Camilo Doval RP | NYY
Giants' Camilo Doval: Blows save in extras
Doval was charged with the blown save during Tuesday's 7-4 win against the Giants after giving up an unearned run on a hit over two-thirds of an inning. He had one strikeout and did not walk a batter.
The 24-year-old pitched Tuesday for the third straight day and picked up his second blown save of the season, though it was a tough draw as all it took to score the designated runner from second base was a two-out single. Doval is 8-for-10 in save chances and has a 3.15 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 25:9 K:BB through 20 innings this year.

Jake Junis RP | TEX
Giants' Jakob Junis: Gives up one run in no-decision
Junis didn't factor in the decision during Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Phillies after allowing one run on three hits across 4.1 innings. He had three strikeouts and two walks.
The right-hander threw 40 of his 64 pitches for strikes but generated only five swinging strikes, and he was lifted after giving up a one-out single during the fifth inning. It's the first time this season Junis has failed to complete at least five innings, though it had less to do with his performance than the quick hook of manager Gabe Kapler. Regardless, it was another solid outing for the 29-year-old, and he'll carry a 2.68 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 27:7 K:BB into his next appearance.

Wil Crowe RP | PIT
Pirates' Wil Crowe: Grabs second save
Crowe pitched a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Dodgers.
David Bednar was called upon to cover two innings Monday, so he wasn't available Tuesday. Crowe was able to deliver his second save of the season, retiring Kevin Pillar and Mookie Betts on flyouts before ending the game with a Freddie Freeman groundout. Crowe has filled a versatile role in the bullpen this year, though his previous save was of the three-inning variety against the Cubs on April 13. He's at a 2.35 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 30:13 K:BB with a 2-2 record, three holds and two blown saves across 30.2 innings in 20 appearances.

This was Jansen's third blown save of the year, putting him at 12-for-15 in save chances across 21 outings. He's added a 3.74 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 30:8 K:BB across 21.2 innings, and he remains firmly entrenched as the closer.

Mark Melancon RP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Mark Melancon: Snags first win
Melancon (1-5) allowed an unearned run on two hits and struck out one in one inning, earning the extra-inning win over Atlanta on Tuesday.
Melancon gave up an RBI single to Austin Riley in the top of the 10th inning, but Arizona responded with a pair of runs in their half of the frame to walk it off. This was Melancon's first win of the year, which has been a bit rocky for the 37-year-old reliever. He has a 6.23 ERA, 1.73 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB across 17.1 innings. Despite the poor ratios, he's 10-for-11 in save chances in 2022.

Tony Santillan RP | CIN
Reds' Tony Santillan: Survives for fourth save
Santillan got the save Tuesday after he pitched one inning, giving up one run on three hits while striking out two in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Red Sox.
Santillan was called on in the bottom of the ninth inning to protect a 2-0 lead, but he quickly ran into trouble. He allowed three hits including a two-out RBI single to Alex Verdugo, but he was able to get Trevor Story swinging to end the contest. The save was the 25-year-old's fourth of the season in five opportunities and he also has four holds. The earned run was his first given up in his last six appearances, and he's earned two three saves and two holds over that stretch. Santillan now owns 4.67 ERA and 1.56 WHIP with 20 strikeouts in 17.1 frames spanning 17 appearances this year.

Gallegos entered the game in the eighth inning with the Cardinals leading 2-0. Trent Grisham took him deep for a two-run blast to even the score. It was the third blown save of the season for the veteran and, while he's received the vast majority of save opportunities for St. Louis, he last closed a game May 20.
