Lucas Sims RP | CHW
Braves' Lucas Sims: Returns from Gwinnett
Sims was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Sims will be up to provide some additional depth in the bullpen with the Braves in the midst of a long stretch without an off day (16 straight days). He may accompany the club to Philadelphia this week but Sims will likely head back down when a need arises elsewhere on the roster.

George Kontos RP | CLE
Pirates' George Kontos: Struggles continue
Kontos allowed two runs (one earned) on two hits in one inning Saturday.
The 32-year-old, who recently lost his eighth-inning role, continues to trend in the wrong direction. Kontos holds a 3.8 K/9 in 18.2 innings. His average fastball velocity has decreased every season since 2015 and sits at 90.2 mph. He's the weak link in Pittsburgh's pen, but with a relatively high salary ($2.7 million in 2018), the thrifty organization will look for ways to right his ship before potentially designating him for assignment.

Kenley Jansen RP | DET
Dodgers' Kenley Jansen: Records eighth save
Jansen pitched a clean ninth inning in the nightcap of Saturday's doubleheader to earn his eighth save of the season and second of the day.
Jansen entered the game with a one-run lead and did not allow a baserunner while closing out the win. He has now gone seven consecutive appearances without allowing a run or even a walk. Concerns regarding his performance have quieted as a result, and he appears to have regained his status as one of best closers in the game.

Alex Reyes RP | LAD
Cardinals' Alex Reyes: Dominates for second straight rehab start
Reyes (elbow) compiled 13 strikeouts while allowing just one hit and three walks over 7.2 innings in Double-A Springfield's win over Northwest Arkansas on Saturday.
Reyes has now racked up 31 whiffs over 16 innings in his rehab outings at three different levels of the Cardinals organization. The 23-year-old worked up to 93 pitches in Saturday's start, and he's scheduled for one final rehab appearance Thursday with Triple-A Memphis, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports. Reyes will then be eligible to return from the disabled list May 28, when there's a chance he could immediately work into the starting rotation. Adam Wainwright (elbow) will still be sidelined at that point, while Carlos Martinez (lat) is likely out of action until early June. Consequently, Trezza reports that Reyes could usurp current fill-in John Gant or send either Luke Weaver or Jack Flaherty to the bullpen.

Josh Hader RP | HOU
Brewers' Josh Hader: Picks up win Saturday
Hader (2-0) collected the win over the Twins on Saturday, firing 2.1 innings of scoreless relief while striking out six and walking one.
His numbers remain absurd, as Hader generated 15 swinging strikes on only 32 offerings, and he got rewarded for his dominance when Christian Yelich blasted a game-winning home run in the eighth inning. Hader now has a 1.32 ERA, 0.51 WHIP and terrifying 56:7 K:BB through 27.1 innings to go along with his two wins, six saves and six holds.

Mark Melancon RP | ARI
Giants' Mark Melancon: Begins rehab assignment Monday
Melancon (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Monday, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Melancon opened the season on the disabled list with a right elbow flexor strain and began throwing live batting practice Thursday. Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic Bay Area reports Melancon will not resume a high-leverage role upon his return, as manager Bruce Bochy doesn't want to alter what has been a quality back end of the bullpen. The 33-year-old is likely looking at a couple weeks in the minors for his rehab stint and could make a return to the Giants in early June.
-
Raisel Iglesias RP | ATL
Reds' Raisel Iglesias: Blows save in eighth inning
Iglesias was saddled with his second blown save of the season in the first half of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cubs. He struck out two in one inning but allowed two runs on three hits.
Iglesias came into the eighth inning with a two-run lead and the potential to earn a two-inning save. Things did not go as planned, however. He allowed a leadoff homer to Ian Happ and an RBI double to Anthony Rizzo. Despite the poor outing, Iglesias' ERA still sits at just 2.08 on the year. He's struck out 27 and walked eight in 21.2 innings and has converted eight of 10 save chances.
-
Pat Venditte RP | LAD
Dodgers' Pat Venditte: Returns to Triple-A
Venditte was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City prior to Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Venditte spent exactly a week in the majors after being promoted last Saturday, allowing two earned runs on three hits over 2.2 innings (three appearances). The Dodgers claimed Erik Goeddel off waivers, necessitating the move.
-
Seranthony Dominguez RP | SEA
Phillies' Seranthony Dominguez: Picks up first save
Dominguez struck out two over two perfect innings against the Cardinals on Saturday to earn his first save of the season.
Less than two weeks into his big-league career, Dominguez already has his first save -- probably the first of many. The 23-year-old right-hander has turned in a 7:0 K:BB through 6.2 innings on the strength of a high-90s fastball and a sharp, biting slider. With Hector Neris struggling, Dominguez is looking like a must-add in leagues where he's available as he has the potential to run away with the ninth-inning job in Philadelphia.
-
Yimi Garcia RP | TOR
Dodgers' Yimi Garcia: Serves as 26th man
Garcia will be the Dodgers' 26th man for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against Washington, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Garcia will provide added reinforcements for the club's bullpen following Friday's postponement. The right-hander has appeared in four games at the big-league level this season, allowing three earned runs in just 3.1 innings. Expect to see him in a low-leverage situation if utilized by manager Dave Roberts during Saturday's nightcap.
