Chapman walked one and struck out two in a scoreless inning for his 35th save Monday against the Reds.

Chapman has saved eight games in as many opportunities over 11 appearances dating back to Aug. 23. He owns a ridiculous 22:7 K:BB in 11.2 innings in that stretch, remaining one of the nastiest relievers in the game.

Adleman allowed two runs on five hits with five strikeouts over 6.1 innings in a no-decision Monday against the Cubs.

Adleman had gone six innings twice this season, but Monday marked his first time recording an out in the seventh inning. This was also just his the third time this season allowing fewer than two runs with more than four strikeouts. Adleman owns a 4.06 ERA with a 39:18 K:BB in his first 11 MLB starts, which should put him in consideration for a rotation spot next season.

Hoffman was moved to the bullpen Monday, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Hoffman's first five starts in the big leagues have been fairly disappointing, so between this and the plan to avoid overtaxing their heralded prospect, the Rockies decided to shift him into a bullpen role for the remainder of the season. The right-hander will likely move back into a starting role for the 2017 season and should compete for a rotation spot during spring training.

Weber is expected to start Wednesday's series finale against the Mets, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Despite that he allowed five runs over just three innings in his last start, the Braves are going to give Weber another chance to show what he's got in a starting role. The 26-year-old will take over the rotation spot of John Gant for the time being, although it's currently unclear whether this is a one-start fix or a longer-term situation; that should become clearer after Wednesday's contest.

Neris was tagged with his fourth loss of the season Sunday after allowing three runs (two earned) in 1.1 innings against the Marlins.

Neris came on in the eighth inning with a two-run lead and walked a batter before yielding a Christian Yelich two-run homer to tie the game. A couple of defensive miscues then allowed the winning run to score. Neris has allowed at least one run in four of his seven appearances this month. He is second in the National League with 74 games pitched and may be running out of gas given his heavy usage.

Manager Bruce Bochy announced that he will heavily rely on both Law and Hunter Strickland to close out games down the stretch, CSN Bay Area reports.

Law has arguably been the Giants' best reliever this season, posting a 1.90 ERA and 0.94 WHIP over 52.2 innings, so it is no surprise he will get to see some save opportunities. He did just return from an elbow injury, so he may get eased into the role as the Giants don't want to push their young reliever too hard and risk re-injury. Strickland figures to get the ninth if a save situation presents itself Monday against Dodgers because Law pitched Sunday and is unlikely to be used on back-to-back days.

De Leon took a no-decision after allowing six runs (four earned) on seven hits and two walks, while striking out two, in 3.2 innings during Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Diamondbacks.

De Leon struggled in his third career start, allowing three runs in the second inning and three more in the fourth before departing. Luckily for him, his offense bailed him out, rallying to force extra innings and preventing him from taking the loss. The 24-year-old rookie pitched well in his two previous outings, winning both while allowing five runs on eight hits and striking out 12 in 11 innings. De Leon will look to bounce back at home against the Rockies on Friday.

Ottavino pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn his fifth save in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Padres, allowing a hit while striking out two.

Ottavino had little trouble protecting Colorado's three-run lead, allowing a two-out single to Adam Rosales before striking out Luis Sardinas to end the game. The 30-year-old has not allowed an earned run in six September appearances, lowering his ERA to 2.25.

Reyes (3-1) won after tossing seven shutout innings in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Giants. He allowed four hits and two walks while striking out six.

Reyes, who replaced Jaime Garcia in the rotation after tossing 4.1 scoreless innings against the Cubs last Monday, followed up his impressive relief appearance with seven additional shutout innings. The 22-year-old rookie has been terrific in three career starts with a 1.53 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 17 strikeouts in 17.2 innings. He'll look to silence Chicago's bats again on Saturday at Wrigley Field.

Stewart (2-2) struck out six and yielded only two runs on five hits and a walk in Saturday's win over Arizona.

The rookie had only two blemishes -- solo shots by Jean Segura and Wellington Castillo. While the 24-year-old has put together three straight solid starts -- including a shutout of the Cubs -- during which he's struck out 15 while walking only five, his next start Thursday at home against the Rockies is against the team who crushed him for nine runs on ten hits (four homers) the last time they met.
