Iglesias allowed one run on one hit and one walk while striking out three across 1.2 innings to earn his 27th save Friday against the Pirates.

Iglesias was protecting a three-run lead, and the run he allowed made little difference, as he nailed down the home victory. With a 1.98 ERA, he continues to be an elite fantasy option.

Leiter (3-6) allowed four runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out nine across six innings to take the loss Friday against the Athletics.

Leiter gave up a two-run homer in each of the first two innings while receiving no offensive support, as he dropped his sixth decision of the year. He's allowed 16 earned runs over his last three starts, which raised his ERA over a full run, and fantasy managers are taking on risk if using him while he tries to work through his current slump. He'll make his next start Thursday against the Dodgers.

Nelson will undergo shoulder surgery Tuesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

The Brewers had been deciding whether or not to choose rehab or surgery as the path for Nelson's recovery, and the decision was ultimately made to send him under the knife. Nelson has already been ruled out for this season, but the doctors performing his surgery will not be able to determine the full extent of the damage to his shoulder until they begin the surgical procedure, so it remains to be seen what his recovery timetable will be, and if he will miss any action in 2018.

Sewald allowed three unearned runs on two hits in just a third of an inning during Thursday's loss to the Cubs.

Sewald has only pitched in four of the last 14 games, and has an ERA of 7.45 in his last 10 appearances. Unsurprisingly, he is near the back of the bullpen and it's unlikely that he will see many opportunities in high-leverage situations for the remainder of the season.

Nelson (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day DL prior to Friday's game against the Marlins.

The move was just a formality at this point since Nelson has already been ruled out for the rest of the season, but the club chose to put Nelson on the DL nonetheless. He is still awaiting news on the second opinion he received on his shoulder, but will likely need to undergo surgery at some point in the near future, barring any unexpected news.

Brebbia notched his fifth hold in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Reds, firing a scoreless eighth inning in which he allowed a hit and recorded two strikeouts.

Brebbia needed just 14 pitches, 10 of which he threw for strikes, to get through his one frame. The 27-year-old right-hander had given up an earned run apiece in each of his last two outings, so his scoreless effort was a welcome sight. Although he hasn't seen many hold opportunities, Brebbia's 2.45 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 42 strikeouts over 44 innings have kept him on the fantasy radar in deep NL-only and mixed formats.

Milner tossed a scoreless inning with a strikeout in Thursday's 10-0 win over the Marlins.

Milner has not allowed a run since July 28, when he gave up two runs in two innings. He has a 1.78 ERA with four holds and a 16:10 K:BB in 25.1 innings this season. The lefty has been particularly tough on same-handed hitters with a .191 batting average against. He will likely be a favorite for a bullpen spot next spring given his performance this season.

Bowman fired a scoreless ninth inning in Wednesday's 6-0 loss to the Reds.

The 26-year-old right-hander needed an efficient six pitches to post his sixth straight scoreless effort, a stretch during which he's also racked up a pair of holds. Bowman has given up multiple earned runs in a handful of outings this season, but he's also demonstrated plenty of upside with several extended scoreless streaks.

Chafin retired the only batter he faced in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Rockies.

Chafin has been utilized as a setup man for much of the season, but the July 31 acquisition of David Hernandez along with the late-summer promotion of Jimmie Sherfy has resulted in manager Torey Lovullo tinkering with Chafin's role. The right-hander looks like he'll be used mostly as a situational pitcher going forward, a luxury afforded to the Diamondbacks due to their deeper bullpen with the expanded rosters. Chafin has been asked to record no more than two outs in any of his last six appearances.

Maton recorded two outs before surrendering a walkoff two-run home run in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Twins.

Home runs continue to be Maton's Achilles' heel this season, as Wednesday's homer marked the ninth he has given up in just 37 innings (2.2 HR/9). The rookie reliever has flashed some potential at times, but the results (4.62 ERA) have been far too inconsistent to be relied upon for fantasy purposes.
