Lopez (4-5) picked up the win Friday, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over six innings in an 8-1 victory over the Orioles. He struck out six.

The first pitch was delayed by nearly 90 minutes due to rain, but once Lopez got on the mound he was dialed in, firing 66 of 100 pitches for strikes en route to his fourth quality start in his last five outings and 10th of the year. The right-hander also won his first game in June on the last day of the month, and he's posted a 4.46 ERA over his last six starts despite a 1.18 WHIP and 45:10 K:BB through 36.1 innings. He'll look to stay on track in his last start before the All-Star break, which is likely to come at home next weekend against the Royals.

Quantrill (2-5) took the loss Friday, allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks over 3.1 innings against the Cubs. He struck out one.

Quantrill had been dealing with shoulder inflammation but was activated from the 15-day injured list ahead of Friday's contest and made his first MLB start since May 30. The right-hander got into trouble the second time through the order and was eventually tagged for six runs, raising his ERA to 6.18 through 12 appearances. He has now allowed at least six runs in three straight starts and boasts a horrendous 6:7 K:BB during that stretch. It's encouraging to see Quantrill back in the big leagues, but he's not a strong fantasy option at the moment.

McClanahan was pulled after three innings in Friday's start against the Mariners after his back flared up, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

McClanahan allowed four earned runs on five hits and three walks, and the Rays initially claimed the quick hook was a result of ineffectiveness rather than injury. However, after the game, manager Kevin Cash admitted that McClanahan's back became an issue. Further testing will be done, but Cash noted that a stint on the injured list is a possibility.

Gray (6-4) allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks over six innings Friday, striking out four and taking a loss against Houston.

Gray gave up one run through four frames before the Astros plated four total runs in the fifth and sixth innings. After a stretch of six straight outings allowing fewer than two runs, he's been charged with 12 runs over 13.1 frames in his last three appearances. The 31-year-old righty still owns a solid 3.21 ERA with a 73:27 K:BB through 15 starts. Gray is currently lined up to start in Boston next week.

Marsh (0-1) allowed five runs on six hits and four walks while striking out five over four-plus innings to take the loss Friday versus the Dodgers.

Marsh drew a tough assignment for his debut, and it took Mookie Betts just five pitches to welcome the right-hander to the majors with a homer. Betts also went yard in the third inning and added an RBI single in the fourth after Marsh ran into more trouble. He had a combined 4.62 ERA and 1.52 WHIP over 62.1 innings between Double-A Northwest Arkansas and Triple-A Omaha prior to his debut, and it's likely Marsh will be heading back to the minors once Jordan Lyles (illness) is healthy.

Miller left Friday's start against the Rays with a blister on his right middle finger.

Miller went 3.1 innings and allowed two runs before being removed due to the blister. The right-hander should be considered day-to-day, but he has a chance to make his next scheduled start before the All-Star break.

Lorenzen (2-6) allowed five runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over five innings to take the loss Friday versus the Rockies.

Lorenzen had three good starts and three bad ones in June, with his last outing of the month falling in the latter category. He's now lost four of his last eight starts, and he took no-decisions in the other four in that span. For the season, the right-hander has a 4.28 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 62:20 K:BB through 82 innings across 14 starts. Lorenzen is projected for a favorable home start versus the Athletics next week.

Miller left Friday's start against Tampa Bay with an apparent finger injury, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports. He allowed two runs on one hit and one walk in 3.1 innings with six strikeouts before leaving.

Miller was visited by trainers early in the fourth inning to check on an issue with a finger on his right (pitching) hand, and after he allowed a two-run homer to Randy Arozarena, he was removed from the game. Matt Brash has taken over on the mound.

Severino's scheduled start against the Cardinals on Friday has been postponed due to inclement weather, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Because of the rain in St. Louis, the Yankees and Cardinals will play a doubleheader Saturday, with the first game starting at 11:15 CST. Severino and Matthew Liberatore -- the two scheduled starters for Friday's contest -- will likely pitch in one of the two games of the twin bill instead.

The Rangers traded Ragans and Roni Cabrera to the Royals on Friday in exchange for Aroldis Chapman.

Ragans was a first-round pick (30th overall) in the 2016 MLB Draft, but he has posted an underwhelming 5.32 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 51:30 K:BB in 64.1 career major-league innings after undergoing two Tommy John surgeries. The 25-year-old left-hander saw his velocity spike by 3-4 mph this spring, but as yet his command isn't big-league caliber. Ragans will report to the Royals' Triple-A affiliate in Omaha.
