Yennsy Diaz RP | NYM
Mets' Yennsy Diaz: Dropped from active roster
The Mets optioned Diaz to Triple-A Syracuse on Sunday.
Diaz's stay with the big club lasted just one day after the Mets recalled him from Syracuse on Saturday to serve as their 27th man for a doubleheader with Washington. He appeared in the second game of the twin bill, tossing 2.1 scoreless innings out of the bullpen.

Bryse Wilson RP | MIL
Braves' Bryse Wilson: Called up for start
Atlanta recalled Wilson from Triple-A Gwinnett ahead of his scheduled start Sunday in the first game of the team's doubleheader with the Cardinals.
Wilson is expected to step in as Atlanta's fifth starter for the time being after rookie Tucker Davidson (forearm) recently joined Huascar Ynoa (hand) and Mike Soroka (Achilles) on the injured list. Over his previous five starts with the big club this season, Wilson has posted a 4.38 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 15:7 K:BB across 24.2 innings.

Tyler Kinley RP | ATL
Rockies' Tyler Kinley: Blows save, takes loss
Kinley (1-1) allowed two runs on two hits and a walk in one inning, taking the loss versus Milwaukee on Saturday.
Kinley was called on to protect a one-run lead in the ninth inning, but he allowed a two-run home run to Willy Adames. That resulted in Kinley's second blown save in 29 outings this year. He's posted a 4.75 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 28:17 K:BB across 30.1 innings as a low-leverage relief option.

Trevor Richards RP | CHW
Brewers' Trevor Richards: Collects second win
Richards (2-0) allowed a hit and two walks and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the win Saturday over Colorado.
Richards kept Milwaukee within a run despite the shaky eighth inning, and Willy Adames' two-run shot in the ninth put the right-hander in line for the win. Richards has been strong in June with no runs allowed in nine innings. For the year, he has a 3.51 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 32:8 K:BB across 25.2 innings, mainly in a middle-relief role.

Josh Hader RP | HOU
Brewers' Josh Hader: Locks down 18th save
Hader allowed a walk and struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Saturday's 6-5 win over Colorado.
Hader's scoreless streak was extended to 14 innings Saturday. In that span, he's allowed four hits and four walks while striking out 22, and he's picked up nine saves. The hard-throwing southpaw has a 0.61 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 50:11 K:BB across 29.2 innings this year. He's a perfect 18-for-18 in save chances and he's added three wins as one of the most dominant closers in baseball.

Conner Menez RP | CHC
Giants' Conner Menez: Hit hard Saturday
Menez gave up five runs on six hits and two walks with one strikeout in two relief innings in Saturday's 13-6 loss to Philadelphia.
Menez opened his season with six scoreless outings spanning 11 innings. In his last two appearances, he's given up 10 runs (six earned) on 11 hits and two walks across three innings. The 26-year-old has a 3.86 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 15:3 K:BB in 14 innings overall. He's likely to remain in a low-leverage role, although he's picked up a win and two holds this season.
-
Jarlin Garcia RP | PIT
Giants' Jarlin Garcia: Dealt loss Saturday
Garcia (0-2) allowed two runs on two hits and struck out one in one-third of an inning, taking the loss versus Philadelphia on Saturday.
The 28-year-old gave up the go-ahead home run to Ronald Torreyes in the sixth inning, and Zack Littell allowed an inherited runner to score after Garcia exited the game. Entering Saturday, Garcia hadn't given up a run in his last 11 innings. He has a 3.80 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB across 23.2 innings this season. Despite the solid work, the southpaw is unlikely to see anything more than low-leverage work.

Mark Melancon RP | ARI
Padres' Mark Melancon: Records 20th save
Melancon allowed a hit and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 7-5 win over Cincinnati.
Melancon bounced back from a blown save Thursday with an effective outing Saturday. San Diego's closer is now 20-for-23 in save chances, although all three of his blown saves have come in his last eight outings. He's still pitched to a solid 1.80 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 26:11 K:BB across 30 innings this year.

Brad Hand RP | ATL
Nationals' Brad Hand: Notches one-out save
Hand retired the only batter he faced to record his 14th save of the season in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Mets.
With the Nats ahead 6-2 in the seventh inning, Wander Suero put a couple runners on base while getting two outs, allowing Hand to finish things off with the tying run on deck. The veteran closer hasn't blown a save since May 12, converting 11 straight with a 2.76 ERA and 16:5 K:BB through 16.1 innings over that stretch.

Robert Gsellman RP | WAS
Mets' Robert Gsellman: Stuck with loss as opener
Gsellman (0-1) took the loss in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Nationals, giving up one run on three hits over two innings. He didn't strike out or walk a batter.
Working as the opener, Gsellman tossed 13 of 22 pitches for strikes and served up a solo shot to Kyle Schwarber before giving way to Sean Reid-Foley. The Mets didn't get on the board until the seventh inning in the 6-2 loss, saddling Gsellman with the decision. The right-hander has tossed at least two innings in five of his last six appearances, and he'll continue to give the team some length in the bullpen even if his 3.71 ERA and 15:7 K:BB through 26.2 innings don't make a strong case for high-leverage work.
