Tejay Antone RP | CIN
Reds' Tejay Antone: Picks up first career win
Antone (1-0) fired three scoreless innings without giving up a hit, walking two batters and striking out three to earn his first major-league win over the Dodgers on Monday.
Antone entered Monday's game in the eighth and mowed down the Dodgers' hitters without much issue. The 27-year-old has easily been the Reds' best reliever to begin this season with a 0.66 ERA and 20:6 K:BB over 13.2 innings. His fantasy appeal does present some limitations in leagues that don't count holds due to the fact that he's not a starter and isn't first in line for save opportunities. However, things could change down the road with both Amir Garrett and Lucas Sims struggling in high-leverage situations so far this year.

Kenley Jansen RP | DET
Dodgers' Kenley Jansen: Charged with loss Monday
Jansen (0-1) suffered his first loss of the season Monday against the Reds after serving up a two-run homer in the 10th inning. He also walked and struck out a batter in the outing.
Jansen entered the game to begin the 10th and was unable to keep the Reds off the scoreboard. He surrendered a two-run homer to Jesse Winker on the second pitch of the inning, and the Dodgers were unable to mount a comeback in the bottom half of the frame. The 33-year-old now owns a 2.61 ERA over 10.1 innings on the year and may not be available to pitch for a day or two after needing 24 pitches to get three outs Monday.

Will Smith RP | KC
Braves' Will Smith: Collects fifth save
Smith walked one and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Monday to record his fifth save of the season in an 8-7 win over the Cubs.
The veteran southpaw continues to battle his control and has now walked seven batters in 10 innings, but he's only given up five hits and has fanned 15, helping to limit the damage. Smith is a perfect 5-for-5 on save chances to begin the season with a 3.60 ERA.

David Bednar RP | NYY
Pirates' David Bednar: Early returns favorable
Bednar has registered a 2.35 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 8:3 K:BB in 7.2 innings.
He's kept opponents scoreless in nine of 10 outings, picking up a pair of holds. The righty's throwing his fastball hard (96.7 mph) and often (60.3 percent). Pittsburgh has developed a pecking order that typically features Kyle Crick in the eighth inning and Richard Rodriguez in the ninth, but Bednar is showing that his spring training effectiveness was no fluke. Should the team trade Crick or Rodriguez, the 26-year-old figures to get a late-inning look. He did pitch the ninth inning of Sunday's win in Minnesota in a four-run game.

Garrett Cleavinger RP | TB
Dodgers' Garrett Cleavinger: Sent down
Cleavinger was optioned to the Dodgers' alternate training site Monday.
Cleavinger was handed the loss in his first outing of the season Sunday against the Padres, surrendering one unearned run in the 11th inning. Los Angeles recalled Mitch White and activated Gavin Lux (wrist) and Dennis Santana (COVID-19) from the 10-day injured list in corresponding moves. DJ Peters was also optioned and David Price (hamstring) was placed on the IL.

Tyler Beede RP | CHC
Giants' Tyler Beede: Advances to live batting practice
Beede (elbow) threw a live batting practice session Monday, Amy Gutierrez of the Giants' official site reports.
Beede is working his way back from Tommy John surgery, a procedure he underwent back in March of last year. He appears to be progressing well in his recovery, but his placement on the 60-day injured list means he'll be ineligible to return until the last few days of May.
