Tyler Rogers RP | TOR
Giants' Tyler Rogers: Works 1.2 scoreless innings
Rogers pitched 1.2 scoreless innings with a hit and a strikeout to earn a hold, but the Giants took a 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Marlins on Saturday. He also hit a batter.
Rogers entered the game with one out in the seventh inning. When he hit Garrett Cooper with a pitch, that loaded the bases, but Rogers was able to get Corey Dickerson to ground out, ending the threat. The right-hander also worked the eighth inning to notch his seventh hold of the season. Rogers has a 0.93 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 8:3 K:BB across 9.2 innings in nine appearances this season. He continues to work as the setup man to closer Jake McGee, who blew his first save of the season Saturday.

Daniel Bard RP | COL
Rockies' Daniel Bard: Blows first save of season
Bard (0-1) took the loss in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Mets, giving up two runs on four hits in the seventh inning to blow his first save of the season. He struck out two.
The right-hander got tagged for four straight hits to lead off the final frame, and while Bard did regain his focus and shut the Mets down after that, the damage was done. After Saturday's hiccup he sports a 4.76 ERA, but Bard's 9:3 K:B through 5.2 innings is right in line with last year's impressive comeback.

Edwin Diaz RP | LAD
Mets' Edwin Diaz: Notches first save
Diaz struck out the side in a perfect seventh inning Saturday to record his first save of the season in the first game of a doubleheader against the Rockies.
All three strikeouts were swinging as Diaz blew fastballs past Josh Fuentes, Sam Hilliard and Dom Nunez. The right-hander has had one shaky appearance and four clean ones to begin the year, leading to a 3.86 ERA and 7:2 K:BB through 4.2 innings.

Jarlin Garcia RP | PIT
Giants' Jarlin Garcia: Takes loss in extras
Garcia (0-1) allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk while striking out one in two-thirds of an inning, taking the loss Saturday to the Marlins.
Garcia entered the bottom of the 10th inning for a save opportunity in a one-run game. Needing only one more out, Garcia surrendered a two-run double from Jorge Alfaro to end the game. The 28-year-old has made four relief appearances this season and has allowed at least one run in three of them.

Victor Gonzalez RP | LAA
Dodgers' Victor Gonzalez: Records crucial save
Gonzalez recorded the save in Saturday's win over the Padres, walking one and recording the final two outs of the game.
The 25-year-old came in shaky with a wild pitch to advance a runner and proceeded to walk Jurickson Profar, but he got himself together and retired the following two batters. Gonzalez recorded his first save of the season, partially due to limited bullpen availability after Friday night's extra-inning affair.

Yimi Garcia RP | TOR
Marlins' Yimi Garcia: Earns win in extras
Garcia (2-1) allowed one run (zero earned) on two hits while striking out one in the 10th inning, earning the win over the Giants on Saturday.
After getting the save Friday, Garcia entered the game tied in the 10th inning. He allowed only the leadoff runner on second base to score. He received the win after the Marlins walked it off in the bottom of the inning. After taking the loss Opening Day, the 30-year-old has been perfect by firing 8.1 scoreless innings en route to three saves and two wins.

Padres' Matt Strahm: Shifts to 60-day IL
Strahm (knee) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Saturday.

Wander Suero RP | ATH
Nationals' Wander Suero: Dealing with side injury
Suero is undergoing an MRI on his left side after exiting Saturday's game against Arizona, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
The 29-year-old issued a walk and delivered two pitches to another batter before being removed from Saturday's contest with the injury. Suero should be considered day-to-day until the team announces the results of the MRI.

Kenley Jansen RP | DET
Dodgers' Kenley Jansen: Unavailable Saturday
Manager Dave Roberts said Jansen is unavailable to pitch Saturday at San Diego, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
The 33-year-old threw 26 pitches and allowed one run on one hit and one walk with two strikeouts over 1.1 innings Friday in a non-save situation, so he won't be available for Saturday's contest. Corey Knebel has two saves and three holds through seven appearances this season and is the likely option to fill in for Jansen as the closer.
