Scott Alexander RP | SF
Dodgers' Scott Alexander: Back with big club
Alexander was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Wednesday.
Alexander was summoned back to the big club to offer an arm from the left side while Tony Cingrani (shoulder) -- who was sent to the disabled list in a corresponding move -- remains sidelined. The 28-year-old struggled to a 6.35 ERA, 1.85 WHIP and 7:9 K:BB through 11.1 innings with the big club earlier in the year. However, he tossed four scoreless innings with a 5:1 K:BB after being sent to the minors.

Matt Grace RP | ARI
Nationals' Matt Grace: Shut down for two days
Grace (groin) was sore after his minor-league rehab appearance Tuesday, so he'll be shut down for two days, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.
Grace, who has been on the disabled list since April 21 with a groin injury, tossed a scoreless inning in his first rehab appearance for Triple-A Syracuse on Tuesday. Unfortunately, his groin didn't respond the way the Nationals were hoping after the outing, so he'll take a couple days off before being reevaluated Friday.

Enyel De Los Santos RP | HOU
Phillies' Enyel De Los Santos: Another dominant Triple-A start
De Los Santos tossed seven scoreless innings for Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Wednesday, striking out six while allowing just one hit and a pair of walks.
The dominant performance brought the 22-year-old's ERA down to 0.84 through six starts. He's looking like quite the return for one season of Freddy Galvis so far this year. The Phillies don't have a glaring hole at the back of their rotation, with Zach Eflin making two good starts and Jerad Eickhoff nearing a return from a lat strain, but De Los Santos is certainly doing everything he can to force his way onto the big-league roster.

Dominic Leone RP | CHW
Cardinals' Dominic Leone: Not joining team on road trip
Leone (biceps) won't join the Cardinals on their seven-game road trip that begins Thursday in San Diego, Rick Hummel of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Leone is eligible to return from the 10-day disabled list May 13, but he'll need more than the minimum amount of time while he continues to deal with a nerve issue in his upper arm. The Cardinals' medical staff is still uncertain about the extent of the setback, so Leone will likely be subject to additional testing and be barred from throwing until further notice. Leone, who opened the season as the Cardinals' leading closing candidate, blew his lone save chance before surrendering the gig and carries a 4.15 ERA and 1.38 WHIP across 13 innings.

Brent Suter RP | ATL
Brewers' Brent Suter: Candidate to rejoin rotation
Suter likely ranks as the leading candidate to rejoin the Milwaukee rotation after Wade Miley (oblique) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Wednesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Suter was the star of Milwaukee's 3-2 win over Cleveland on Tuesday after entering the game when Miley was forced to depart with a right oblique strain with one out in the first inning. The lefty, who had moved to the bullpen in late April to accommodate Miley's entry into the rotation, scattered two runs on five hits and a walk while striking out five in 4.2 innings and delivered a 433-foot homer off Corey Kluber that proved to be the winning run. That performance in long relief should give Suter the leg up over the likes of Triple-A Colorado Springs starters Brandon Woodruff, Corbin Burnes and Freddy Peralta, who McCalvy also cites as potential rotation replacements. Since Miley is expected to be sidelined for multiple weeks, Suter would likely have some leash in a starting role if he pitches well, though he would line up for a difficult initial outing Sunday in Colorado.

Alex Reyes RP | LAD
Cardinals' Alex Reyes: Ready to begin rehab
Reyes (elbow) is expected to begin a rehab assignment with High-A Palm Beach on Wednesday, Rob Rains of StL Sports Page reports.
Reyes is not listed as the starter for Palm Beach on Wednesday, but he was officially added to the team's roster, so there is a good chance he sees his first game action since 2016. Reyes is eligible to come off the disabled list May 28, but given the length of his absence, he may not be activated right away. The Cardinals can keep him in the minors for up to 30 days after he makes his first appearance for Palm Beach.

John Brebbia RP | COL
Cardinals' John Brebbia: Impressive start to latest big-league stint
Brebbia fired a pair of scoreless frames in a loss to the Twins on Tuesday, allowing two hits while recording two strikeouts.
Just called up from Triple-A Memphis earlier in the day, Brebbia jumped right into the fray by closing matters out in the loss. The 27-year-old right-hander is yet to be scored on at the major-league level over four appearances this season, allowing four hits while generating a sparkling 9:0 K:BB across seven innings.

Hansel Robles RP | LAD
Mets' Hansel Robles: Set for MRI on Wednesday
Robles will undergo an MRI on his injured right knee in New York on Wednesday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
Robles suffered the injury during Tuesday's game in Cincinnati as the reliever left after tallying just one out over his first five batters. He did undergo X-rays following the game, which came back negative, but there should be a better gauge on his status following Wednesday's MRI.

Dennis Santana RP | ARI
Dodgers' Dennis Santana: Strikes out 11 batters Tuesday
Santana covered six innings for Double-A Tulsa on Tuesday, conceding one run and striking out 11.
Santana has now allowed two or fewer runs in six of his seven starts this season, leaving him with a 2.12 ERA over 34 innings. The right-hander has registered a gaudy 48:10 K:BB during that span, giving him a viable claim to the title of the Dodgers' top pitching prospect once Walker Buehler exhausts his eligibility. Santana could earn a midseason promotion to Triple-A Oklahoma City if he continues to shine in the Texas League, but it seems unlikely that he'll get a look from the Dodgers at any point in 2018 even with the big club recently losing Clayton Kershaw (biceps) and Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) to the disabled list.

Arodys Vizcaino RP | KC
Braves' Arodys Vizcaino: Works around danger to record save
Vizcaino worked around a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning to earn his fifth save of the season Tuesday against the Rays.
Vizcaino made things interesting in a one-run game, allowing a pair of baserunners, but a timely double play and a fortuitous foul out closed the door on the hosts. He's been particularly sharp of late, allowing just one earned run over his last 10 outings while recording all five of his save opportunities in that span. He'll look to keep it rolling for a much improved Atlanta squad.
