  • Alex Reyes RP | LAD

Cardinals' Alex Reyes: Earns win Tuesday

Reyes (4-2) earned the win in relief Tuesday against the Marlins after tossing a scoreless inning, allowing one walk and striking out one.

Reyes entered the ninth inning with a 1-1 tie, and while his command wasn't the best -- he tossed only six of his 12 pitches for strikes -- he still got the job done. The right-hander has been one of the most successful late-inning relievers in the National League, converting all 17 of his save chances with a 0.82 ERA, but his horrendous 7.9 BB/9 has led to a 1.33 WHIP, and he won't be able to pitch around all those baserunners forever.

  • Yimi Garcia RP | TOR

Marlins' Yimi Garcia: Gives up walkoff homer

Garcia (3-5) was tagged with the loss Tuesday against the Cardinals after giving up a walkoff home run in the ninth inning. He didn't record a single out.

Garcia entered the game in the bottom of the ninth with a clear goal, which was to keep the tie and force extra innings, but he failed miserably and gave up a walkoff homer to the first batter he faced -- Paul Goldschmidt. Garcia ended a streak of four scoreless outings in this one, but his role as the Marlins closer shouldn't be at risk going forward.

  • Braves' Tucker Davidson: Heading to injured list

Davidson (forearm) will undergo an MRI and will be placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday, 680 The Fan Atlanta reports.

Davidson's initial test results following his removal from Tuesday's start against the Red Sox were apparently encouraging, but that wasn't enough to prevent a trip to the IL. The left-hander will be eligible to be activated June 26, but it's too early to know how long he'll be sidelined. He surrendered five runs on five hits and a walk while striking out four over 2.1 innings before departing Tuesday.

  • Mitch White RP | MIL

Dodgers' Mitch White: Back with Dodgers

White was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

White was demoted over the weekend but will quickly rejoin the big-league club with Cody Bellinger (hamstring) landing on the injured list. The right-hander has a 3.29 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 13:8 K:BB across 13.2 innings this season.

  • Taylor Clarke RP | ARI

Diamondbacks' Taylor Clarke: Lands on injured list

Clarke (shoulder) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a strained right teres major muscle.

The 28-year-old allowed a hit and recorded a strikeout over a scoreless frame Monday against the Giants, and he apparently suffered a shoulder injury during the contest. Clarke will be eligible to be activated June 25, though it's unclear whether he's expected to face a longer absence.

  • Braves' Tucker Davidson: Exits with forearm tightness

Davidson was removed from Tuesday's start against the Red Sox after 2.1 innings due to left forearm tightness.

The young southpaw surrendered five runs on five hits with four strikeouts and a walk before being pulled during the third inning, when he appeared to show a drop in velocity, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com. Davidson's status for his next turn through the rotation is now in question, as the severity of the injury is unclear at this time.

  • Kenley Jansen RP | DET

Dodgers' Kenley Jansen: Likely unavailable Tuesday

Manager Dave Roberts said Jansen is likely unavailable for Tuesday's game against the Phillies after the right-hander recorded one-inning saves Sunday and Monday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Roberts didn't definitively say that the right-hander wouldn't pitch Tuesday, but it sounds like the skipper will do everything he can to stay away from using the veteran closer for a third consecutive day. With Blake Treinen also having pitched in the last two games, Joe Kelly could receive a save chance should the opportunity arise.

  • Adbert Alzolay RP | NYM

Cubs' Adbert Alzolay: Throws bullpen Monday

Alzolay (finger) threw a bullpen Tuesday and may be ready for activation after one more session, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Pitching coach Tommy Hottovy said he wants to see how Alzolay's recovering finger blister reacts under "game-mode" conditions. While Alzolay is eligible for activation from the injured list Friday, Zach Davies is scheduled to start that day and Jake Arrieta the next, so Sunday seems to be a likely target for his return.

  • Angel Perdomo RP | LAA

Brewers' Angel Perdomo: Beginning rehab Thursday

Perdomo (back) will join Triple-A Nashville on Thursday to begin his rehab assignment, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

The lefty reliever has been sidelined since May 30 with a strained back, but he appears close to being activated, assuming the rehab goes smoothly. Perdomo struggled before the injury, posting a 7.11 ERA in 12.2 innings with the Brewers. He allowed three homers and walked 12 batters, so he'll certainly need to clean up those numbers if he's to stay with the big-league club for the rest of the season.

  • Angel Rondon RP | SF

Cardinals' Angel Rondon: Optioned to Triple-A

The Cardinals optioned Rondon to Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday.

The move was to make space for Kwang Hyun Kim (back), whom the Cardinals activated from the injured list Tuesday. Rondon delivered two scoreless relief appearances after being recalled June 5, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him return to the big-league club in the future for valuable bullpen depth.
