Hader allowed two walks in a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save Wednesday versus the Phillies.
The 27-year-old was able to work around a season-high two walks and secure his 30th save of the year. It was his first appearance in a week, which may explain the control issues. He has been exceptional since the beginning of August, pitching 11.1 scoreless innings while collecting 19 strikeouts and converting nine saves.
