Biddle was claimed by the Braves on Saturday, Travis Sawchik of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports.

After being designated for assignment by the Pirates last week, Biddle was claimed off waivers by the Braves, who wanted to add a southpaw to their roster. The former first rounder has never advanced beyond Triple-A and underwent Tommy John surgery in October, meaning that Atlanta will have to be patient with him as he'll likely be on the shelf for the 2016 season. Still, if Biddle can tap into the talent that warranted a first-round selection in 2010, this could prove to be a savvy addition for the rebuilding Braves.

Moll was reassigned to minor league camp Friday, Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post reports.

Moll had a nice showing in major league camp, only allowing one run and striking out three in 3.1 innings. He'll head back to Double-A Hartford to get more experience against upper-level hitters.

Estevez had a rough spring with the major league club, so he'll head back to the minors to get more work against competition at his level. It's unclear whether he'll head to Double-A Hartford or Triple-A Albuquerque, but either way, he'll look to continue his high-strikeout/low-walk ways like he's done in the past.

Rusin (finger) will throw a live batting practice session in the next few days, Bobby DeMuro of SB Nation reports.

Rusin has been sidelined with inflammation in his left middle finger since the beginning of the month. He was only forced to miss six days of throwing, but he still hasn't been able to pitch in a game yet. He may be able to get into a game prior to spring training's conclusion if his upcoming batting practice session goes well, but even if his finger heals, the damage may already be done in terms of his chance to garner a rotation spot. Manager Walt Weiss thinks he could still stay on in the bullpen as a long reliever and spot starter if he doesn't crack the rotation, but not starting consistently would decrease his fantasy value significantly.

Tillman was assigned to minor league camp Saturday.

Tillman spent time at High-A and Double-A in 2015, and he'll likely begin the season at either Double-A or Triple-A. The 27-year-old posted a cumulative 2.76 ERA with a 1.142 WHIP across 48.1 innings last year.

Estevez has given up six runs and eight hits through 4.1 innings this spring.

The 23-year-old hasn't pitched above Double-A yet, and it has really showed. There are some promising things about his performance thus far, however, such as his seven strikeouts over that span. That being said, Estevez will definitely need to head back to the minors to develop more against advanced hitters before he gets a real look from the major league club.

Hand tossed a pair of scoreless and hitless innings Friday against the Braves, striking out three.

He was a little wild in this one, walking two batters and hitting another, but it was a stark improvement over his six-run disaster the last time he took the mound. Hand started 12 games for the Marlins last season, but with some added depth in the rotation and maturing youth coming up through the system, he's destined for a bullpen role. Despite a mediocre showing so far in Grapefruit League action, the veteran lefty is a strong bet to break camp with the club.

Castro has four strikeouts and only one hit allowed in three innings this spring.

The 21-year-old is competing for a bullpen spot with Colorado, and he's certainly making a strong case to get one of the last spots. He pitched a bit in the majors last season, but saw little success as he posted a 6.11 ERA in 17.2 innings between the Rockies and Blue Jays. There is a chance that he can crack the 25-man roster if he continues to pitch well, but he could also head back to the minors if the Rockies choose to have him face more advanced hitters prior to being a full-time member of the major league club.

The Phillies optioned Cordero (biceps) to Double-A Reading on Friday, the team's official site reports.

Cordero returned to action Friday after missing all of camp with a sore right biceps. He allowed two hits and one run in two-thirds of an inning. We could see him up with the Phillies later this season.

Edwards was optioned to Triple-A Iowa on Friday.

A three-run blowup against Kansas City on Wednesday sealed Edwards' fate, but he may be among the top candidates for a promotion during the season, if he can keep the walks in check at Iowa. Edwards posted a 2.77 ERA between Double-A and Triple-A to earn a September callup last year in his first season as a reliever, but he issued nearly seven walks per nine.
