Garcia (1-4) took the loss on Friday against the Diamondbacks after allowing one run (unearned) on one hit while striking out four over 1.1 innings.

After replacing Casey Sadler with one on and two outs in the seventh, Garcia whiffed Christian Walker to end the inning. He then struck out Tim Locastro to start the eighth, but he reached first on a passed ball by Russell Martin. Locastro soon stole second, and unfortunately, scored the winning run of the game on a balk by Garcia. Across 54 appearances this season, the right-hander owns a 3.58 ERA and 0.83 WHIP.

Floro (chest) will be activated from the injured list Sunday, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Floro made a rehab appearance with High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday, tossing eight pitches in one perfect inning. He'll return to the big club on Sunday to fill a spot in the bullpen. Floro is 4-3 with a 3.89 ERA and 1.30 WHIP in 39 appearances with the Dodgers this season.

Lamet (2-3) took the loss Friday, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits and two walks while striking out 10 over five innings versus the Giants.

A fielding error in the first inning accounted for the unearned run when Brandon Belt hit one of two homers off Lamet. The other long ball came from Mike Yastrzemski. Lamet has now allowed eight homers over 10 starts. It was the right-hander's second double-digit strikeouts performance of the year. Lamet owns a 4.24 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 70:22 K:BB over 51 innings. The 27-year-old is expected to draw the start at home next Friday versus the Rockies.

Stanek (0-4) blew the save and was hit with the loss Friday night against the Nationals after allowing two runs on two hits and a walk over one-thid of an inning.

Stanek entered the matchup in the bottom of the ninth with a one-run lead, but he surrendered a pair of runs on a single to left field, ending the contest. The 28-year-old has blown four saves in his last five appearances, and he seems unlikely to hang onto the closer's role for much longer given his recent struggles.

Hernandez gave up four runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three over six innings Friday against the Nationals. He didn't factor into the decision.

Hernandez allowed two runs in the first inning followed by one in the second and one in the sixth. The 24-year-old hasn't been able to provide much consistency for Miami thus far, accruing a 5.06 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with a 68:23 K:BB over 69.1 innings this year.

Ponce de Leon will start Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Reds.

Ponce de Leon was initially on track to start the second game of Saturday's matchup, but he'll now toe the rubber for Game 2 on Sunday after Friday's matchup was postponed.

Hudson won't make his scheduled start Friday against the Reds due to inclement weather, Rob Rains of StLSportsPage.com reports.

The Cardinals will play a doubleheader Saturday, and the team has since announced that Hudson will take the mound for Game 1.

Thielbar was traded from the Tigers to the Braves on Friday for cash considerations.

Thielbar posted a 3.30 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with a 92:16 K:BB over 76.1 innings this season with Triple-A Toledo. He last appeared in the majors during the 2015 season for Minnesota.

Ponce de Leon will be recalled from Triple-A Memphis to start the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Reds, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

As expected, Ponce de Leon will be promoted from the minors to start Saturday for the big-league club. He owns a 3.76 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with a 44:21 K:BB over 40.2 innings this season in the majors.

Hartlieb was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Friday, Nubyjas Wilborn of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Hartlieb has accrued an 8.65 ERA and 1.96 WHIP with a 28:12 K:BB over 26 innings this season in the big leagues. Montana DuRapau was demoted to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
