The Padres non-tendered Cruz on Friday.

Cruz gave up two runs over 3.2 innings during his brief stint with the Padres in April, but most of his time was spent at Triple-A El Paso, where he put up a 4.75 ERA and 1.58 WHIP over 83.1 innings. He'll now have a chance to join another organization that can offer a clearer path back to the majors, though he likely wouldn't serve as anything more than a middle reliever.

Festa agreed to a one-year, $1 million contract with the Guardians on Friday to avoid arbitration, Paul Hoynes of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Festa pitched a career-high 54.2 innings in 2025 while also maintaining a solid 1.08 WHIP with a 56:15 K:BB. He also racked up 12 holds and should line up for a high-leverage role out of the bullpen once again in 2026.

The Cardinals did not tender King a contract for 2026 on Friday, making him a free agent.

King posted a 2.85 ERA for St. Louis in 2024 and appeared poised for a high-leverage role last season, but he failed to take advantage and finished 2025 with a 4.66 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 28:14 K:BB over 48.1 innings.

Atlanta non-tendered Ragsdale on Friday.

Ragsdale started the 2025 season as a member of San Francisco's organization before spending time with Baltimore and Atlanta. Across three teams in Triple-A, he went 7-8 across 19 starts (and 26 games) and posted a 5.22 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 77:48 K:BB across 89.2 innings. Ragsdale will look to join a team in need of right-handed depth on the pitching staff, and while he's spent most of his time in the minors as a starter, he would likely be utilized out of the bullpen in the majors.

The White Sox did not tender Booser a contract for 2026 on Friday.

Booser was acquired from the Red Sox last winter and made 39 appearances for the White Sox in 2025, finishing with a 5.52 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 35:19 K:BB over 31 innings.

The Mets non-tendered Young on Friday.

Young made the Mets' Opening Day roster, but his 2025 season was cut short after undergoing Tommy John Surgery in May. If he does manage to sign with a team, he's unlikely to be healthy enough to contribute until at least the second half of the 2026 campaign.

De Los Santos signed a one-year contract with the Astros on Friday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

De Los Santos put up a 4.03 ERA and 1.25 WHIP over 22.1 innings after signing with the Astros in August, and his new deal will ensure he remains in the organization for the start of the 2026 campaign -- likely serving as a middle reliever.

The Mets non-tendered Castillo on Friday.

Just two weeks after claiming Castillo off waivers from Baltimore, the Mets will now send him into free agency. The 29-year-old southpaw posted a 3.94 ERA and 1.69 WHIP across 32 innings between four different teams in 2025. He'll now have an opportunity to pick where he begins the 2026 campaign, though he may have to settle for a minor-league deal.

The Rangers non-tendered Webb on Friday.

Webb signed a one-year deal with the Rangers in December after spending the 2024 campaign with the Orioles, but the 32-year-old right-hander will now be on the lookout for a team in need of bullpen depth. He finished the 2025 regular season with seven holds along with a 3.00 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 58:19 K:BB across 66 innings.

The Rangers non-tendered Sborz on Friday.

Sborz started the 2025 season on the 60-day injured list after undergoing surgery on his right shoulder in November of 2024. He was able to begin a rehab stint in July but was unable to progress enough in his recovery to see major-league action. Sborz will now enter free agency and will look to sign with a team in need of right-handed depth out of the bullpen.
