  • Rockies' Justin Lawrence: Recalled by Rockies

Lawrence was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday, Danielle Allentuck of The Denver Gazette reports.

Lawrence has been in the minors since the end of July, but he'll rejoin the Rockies' bullpen after Alex Colome (forearm) was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday. Over 16 appearances in the majors this year, Lawrence has posted a 5.60 ERA and 1.87 WHIP in 17.2 innings.

  • Alex Colome RP | CHW

Rockies' Alex Colome: Placed on injured list

Colome was placed on the 15-day injured list with right lateral epicondylitis Saturday, Danielle Allentuck of The Denver Gazette reports.

Colome hasn't been very effective recently, allowing seven runs on six hits and three walks while failing to record a strikeout in 1.2 innings over his last three appearances. It's possible that his forearm injury contributed to his struggles, and he'll be forced to miss at least two weeks due to the injury. A timetable for his return isn't yet clear, but Justin Lawrence was called up to take his place in the bullpen.

  • Dodgers' Brusdar Graterol: Begins rehab with scoreless frame

Graterol (shoulder) issued one walk and struck out one batter in a scoreless inning for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.

Graterol's first game action in just over a month went well, as he faced the minimum on 14 pitches. He walked the first batter he saw before inducing a double play and finishing the frame with a strikeout. Graterol will likely need a few more rehab appearances before returning to the big club.

  • Blake Treinen RP | LAD

Dodgers' Blake Treinen: Begins rehab with scoreless inning

Treinen (shoulder) struck out one batter in a perfect inning for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday.

This was Treinen's first game action since April 14, and he needed just nine pitches to make it through an easy inning. According to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic, the right-hander was at 95-96 mph on the radar gun. Treinen will likely need to make at least a few more rehab appearances before returning to the Dodgers.

  • Seth Martinez RP | BOS

Astros' Seth Martinez: Optioned to Triple-A

Martinez was optioned to Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday.

Martinez was productive over the first half of the season but has had inconsistent results over the last month. The right-hander posted a 7.27 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in 8.2 innings over his last seven appearances and will head to the minors as part of a move to make room for Lance McCullers on the active roster.

  • Zach Logue RP | LAD

Athletics' Zach Logue: Called up ahead of start

Logue was recalled as expected Saturday ahead of his scheduled start against the Astros.

Logue, a 26-year-old lefty, hasn't been particularly impressive in his first taste of big-league action this year, posting a 4.79 ERA in seven starts and one relief appearance. He faces a tough matchup Saturday if he wants to lower that figure, though his 6.29 ERA in 14 starts for Triple-A Las Vegas doesn't give much reason to believe that he'll be able to handle one of the league's best lineups.

  • Ryan Pressly RP | CHC

Astros' Ryan Pressly: Dealing with neck stiffness

Pressly wasn't available to pitch Friday against Oakland due to a stiff neck, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Pressly struck out five in two scoreless innings over two relief appearances Tuesday and Wednesday, but he's now dealing with a neck injury. It's not yet clear whether he'll be available for Saturday's matchup, but Hector Neris picked up the save in Pressly's absence Friday, and the team also has Rafael Montero and Will Smith available to fill in as closing options if needed.

  • Josh Staumont RP | CIN

Royals' Josh Staumont: Falls apart Friday

Staumont (3-2) allowed five runs on four hits and a walk without recording an out, taking the loss Friday versus the Dodgers.

Staumont was responsible for the entirety of the Dodgers' five-run rally in the seventh inning, including the two runners he left on base that Luke Weaver couldn't prevent from scoring. Inconsistency has been a problem for Staumont for the better part of two months, which includes an absence due to a neck injury. The right-hander now has a 5.77 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 41:25 K:BB through 34.1 innings. He's added three saves and five holds, but it seems unlikely he'll get many high-leverage looks since he hasn't gone more than two outings in a row without allowing a run since early June.

  • Sam Moll RP | CIN

Athletics' Sam Moll: Falls apart in first loss

Moll (2-1) took the loss against the Astros on Friday, allowing four earned runs on three hits and a walk without recording an out.

Moll's meltdown was highly atypical, considering he'd come into the night with a 2.02 ERA and had allowed more than one earned run just once in 43 appearances. However, the left-hander simply couldn't find his groove Friday after entering with Yuli Gurriel on first, putting Yordan Alvarez and Alex Bregman on via a single and a walk, respectively, before conceding a grand slam to Kyle Tucker. Moll's significant stumble aside, he's been a viable fantasy asset in formats that count holds, having garnered 12 of them alongside his pair of wins and a 10.1 K/9.

  • Andres Munoz RP | SEA

Mariners' Andres Munoz: In midst of dominant stretch

Munoz, who garnered his 16th hold in a win over the Rangers on Friday, has allowed just one hit and boasts a 12:3 K:BB across the 5.2 scoreless innings covering his last five appearances.

Munoz also has three holds and a save during that span, giving fantasy managers in formats that value relievers a significant boost overall. The fireballing right-hander has a 2.72 ERA and 0.93 WHIP for the season, and although Paul Sewald is doing a solid job in the closer's role for the time being, Munoz certainly has the stuff to step into the highest-leverage situations if called upon.
