Minter gave up one hit in a scoreless ninth inning against San Diego on Sunday to earn the save.

Minter retired the first two batters he faced before Fernando Tatis Jr. stroked his fourth single of the game, but Atlanta's backup closer -- Luke Jackson had recorded saves the previous two days -- responded by getting Eric Hosmer to fly out to end the game. While he stills holds an unsightly 6.56 ERA and 1.80 WHIP on the season, Minter has been much better since returning to the majors June 11, holding opponents scoreless in 10 of 14 appearances while racking up 14 strikeouts in 12.1 innings.

Young is listed as the Diamondbacks' scheduled starter for Tuesday's game against the Rangers.

After Young tossed six scoreless innings to earn his second win of the season in the Diamondbacks' final game before the All-Star break July 7, there was little doubt that he would be awarded another turn through the rotation. In total, Young has allowed just one run on three hits and two walks in his first 13.1 big-league innings, but a .061 BABIP and 100 percent strand rate both suggest major regression is ahead for the lefty. Young could be in for a rude awakening when he takes the hill at the hitter-friendly Globe Life Park in Arlington after his first three MLB outings came in venues that skew more favorably to pitchers (Oracle Park, Dodger Stadium and Chase Field).

Pomeranz was available out of the bullpen in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Brewers, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Pomeranz had been listed as the Giants' scheduled starter for the first game of Monday's doubleheader with the Rockies at Coors Field, but manager Bruce Bochy has since clarified that Jeff Samardzija will take the hill for the afternoon contest while Dereck Rodriguez starts in the nightcap. Since Pomeranz went unused in relief Sunday, he'll be available to start Tuesday's game, but it's unclear if Bochy still views the lefty as a member of the rotation. Pomeranz has been striking out batters at a healthy clip since the beginning of June (11.8 K/9) but has failed to surpass five innings in any of his six starts during that span while supplying a 4.13 ERA and 1.62 WHIP. Even if he rejoins the rotation Tuesday, Pomeranz won't make for a comfortable streaming option in light of his erratic form and the unfavorable pitching environment.

Beede (3-3) allowed three runs on seven hits over 6.2 innings Sunday, striking out seven and earning the win over Milwaukee.

Beede has been terrific in July, going 2-0 while striking out 11 and allowing four runs over 13.2 innings. Milwaukee managed just one run against him through five innings before Christian Yelich took him deep for a solo blast in the sixth. Beede will aim for his third straight win at home against the Mets on Thursday.

Voth will be recalled from Double-A Harrisburg to start Tuesday at Baltimore, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

Voth will return to the majors this week as expected to make his fourth start of the season. The Nationals have yet to decide their rotation plans beyond Tuesday as they wait to see how long Max Scherzer (back) might be sidelined, but a good outing from Voth could help earn him another look since the team doesn't have another scheduled off day until August 1. The 27-year-old has a 5.52 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 16:5 K:BB through his first three starts this season.

Rodriguez will be called up as the 26th man to start Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader at Colorado, Kerry Crowley of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Rodriguez was sent to High-A San Jose last week so he could continue pitching while Triple-A Sacramento was on break, and he'll rejoin the Giants for Monday's twin bill. The 27-year-old has a 5.27 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 36:23 K:BB over 56.1 innings and may return to the minors following the outing.

Beede was recalled from Double-A Richmond ahead of his start Sunday in Milwaukee.

Beede was sent down when the Giants did not need a fifth starter leading up to the All-Star break, but he returns to the majors for his first start of the second half. The 26-year-old has a 5.64 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 43:28 K:BB over 44.2 innings this season, but he's allowed only three runs on eight hits in his last two outings, covering 12.1 frames.

Wingenter tossed a scoreless sixth inning, allowing two hits and striking out one to earn a hold in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Braves.

The reliever was able to keep his line clean before the game turned into a back-and-forth affair. Wingenter is up to 12 holds this year with a 3.34 ERA and 1.03 WHIP across 35 innings. The 25-year-old also has a 47:17 K:BB and a 1-1 record in his 35 appearances.

Yates allowed two hits and struck out four over two innings while recording his second blown save of the year in a 7-5 loss to the Braves on Saturday.

Yates allowed Josh Donaldson to score on an Austin Riley sacrifice fly in the eighth inning, inheriting the runner from reliever Gerardo Reyes. It's a tough statistical break for the closer Yates, who is now 30-for-32 in save chances with a sparkling 1.10 ERA and 0.80 WHIP in 41 innings. With a 64:9 K:BB, he's also one of the most dominating relievers in the league this season.

Jackson allowed one run on two hits and two walks while striking out one to earn his 16th save of the season in Saturday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Padres.

The Braves gave Jackson a three-run lead in the top of the 10th inning, but the closer made things interesting by loading the bases before striking out Padres pitcher Luis Perdomo to escape the jam. Jackson has allowed a run in each of his saves to start the second half of the season, pushing his ERA up to 2.93 for the year. The 27-year-old also has a 62:18 K:BB in 46 innings this season.
