Olson (1-2) earned the win Saturday over the Twins. He allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out nine over 5.1 innings.

The lone blemish on Olson's line was a Carlos Correa solo home run in the sixth inning. The win was Olson's first of the year, coming in his fifth major-league appearance. He's kept opponents to two runs or fewer in three of those outings. For the season, he has a 4.74 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 28:6 K:BB over 24.2 innings. Those strong strikeout and walk numbers bode well for future success. The rookie right-hander is projected for a challenging road start at Texas next week. With Matt Manning (foot) and Tarik Skubal (elbow) nearing returns withing the next couple of weeks, it's unclear if Olson has shown enough to stay in the major-league rotation into July.

Paxton (knee) believes he'll be able to make his next scheduled start next week, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Paxton told reporters that he also felt the soreness in his knee in his last start against Minnesota. He exited the start after giving up one run over four innings with three strikeouts and one walk against the White Sox on Saturday. The left-hander has dealt with injuries for the overwhelming majority of his career, and Boston will likely take every precaution before deeming him ready to go in that next outing. For now, the southpaw should be considered day-to-day.

Paxton was removed from Saturday's game against the White Sox due to right knee soreness, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

The severity of Paxton's injury remains unclear, but losing him would be a huge blow to a Red Sox rotation that has already been plagued with injuries. The team will take a look at Paxton and should provide more information before long, but fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for the time being.

Urquidy (shoulder) threw a 25-pitch bullpen session Saturday, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Everything seemed to go well for Urquidy, who has been on the injured list since the beginning of May with right shoulder inflammation. The plan is for Urquidy to throw two more bullpens next week before moving on to facing hitters. The 28-year-old righty holds a 5.20 ERA and 1.55 WHIP through 27.2 innings this season and figures to return shortly after the All-Star break if all goes well from here.

Rodriguez (finger) felt "fantastic" following his live batting practice session Saturday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Rodriguez threw about 50 pitches over three simulated innings during Saturday's session, per Chris McCosky of The Detroit News. There didn't seem to be any issues with Rodriguez's performance, so now the next step figures to be a rehab assignment before potentially returning to Detroit's rotation in early July.

McClanahan (back) threw from flat ground with trainers Saturday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Topkin further reported that the five-minute session seemed to go well, as McClanahan exchanged fistbumps and handshakes with the trainers as he walked off the field. McClanahan was forced to exit his start Thursday prematurely, though the initial indications suggest he avoided a serious issue.

Bello introduced a cutter during Friday's 3-1 win over the White Sox, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports. "I started working on the pitch this week," Bello said about the pitch he threw nine times.

Bello said he hadn't been able to control his slider the way he wanted to, so he tried out the cutter for the first time in a game situation. The 24-year-old right-hander adds the cutter to an arsenal that includes a four-seam and two-seam fastball along with a changeup and slider. Since allowing five runs over 2.2. innings in his first start of the season, Bello has been Boston's most consistent starter, posting a 2.70 ERA over 11 outings while not allowing more than three earned runs.

Williams is scheduled to make his next start Tuesday versus the Royals in Kansas City.

As anticipated, Williams will be sticking around for another turn through the rotation after he made his highly anticipated MLB debut this past Wednesday against the Athletics. Though he fell short of a quality start in the outing, he acquitted himself well enough by striking out four over 5.2 innings while allowing four earned runs on four hits and three walks. Cleveland will have some tough decisions to make with its rotation when Cal Quantrill (shoulder) returns from the 15-day injured list, but the Guardians should be willing to make room for Williams as long as his performance warrants sticking around with the big club.

Bassitt didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 5-4 loss to the A's, giving up four runs on five hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out four.

Oakland jumped on the right-hander for three runs in the top of the first inning, but Bassitt shook it off and left the game after 83 pitches (53 strikes) with the score tied 4-4. Even so, it's the third straight start in which he hasn't worked more than five innings, a stretch in which he's been tagged for 15 earned runs and four homers in only 11.2 frames. Bassitt will try to get back on track in his next outing, likely to come at home next week against the Giants.

Kaprielian didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 5-4 win over the Blue Jays, giving up four runs on six hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out eight.

The eight Ks were a season high for the right-hander and came on the strength of 33 called or swinging strikes among his 95 pitches. Kaprielian has been fairly effective since rejoining the A's rotation in mid-May, posting a 4.00 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 39:17 K:BB through 45 innings over eight starts. He'll likely next take the mound at home next week against the Yankees.
