The Twins outrighted Blewett to Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday.

Blewett was removed from the 40-man roster after making just one appearance for the Twins, but he's cleared waivers and will stick around in the organization. The 28-year-old has put up a 3.66 ERA and 52:17 K:BB over 51.2 frames at St. Paul in 2024.

The Marlins recalled Ramirez from Triple-A Jacksonville on Thursday.

Ramirez was sent down last week after being touched up for seven runs (six earned) without recording an out in his last appearance. He'll get another shot as the roster replacement for Anthony Bender (shoulder), who landed on the 15-day injured list Friday.

The Marlins placed Bender on the 15-day injured list Thursday with a right shoulder impingement.

Bender is dealing with an injury in the shoulder of his throwing arm and will be sidelined until at least Aug. 27. The 29-year-old will be replaced on the active roster by Emmanuel Ramirez. Prior to suffering the injury, Bender posted a 4.00 ERA across 45.0 innings for the Marlins.

Yates (4-2) took the loss against the Twins on Thursday, allowing one run on two walks over one inning while striking out one.

Yates entered the game with the score tied in the top of the ninth and retired the first batter before surrendering back-to-back walks. The right-hander would then see a run come home after allowing both runners to advance on a wild pitch, followed by a sacrifice fly from Carlos Santana. It was only the second loss of the season for Yates, with the previous one coming back on June 18 against the Mets. The earned run was also the first that's been charged to the veteran this month, while Thursday's appearance was his first in 2024 in which he issued multiple walks.

Duran picked up the save in Thursday's win over the Rangers, striking out two in a perfect ninth inning.

Duran entered the contest with a one-run lead in the bottom of the ninth and retired the first two batters on strikes before getting Josh Smith to ground out for his 17th save of the season. The right-hander has allowed only one run this month over five appearances, posting a 7:0 K:BB over that stretch while recording two saves. He's also recorded at least two strikeouts in three of his last six outings.

Hudson (6-2) blew a save and took the loss against the Brewers on Thursday, allowing three runs on three hits and one walk over two-thirds of an inning.

Los Angeles carried a one-run lead into the eighth inning, and manager Dave Roberts turned to Hudson -- who had six saves over his previous 12 outings entering Thursday -- to face the heart of Milwaukee's order. The strategy didn't pay off, as Hudson was tagged for three runs on a double, two singles and a walk. Though the righty reliever has been excellent overall this season, he's given up at least one earned run in three of his past four appearances. Despite his deployment in the eighth frame Thursday, Hudson is likely to still see some save chances moving forward; however, Roberts has gone with more of a committee approach in recent weeks, so Hudson may not get the same volume of save opportunities as the league's more locked-in closers.

Williams earned a save against the Dodgers on Thursday, striking out two batters in a perfect ninth inning.

Williams was called upon to close the door on the Dodgers for the second straight day, and he again succeeded in impressive fashion. On Wednesday, he retired Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman in order, and he bested Ohtani and Betts -- both on strikeouts -- again Thursday. Williams has been as brilliant as ever since returning from a back injury July 28, recording three saves while allowing just one run and posting an 11:1 K:BB over six innings spanning six appearances.

The Athletics outrighted Reyes to Triple-A Las Vegas on Friday.

After getting called up from Triple-A on July 30, Reyes gave up three runs (two earned) over four innings across three appearances out of the Oakland bullpen before he was designated for assignment last week. The 31-year-old will stick around in the organization after clearing waivers.

Miller (6-7) tossed 1.1 scoreless innings of relief to earn the win in Thursday's 2-1 victory over the Mariners. He struck out one.

Miller got Jorge Polanco to fly out to end the top of the seventh inning, then pitched a clean eighth inning to ultimately pick up the win out of the bullpen. The veteran righty has had a few meltdowns this season, which has led to an ugly 5.36 ERA overall, but the Tigers still seem to trust him in high-leverage spots. That role gives Miller some value in deeper fantasy formats, though his volatility has made him hard an unreliable option.

The Twins recalled Henriquez from Triple-A St. Paul on Thursday.

Henriquez appeared in six games for St. Paul since being optioned July 24, posting a 2.61 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 13:4 K:BB across 10.1 innings. He hasn't allowed a run across three major-league outings this season, and he should fill a low-leverage relief role now that he's back with the Twins. Right-hander Louie Varland was optioned to St. Paul in a corresponding move.
