Blake Treinen RP | LAD
Dodgers' Blake Treinen: Lands on 60-day IL
Treinen was placed on the 60-day injured list by the Dodgers on Thursday as he recovers from right labrum and rotator cuff surgery.
The move frees up a 40-man roster spot. Treinen is hoping to make it back late in the 2023 season after going under the knife in November, but there's a good chance he'll be out until 2024.

J.P. Feyereisen RP | LAD
Dodgers' J.P. Feyereisen: Placed on 60-day IL
Feyereisen was placed on the 60-day injured list by the Dodgers on Thursday as he recovers from right rotator cuff and labrum surgery.
The move frees up a spot on the 40-man roster. Feyereisen was designated for assignment by the Rays in December after it was discovered that he needed surgery, and he was subsequently traded to the Dodgers. He'll be sidelined at least until the second half of the 2023 campaign.

Cole Waites RP | DET
Giants' Cole Waites: MRI shows no major damage
Waites was cleared of any tendon damage in his right lat on Wednesday, Evan Webeck of the San Jose Mercury News reports.
Waites strained his right lat just before he arrived at Giants camp, but an MRI taken this week showed significant healing. He is expected to pick up a baseball again within a couple of weeks, though the 24-year-old can probably already be ruled out for a spot in the Giants' active Opening Day bullpen.

Daniel Hudson RP | LAD
Dodgers' Daniel Hudson: To throw bullpen Friday
Hudson (knee/ankle) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Friday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Hudson missed the majority of the 2022 season due to a left ACL tear and then came into spring training with a bit of right ankle tendinitis, but the veteran reliever is optimistic he'll be ready for Opening Day. He could play a large role in the late innings for Los Angeles, including some save chances, if his health cooperates.

Ron Marinaccio RP | CIN
Yankees' Ron Marinaccio: Facing hitters Tuesday
Marinaccio (shin) will face hitters Tuesday and believes he's on track to be ready for Opening Day, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.
Marinaccio was unavailable for the playoffs last season because of a stress reaction in his right shin. He's being eased into things this spring, but it sounds as though he should be fine for Opening Day, barring any setbacks. The right-hander posted a 2.05 ERA over 40 relief appearances for the Yankees in 2022.

Dillon Tate RP | TOR
Orioles' Dillon Tate: To miss first month of season
Tate will be sidelined for the first month of the season due to a flexor strain he suffered in November, Dan Connolly of The Athletic reports.
It hasn't been a good day for the Orioles' bullpen with Felix Bautista (shoulder/knee) also injured. The hope is that Tate will be ready to return around late April/early May, but flexor strains can linger and sometimes lead to more serious injuries. Tate posted a 3.05 ERA over 67 appearances for the O's last season.

DL Hall RP | MIL
Orioles' DL Hall: Nursing back issue
Hall will have a delayed start to spring training due to a lumbar injury, Dan Connolly of The Athletic reports.
Hall is still expected to be in the mix for a spot on the Opening Day roster, but the injury obviously doesn't help his chances. The hard-throwing lefty is expected to be used as a starter this spring but might also be an option for the bullpen.
-
Felix Bautista RP | BAL
Orioles' Felix Bautista: Slowed by knee, shoulder injuries
Bautista will have a delayed start to spring training while recovering from knee and shoulder injuries, Dan Connolly of The Athletic reports.
Bautista ended last season on the injured list with left knee soreness. He also missed a little time in September with what the Orioles referred to at the time simply as arm fatigue, but it's fair to assume now that it was shoulder related. The team expects Bautista to pitch in some Grapefruit League games and think he has a chance to be ready for Opening Day, but this is certainly not the news you want to hear at the beginning of camp. With Dillon Tate (elbow) also sidelined, Mychal Givens might see some save chances if Bautista misses time.

Colby White RP | NYY
Rays' Colby White: Throws bullpen session
White (elbow) threw his fourth bullpen session Wednesday since undergoing Tommy John surgery, RaysRadio.mlb.com reports.
White underwent Tommy John surgery last April and is hoping to be game-ready by June. He was added to the Rays' 40-man roster over the offseason and is a good bet to make his major-league debut at some point in 2023.

Andrew Kittredge RP | BAL
Rays' Andrew Kittredge: Throwing from 105 feet
Kittredge (elbow) expanded his throwing program to 105 feet Thursday, RaysRadio.mlb.com reports.
Kittredge started playing catch several months ago as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery, and he's been going through pitchers' fielding practice with his teammates at the start of camp. He hopes to be ready to rejoin the Rays' bullpen at some point after the All-Star break.
