tuesday, allowing five runs on five hits and three walks over six innings against Cincinnati. He struck out four.

Lyles struggled to find the zone all evening, as just 51 of his 94 pitches went for strikes. All five runs allowed came in the second inning, as the Reds were able to bat around and took a lead they would not relinquish. Although Lyles did not allow a home run in the outing, he has been especially victimized by them all season, giving up two or more homers in seven of his 13 starts. His next scheduled start is slated for Monday against the Tigers.

Kremer (7-3) earned the win Tuesday, allowing two runs on eight hits over six innings against the Blue Jays. He struck out six.

It was a solid bounce-back effort from Kremer after he allowed six runs in a loss to Milwaukee in his last outing. While the 27-year-old Kremer's record is impressive, he still sports a mediocre 4.74 ERA with a 1.43 WHIP and 65:19 K:BB through 14 starts (76 innings) this season. His 47 percent hard-hit rate also ranks in the bottom ninth percentile in the league. Still, Kremer has provided some stability in the Orioles' rotation. He's currently in line to face the Cubs on the road this weekend.

Bassitt (7-5) took the loss Tuesday, allowing eight runs on 11 hits and a walk over three innings against Baltimore. He struck out five.

All of the damage against Bassitt came via the home-run ball -- a pair of two-run shots before Gunnar Henderson blasted a grand slam in the third inning. It was a tough night for the 34-year-old Bassitt, who allowed just two runs in 15.2 innings over his previous two outings. His ERA is now up to 4.02 to go with a 1.13 WHIP and 75:2 K:BB through 14 starts (85 innings) this season. Bassitt is currently lined up for a tough road matchup against the Rangers in his next outing.

Olson's scheduled start versus Atlanta on Tuesday was postponed due to inclement weather, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

Olson was scheduled to square off against Spencer Strider, but the poor weather in Detroit won't allows that to happen Tuesday. The game will be made up Wednesday with the two teams playing a straight doubleheader, and it's likely both will be involved in one of the two contests.

Maeda (triceps) is slated to make another rehab start Friday with Triple-A St. Paul, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

It will be his fourth rehab start, and possibly his final one. Out since late April due to a right triceps strain, Maeda has scattered two runs over nine innings so far with St. Paul. He's racked up 13 strikeouts against only one walk while working through some mechanical misalignments that stem back to his initial return from Tommy John surgery.

Urquidy (shoulder) said Tuesday that he thinks he could begin throwing off a mound by this weekend, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Urquidy began throwing on flat ground a couple weeks ago and is almost ready to test things out from the bump. The veteran hurler is coming back from right shoulder inflammation, an injury which landed him on the IL at the beginning of May.

Texas optioned Ragans to Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Ragans yielded four runs -- three earned -- over just 1.2 innings of relief in Monday night's loss to the Angels. He carries a 5.92 ERA in 17 major-league appearances this year.

Rodriguez (finger) has been increasing the intensity of his flat-ground throwing sessions, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Working his way back from a ruptured A4 pulley in his left index finger, Rodriguez began a throwing program a week ago and has been ramping things up slowly but surely. He hasn't been cleared for mound work yet, but that would seem to be around the corner. The left-hander could rejoin the Tigers' rotation sometime around the beginning of July, although that's a rough timetable.

Faedo (finger) resumed a throwing program Tuesday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

A week ago, Faedo underwent a procedure to remove a fingernail on the middle digit of his right hand. He did some plyometric exercises and light tossing Monday before progressing to playing catch Tuesday. The right-hander will continue to ramp things up and might need a short rehab assignment before rejoining the Tigers' rotation.

Skubal's (elbow) rehab assignment was transferred to Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday, Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic reports.

Skubal made two appearances with High-A West Michigan, throwing five scoreless innings while striking out seven batters and yielding three hits. Skubal's next start will come on Thursday in Toledo, and he remains on track to return to Detroit before the end of June.
