Vizcaino (finger) was activated from the 10-day DL on Wednesday.

Lane Adams was optioned down in a corresponding move. Vizcaino was the Braves' best reliever throughout the first three months of the season (2.38 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 39:12 K:BB), and he figures to slot right back in near the back end of the bullpen now that he's fully recovered from the finger strain. He may even get a chance to close later in the season depending on what happens at the trade deadline.

Blach held the Indians to one run on seven hits while striking out three over seven innings Tuesday. He did not factor into the decision in a 2-1 victory.

Blach displayed his ability to induce weak contact against a hard-hitting Indians squad, keeping the ball out of the heart of the plate and surrendering just one extra-base hit. The 26-year-old has strung together three consecutive quality starts (2.33 ERA) after getting shelled by the Mets for seven runs on June 23. The southpaw's pitch-to-contact style leaves him prone to the occasional blow-up, but when he is on -- like he has been of late -- Blach could provide value to owners in deep formats. He will look to continue his run of quality starts in a favorable matchup against the Padres on Sunday.

Jansen gave up a hit and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday to pick up his 24th save of the season in a 1-0 win over the White Sox.

The 29-year-old has yet to blow a save this season and has been nearly flawless over the last two months, allowing just a solo home run in his last 22 appearances while posting a 0.38 ERA, 0.46 WHIP and 30:2 K:BB in 24 innings. With the Dodgers holding the best record in baseball and seemingly cruising towards a playoff berth, Jansen should remain the most valuable fantasy closer in the league down the stretch.

Lamet (3-4) struck out seven Rockies on Tuesday, but he lasted just four innings, allowing six runs (five earned) on four hits and four walks in a 9-7 road loss.

As promising as he is, Lamet has been brutally inconsistent, so expectations couldn't be high for this start at Coors Field, where pitchers go to cry. Lamet's strikeout numbers are most impressive -- 62 of 'em in 45 innings, a 12.4 K/9 -- but his 3.8 BB/9 is a red flag, as is his tendency to surrender home runs. Now 25 (Tuesday was his birthday) the Dominican righty still has room to develop; it's worth keeping in mind that he only made 10 career starts at Triple-A before making the majors. However, his lack of a quality third pitch to accompany his 95 mph heater and sharp slider means he may ultimately be destined for the bullpen.

Montero (1-6) took another loss Tuesday after surrendering four runs -- two earned -- on seven hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five.

New York's defenders didn't give their staff a lot of help in this one, making three errors that led to an equal number of unearned runs. Montero's early struggles and his team's defensive meltdown led to an early 4-0 hole the Mets never dug out of. That said, Montero has been doing a decent job of keeping his ERA down recently -- it's 3.20 over his six appearances in June and July -- but he's still hard to trust, and his team context doesn't do him any favors either.

Neris tossed a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his ninth save of the season in a 5-2 win over the Marlins.

The right-hander has had some rough stretches this year but now sports a 1.86 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 10:2 K:BB over his last 10 appearances (9.2 innings), and Neris could soon have the closer role to himself in Philly if Pat Neshak gets flipped before the trade deadline.

Bowman fired a scoreless seventh inning in Monday's 6-3 win over the Mets, allowing one hit.

The 26-year-old right-hander continues to rack up the holds, with Tuesday's being his fourth in the last 10 days. Bowman is once again looking like the pitcher that put together a 19.2-inning scoreless streak between the tail end of last season and April 25 of the current campaign, as he's now turned in scoreless efforts in 12 of his last 13 outings.

Vizcaino (finger) is expected to return from the disabled list Wednesday, Kevin McAlpin of 680 The Fan reports.

Vizcaino got through an inning of work with Triple-A Gwinnett without issue, so he'll plan to resume his high-leverage role in the Braves' bullpen after a day of rest. Prior to getting injured, the 26-year-old logged 15 holds and a 2.38 ERA in 34 innings for Atlanta.

Webb was optioned to Triple-A Colorado Springs on Tuesday.

The left-hander allowed a run in both of his appearances after being acquired from the Yankees, so he'll head back to the minors for more seasoning. There aren't a ton of southpaws in Milwaukee's relief corps, so there's a decent chance that Webb could return to the majors when another lefty is needed. Michael Blazek was recalled to fill his spot in the major-league bullpen.

White (toe) was activated from the disabled list with High-A Rancho Cucamonga, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

White broke his toe in early June, but he's already ready to return since he didn't undergo surgery to fix the problem. The pitching prospect held a 3.72 ERA and a 49:16 K:BB in nine starts prior to getting hurt, so he'll look to continue that strong showing now that he's back on the mound.
