Dodgers' Edwin Uceta: Returns to majors
Uceta was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Uceta was activated from the injured list July 20 and sent to Triple-A, and he'll rejoin the big-league club Saturday. The right-hander has struggled in his first taste of MLB action this year with a 8.10 ERA, 1.74 WHIP and 18:11 K:BB across 16.2 innings.

Reiss Knehr RP | SD
Padres' Reiss Knehr: Called up by Padres
Knehr was recalled from Triple-A El Paso on Saturday.
With Chris Paddack (oblique) hitting the injured list in a corresponding move, it's possible Knehr steps in to take his place in the rotation Sunday against the Rockies. He'd be on slightly more than normal rest, as he tossed six innings for Triple-A El Paso on Monday.

Garrett Cleavinger RP | TB
Dodgers' Garrett Cleavinger: Back with Dodgers
Cleavinger was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
The 27-year-old was sent to Triple-A on July 23, but he'll return to the majors after a week with Tony Gonsolin (shoulder) landing on the injured list. Cleavinger has a 2.12 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 20:10 K:BB across 17 big-league innings this season.

Justin Topa RP | MIN
Brewers' Justin Topa: Rehab progresses to Triple-A
Topa (elbow) has been transferred to Triple-A Nashville to continue his rehab assignment.
The Brewers announced last weekend that Topa is still several weeks away from his return, but he continues to make good progress in his rehab. The right-hander's promotion to Triple-A represents the final step in his rehab process, but he'll likely require several appearances before he's cleared to return to the majors.

Anthony Banda RP | MIN
Mets' Anthony Banda: DFA'd by Mets
Banda was designated for assignment by the Mets on Saturday, Deesha Thosar of the New York Daily News reports.
Banda was promoted to the majors in mid-July after being acquired from the Giants at the start of the month, and he lost his spot on the 40-man roster after surrendering eight runs (six earned) on 14 hits with a 7:1 K:BB across 7.1 innings. The left-hander could report to Triple-A Syracuse if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

Jake Cousins RP | LAD
Brewers' Jake Cousins: Tests positive for COVID-19
Cousins was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Saturday.
Per Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, Cousins has tested positive for the virus himself. That indicates he'll miss more than just a day or two, though exactly when he'll return is unclear.

Daniel Ponce de Leon RP | WAS
Cardinals' Daniel Ponce de Leon: Throwing side session
Ponce de Leon (shoulder) will throw a side session Saturday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Ponce de Leon recently made three rehab starts at Triple-A Memphis, and he built up to three innings during his most recent appearance. Based on how he feels after Saturday's throwing session, the Cardinals will determine whether the right-hander will resume his rehab assignment or throw an additional live BP prior to rejoining the major-league club. However, Ponce de Leon is expected to remain on the injured list until at least next weekend.

Matt Moore RP | BOS
Phillies' Matt Moore: Relegated to bullpen
Moore will be a reliever for the Phillies going forward, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
The veteran had pitched fairly well before allowing six runs in his last two starts, which ballooned his ERA to 6.46 in 46 innings this season. Given his struggles, Moore doesn't figure to get any high-leverage opportunities out of the bullpen. Ranger Suarez will serve as Moore's replacement in the starting rotation.

Mitch White RP | MIL
Dodgers' Mitch White: Starting against Arizona
White will get the start Saturday against the Diamondbacks, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
White has plenty of starting experience in his career and has reached four innings in a major-league appearance and five in the minors this season, but he might not be asked to pitch too deep into this contest after throwing two innings against the Giants on Wednesday. White owns a 3.54 ERA in 20.1 innings at the highest level this season.

Bryse Wilson RP | CHC
Pirates' Bryse Wilson: Activated by Pirates
Wilson was activated by the Pirates on Saturday, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Wilson was dealt from Atlanta to Pittsburgh on Friday as part of the package for Richard Rodriguez, and he'll claim a major-league roster spot. The 23-year-old served as a starter in each of his eight big-league appearances with Atlanta this year and posted a 5.88 ERA and 1.69 WHIP in 33.2 innings. The Pirates haven't specified how they'll use Wilson, but he could be utilized as a long reliever for now.
