The Rockies optioned Pint to Triple-A Albuquerque on Thursday.

Pint will head back to the minors after surrendering four earned runs in just two-thirds of an inning Wednesday against Arizona. He owns a 3.10 ERA through 29 frames in Triple-A and could still be an option to return to Colorado's bullpen later in the season, but he'll likely need to turn in some positive results in the minors first.

Brasier (calf) is likely to be activated from the 60-day injured list Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Brasier last pitched for the Dodgers on April 27, and he was placed on the IL two days later due to a right calf strain. He's looked great since beginning a minor-league rehab assignment in late July, pitching eight scoreless innings and posting a 12:1 K:BB over eight appearances. Brasier may be held to lower-leverage situations upon his return to the majors in order to shake off any rust, but he could rise up the bullpen pecking order if he fares well.

Snider (2-2) took the extra-inning loss against the Tigers on Wednesday, allowing an unearned run on a hit and a walk while recording one strikeout over one-third of an inning.

Snider allowed a game-winning double to pinch hitter Akil Baddoo just three batters into his 10th-inning stint on the mound. The right-hander hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 10 appearances, although he's invited some trouble by surrendering at least one hit in six of those outings and issuing a free pass in three of them as well. Nevertheless, Snider's impressive swing-and-miss stuff seems to get him out of jams more often than not, as he boasts a 10.1 K/9 and 1.13 ERA across 24 innings this season.

Paredes (forearm) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Wisconsin on Friday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Paredes has been out since early July due to right forearm tendinitis but is ready for game action after completing a throwing progression. The reliever is on the 60-day injured list and is not eligible for activation until early September, so his rehab assignment will last multiple weeks.

Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Thursday that Reid-Foley's rehab assignment has been paused as he works on strengthening his right shoulder, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

Reid-Foley's shoulder has been deemed structurally sound, and the Mets have no plans to send him in for any testing. However, he has been tagged for seven runs and has walked eight over 4.2 rehab innings, so the Mets want him to build up some arm strength before he's cleared to pitch in games again. Reid-Foley has been out since late June due a shoulder impingement, and he now seems unlikely to return before September.

Dominguez walked one and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday to record his third save of the season, and second with the Orioles, in a 4-1 win over the Nationals.

Craig Kimbrel last pitched Sunday, but it was still Dominguez that manager Brandon Hyde turned to in the ninth Wednesday to protect a three-run lead. There's been no official word that Kimbrel is out as Baltimore's closer, but his hold on the job is looking tenuous at the moment. Since coming over from the Phillies, Dominguez has produced an impressive 1.00 ERA, 0.78 WHIP and 10:3 K:BB through nine innings, and he's picked up the last two saves for the O's.

Shreve elected free agency Wednesday.

Shreve cleared waivers after being removed from the Rockies' 40-man roster, but he'll look for another gig elsewhere rather than accepting an outright assignment to Triple-A Albuquerque. The lefty reliever made just one appearance for Colorado, tossing a scoreless frame.

Holmes (1-0) picked up the win over the Giants on Wednesday, allowing two runs on eight hits and one walk over seven innings while striking out six.

Holmes didn't get off to the start he'd hoped for, surrendering a leadoff home run to Tyler Fitzgerald on the first pitch he threw before also allowing a single in the opening frame. However, the right-hander recovered nicely, keeping the Giants off the board before allowing an RBI single in the seventh. It marked Holmes' first win on the campaign, and he's now recorded at least six strikeouts in three of his last four starts. On the downside, he's also allowed multiple runs in three consecutive outings and has coughed up a long ball in four straight games.

Yates struck out one in a perfect 10th inning Wednesday to record his 21st save of the season in a 9-7 win over the Red Sox.

The veteran right-hander needed only nine pitches (seven strikes) to carve up the heart of the Boston order. Yates still has yet to blow a save chance in 2024, and since the beginning of July he's delivered a stellar 1.13 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 25:6 K:BB through 16 innings.

Williams picked up the save over the Dodgers on Wednesday, pitching a perfect ninth inning while striking out one.

Williams entered the contest with a one-run lead in the ninth and needed only seven pitches to retire the side and secure his second save of the season. The right-hander has now pitched perfect innings in each of his first two save appearances, posting a 4:0 K:BB over that span. Williams has also walked just one batter in his first five outings and has quickly re-established himself as Milwaukee's closer for the stretch run.
