Maton has 11 strikeouts and zero walks while not giving up a run on five hits in 7.1 innings this season for the Padres.

The young reliever is showing potential in his first season with the Padres after they drafted him in the 20th round of the 2015 draft. His 13.5 K/9 in the big leagues shows his value as a possible closer for San Diego in the near future, a role he played this season for Triple-A El Paso while going 13-for-13 on save opportunities before being called up. He is an intriguing arm to watch for owners in deep dynasty leagues.

Maurer pitched a scoreless ninth inning without allowing a baserunner and striking out two batters to earn his 15th save during Wednesday's win over Atlanta.

Maurer has a firm grasp on the ninth-inning duties for San Diego, but he's been a ratio anchor for fantasy clubs. The 15 saves and 8.9 K/9 are solid, but the closer's 6.32 ERA and 1.24 WHIP are concerning marks. He's also surrendered eight runs through 9.1 innings over 11 June appearances for a 7.71 ERA, so it's not like there have been any recent signs of improvement, either.

Kontos fired a scoreless inning while striking out one in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.

The 32-year-old has been one of the few bright spots in an underperforming Giants bullpen this season, carrying a 2.82 ERA through 36 appearances. With Mark Melancon (elbow) on the disabled list again, Kontos should see an increased number of high-leverage situations, putting him in the conversation in holds leagues.

Iglesias gave up two hits to the Brewers in Wednesday's ninth inning, but he struck out one and held them off the board for his 14th save.

If only the Reds could get steadier starting pitching, Iglesias might start piling up the saves. As it stands, his fantasy owners will have to settle for a modest save total alongside terrific ratios, which is a nice return from a guy who was priced among the lower-tier closers in most of this spring's drafts.

Melancon received a PRP injection in his injured elbow Wednesday after another MRI showed no structural damage, Andrew Baggarly of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

This is good news for Melancon, who says he is simply dealing with inflammation that won't require surgery. He's hoping the injection will help speed up his recovery, though the Giants won't look to rush him back; this is the second time the veteran reliever has landed on the disabled list this season with a right pronator strain, and he admitted it may have been a result of him trying to return too soon from his initial injury. "I really wanted to get back out there, and that probably wasn't the smartest decision," the 34-year-old said. Sam Dyson or Hunter Strickland will serve as the Giants' closer while Melancon remains sidelined.

Neris pitched a perfect inning with one strikeout for the save in Wednesday's 5-4 win in Seattle.

Neris has been anything but a sure thing since he claimed the closer role, but Wednesday was his third straight perfect outing, lowering his ERA to 3.41. He's now converted seven of 10 save opportunities.

Leiter pitched five innings, allowing four runs on nine hits, with six strikeouts in Wednesday's 5-4 win in Seattle.

Leiter made his second start of the season Wednesday and got hit a lot harder this time around. Three of the nine hits he allowed over five innings were home runs. Leiter's one saving grace was that he didn't allow any walks, keeping the Phillies in the game and allowing them a chance to come back. This was likely his last start for the foreseeable future, as Jerad Eickhoff (back) is expected to reclaim his spot in the rotation on Tuesday. Leiter offers little fantasy value once he returns to the bullpen.

Blach (5-5) pitched 6.1 innings, allowing three runs (one earned) on seven hits and three walks, with six strikeouts in Wednesday's win over Colorado.

Blach allowed just one earned run to the high-powered Rockies - though both errors that led to runs were his - to earn his fifth win of the season. It's the kind of bounce back performance the Giants were hoping for, as Blach got shelled in each of his last four starts. He'll look to continue the turnaround next Wednesday when he faces the Tigers.

Reyes (elbow) was moved to the 60-day disabled list Wednesday.

The Cardinals transferred Reyes in order to make room for Alex Mejia on the 40-man roster. Reyes underwent Tommy John surgery this February and will miss the entirety of the 2017 season.

Gsellman (hamstring) was officially placed on the disabled list Wednesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Gsellman left Tuesday's contest after suffering a left hamstring strain in the fourth inning. The right-hander had been struggling on the mound recently, allowing 17 earned runs over his last three starts (12.1 innings). Gsellman is likely to return before the All-Star break since the injury seems to be a minor setback. In his place, the team recalled infielder Matt Reynolds and added him to the 25-man roster.
