Iglesias retired the Cubs in order with one strikeout to earn his 11th save in a 6-5 victory Friday afternoon.

Since a couple of bad appearances against the Giants at the beginning of the month, Iglesias has improved tremendously. He is 5-for-5 in his last five save opportunities, and he hasn't allowed a run in 8.2 straight frames. Overall, Iglesias owns a 1-5 record with a 3.20 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 34 strikeouts in 25.1 innings. He is also 11-for-13 in save chances.

Wilson (elbow) started throwing again Thursday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Wilson was scheduled to rest for a few days after landing on the 10-day injured list earlier this month but is now beginning to progress in his recovery. The 31-year-old is pain free but has yet to begin mound work, making him unlikely to return before the end of May.

Almonte was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.

Since being called up May 4, Almonte hasn't surrendered a run over 6.2 innings of work out of the bullpen. He's struck out seven and walked four over that stretch. Despite the right-hander's success, the Rockies have sent him to the minor leagues and have recalled Jeff Hoffman in a corresponding move.

Hoffman was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque to start Friday's game against the Orioles, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.

As anticipated, Hoffman has been promoted to the big leagues and will toe the rubber for the series opener. He started one game earlier in the season April 23 against the Nationals, surrendering four runs while punching out six over five innings. Yency Almonte was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Diaz may not be available to pitch Friday against the Tigers after throwing in three of the last four games, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Manager Mickey Callaway didn't explicitly ruled Diaz out, but it sounds as though he may be more of a last-resort option. Drew Gagnon could apparently garner a look should a save situation arise Friday.

Kelly is expected to return from the bereavement list prior to Monday's game against the Mets, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

The right-hander was placed on the bereavement list Friday morning, though his absence will be a brief one. The Dodgers will need to make a roster move upon Kelly's return.

Nelson (shoulder) was activated off the 10-day injured list and optioned to Triple-A San Antonio.

Nelson made his fourth rehab start at Triple-A San Antonio on Thursday, and it looks as though he'll remain there for the time being. The 29-year-old exceeded 80 pitches in each of his last three rehab outings, so he should be fully stretched out despite the extensive layoff. The Brewers have yet to announce the official plan for Nelson going forward, but more information is likely to be provided in the near future.

Loup (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday.

Loup has been on the 10-day IL with a left elbow strain since April 8, and it remains unclear where he is currently at in his recovery. The 31-year-old will be eligible to return from the 60-day IL in early June, though that shouldn't be expected given the lack of information on his progress.

Kelly has been placed on the MLB bereavement list, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

The right-hander must miss at least three games but no more than seven. Outfielder Kyle Garlick is back on the Dodgers' roster in a corresponding move.

Kinley (1-0) gave up a run on three hits in an inning of relief but still picked up the win in Thursday's come-from-behind victory over the Tigers.

The right-hander entered the game in the eighth inning with the Marlins down 1-0 and made things a little worse, but Garrett Cooper's grand slam in the top of the ninth bailed Kinley out and handed him his first big-league win. His 5.75 ERA and 1.92 WHIP through 20.1 innings on the year remain poor, but his 24:15 K:BB shows his potential if he can improve his control and command.
