Gallegos exited Thursday's game in the seventh inning with an undisclosed injury, FOX Sports Midwest reports.

The right-hander came into the game to start the seventh inning and allowed three runs on two hits and a walk before exiting the field with a trainer. It's unclear at the moment what Gallegos is dealing with or how long he may be out.

Kelly (shoulder) was activated from the injured list Thursday and will begin to serve his five-game suspension.

Kelly had been on the injured list with shoulder inflammation since Aug. 10. The reliever will now serve his five-game suspension that he received for his role in the altercation with the Astros on July 28. He will return to the Dodgers' bullpen Sept. 16.

De Leon was optioned to the Reds' alternate training site Thursday.

He will stick on the taxi squad for the rest of this road trip, which ends Sunday. De Leon has given up 12 earned runs in four innings this season.

Vesia was optioned to the Marlins' alternate training site Thursday.

Vesia will return to alternate camp after allowing five runs (four earned) over 1.1 innings during Wednesday's blowout loss to Atlanta. The southpaw did not find much success in his first taste of major-league action this year with an 18.69 ERA and 3.23 WHIP over 4.1 innings across five appearances.

Pagan (biceps) was activated from the 10-day injured list Thursday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

He will end up missing a little under two weeks with the biceps injury, but in that time, Trevor Rosenthal appears to have taken over as the team's closer. Pagan could still get the occassional save opportunity and could vulture wins, but as long as Rosenthal is pitching well, he should remain the go-to closer.

Yamamoto was optioned to the Marlins' alternate training site Thursday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

This was an easy move to see coming, as Yamamoto was a sacrificial lamb Wednesday, giving up 13 runs (12 earned) in 2.2 innings of long relief. He now has an 18.26 ERA and 3.00 WHIP on the season.

Castano was recalled from the Marlins' alternate training site Thursday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

The Marlins will add a fresh arm in Castano to the bullpen after sending down Jordan Yamamoto in a corresponding move. Castano has a 4.11 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 8:8 K:BB in 15.1 innings. He could start a game in the coming days, as the Marlins are set to play 15 games in the next 11 days.

Garcia was optioned to the Giants' alternate training site Thursday.

He has a 14.73 ERA and 2.73 WHIP in 3.2 innings over the last week, so he was an obvious candidate to get sent down with Drew Smyly coming off the injured list.

Alzolay was recalled by the Cubs ahead of his scheduled start Thursday against the Reds, Maddie Lee of NBC Sports Chicago reports.

With Jose Quintana (lat) and Tyler Chatwood (forearm) on the shelf, a rotation spot is there for the taking if Alzolay can impress in this outing. The Cubs won't need a fifth starter again until Sept. 22 in Pittsburgh, so if Alzolay struggles, or perhaps even if he doesn't, he will likely be sent back down after this start. He has a 2.08 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 12:7 K:BB in 8.2 innings (three appearances).

Yamamoto served up 13 runs (12 earned) over 2.2 innings out of the bullpen in Wednesday's 29-9 loss to the Braves. He struck out three and gave up 11 hits and walked two.

After striking out more than a batter per inning and posting a 1.14 WHIP over 15 starts as a rookie in 2019, Yamamoto looked like he might be a potential long-term piece at the back end of the Miami rotation. The 24-year-old's outlook has taken a significant hit since then, with a big dip in velocity and a complete loss of command and control proving to be his undoing. Yamamoto needed 94 pitches just to record his eight outs, with the Braves bludgeoning him for four home runs along the way. Since Yamamoto likely won't be available out of the bullpen for at least four days after the taxing relief appearance, expect Miami to send him to its alternate training site in short order.
