Rodney (3-3) allowed four runs on two hits and two walks without recording an out during Thursday's loss to the Dodgers.

Arizona owned a 4-1 lead when Rodney took the rubber, and he allowed a single, two walks and another single before intentionally walking Justin Turner and exiting the game. Chris Taylor drove in the game-winning run on the first pitch of his at-bat against T.J. McFarland, and the Dodgers completed the comeback win. Rodney also blew his last save opportunity, and it wouldn't be surprising if the contending Diamondbacks shortened their leash with the veteran.

Lamet (3-3) allowed six runs -- five earned -- on six hits and four walks while striking out five batters through four innings during Thursday's loss to the Indians.

The rookie has flashed tremendous upside and huge strikeout potential, however, he's still extremely raw. At this stage of the game, it's probably best to be selective with his opponents and fade him in tough matchups. Lamet takes a 5.93 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 12.1 K/9 into the All-Star break.

De La Rosa (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Thursday.

The Diamondbacks will replenish their bullpen depth by recalling Jake Barrett in a corresponding move. De La Rosa had been mostly effective since being called up to the Diamondbacks but did suffer one rough outing against the Cardinals that ballooned his ERA to 8.10 before settling down over his next two appearances. The Diamondbacks are officially calling his injury shoulder inflammation, so he'll likely be shut down until the swelling subsides. There figures to be a firmer timetable for his return before the Diamondbacks hit the All-Star break.

Morris was promoted from Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday.

Morris has been pitching well at the Triple-A level recently, allowing just two earned runs in his past 10 innings of work out of the bullpen. During that span he holds a 17:4 K:BB, which has been indicative of his overall numbers for Gwinnett throughout the 2017 season. The 24-year-old will make his first trip up to the majors for Atlanta, and has appeared in only one big-league game in his career, allowing five earned runs in less than an inning while with the Mets in 2015. Morris will serve as depth out of the pen for Atlanta while he is with the club.

Stewart has allowed one hit and one walk with seven strikeouts across seven scoreless innings this season.

The Dodgers look like they want to keep the 25-year-old stretched out and available should they want to plug him into the back end of the rotation in the second half of the season. Stewart had a 3.24 ERA and 1.08 WHIP with 13 strikeouts over 8.1 innings with Triple-A Oklahoma City this season after spending most of the spring recovering from shoulder tendinitis.

Ottavino is sporting a 6.00 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP in 30 innings pitched this season.

The 31-year-old right-hander had previously been one of the Rockies' top relievers prior to injuring his shoulder at the end of May, but the wheels have since come off. He's allowed runs in five of his past six outings, and his ERA since returning from the disabled list on June 9 sits at a lofty 14.00. He does have 15 strikeouts in that same nine-inning span and seems to be holding onto his role as a high-leverage reliever for Colorado, but his days acting as the setup man to Greg Holland may be numbered if he can't right the ship soon.

Hoover (shoulder) completed a bullpen session Wednesday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Hoover, who hit the 10-day disabled list June 23 with right shoulder inflammation, appears to be closing in on a return, though it's uncertain if it will come before the All-Star break. Diamondbacks manager Torey Luvollo said that Hoover would be reexamined Thursday, at which point the team will decide if the right-hander is ready to come off the DL or if he will need to pitch in a simulated game or head to the minors for a rehab assignment.

Strop (3-2) recorded a win in Wednesday's game against the Rays. He pitched a scoreless inning with no hits or walks, and struck out one.

Since a blowup on June 10 (three earned runs in a third of an inning), Strop has been very solid for the Cubs. In his last 11 appearances (10 innings pitched), he has a 1.80 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 14 strikeouts. Strop should continue to be a key bullpen contributor for the Cubs, but his fantasy value will remain limited in standard leagues without save opportunities.

Jansen pitched a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts to record his 20th save of the season during Wednesday's win over Arizona.

Jansen is a perfect 20-for-20 converting saves with a 1.01 ERA, 0.59 WHIP and 14.1 K/9. He's also collected four wins and walked just two batters all season. He's an elite closer in both the real and fantasy game, and finishing off opponents for a contender should continue to provide Jansen with plenty of opportunities to pad the saves column.

Blach (6-5) held the Tigers to three runs on six hits and a walk while striking out two in a winning effort Wednesday.

Despite failing to miss many bats, as usual, Blach managed to meet the minimum requirements for a quality start. With his unhelpful rate stats (4.60 ERA, 1.34 WHIP), the rookie is only useful in formats where his low-strikeout ways and tendency for pitching deep into games give him some degree of value.
