Sean Manaea RP | NYM
Padres' Sean Manaea: Defeats Arizona
Manaea (5-4) earned the win Saturday versus the Diamondbacks. He allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks with three strikeouts in six innings.
Manaea gave up five extra-base hits, including an RBI triple to Buddy Kennedy in the fourth inning and a two-run home run to Carson Kelly in the fifth. Despite the hard contact, Manaea limited the damage well and earned his fourth quality start in his last five outings. He heads into the All-Star break with a win in consecutive starts for the first time this year. The southpaw owns a 4.11 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 100:38 K:BB across 100.2 innings in 17 games.

John Brebbia RP | COL
Giants' John Brebbia: Snags win Saturday
Brebbia (5-1) walked one and struck out one in two-thirds of an inning to earn the win Saturday over the Brewers.
After Alex Cobb gave up a run on a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning, Brebbia entered the contest. He walked Jonathan Davis -- who then stole second -- and struck out Christian Yelich before Davis was caught trying to steal third. The Giants went ahead in the bottom of the eighth to put Brebbia in line for the win, which was closed out by Dominic Leone. Through eight innings in July, Brebbia has given up six hits and four walks but only one run. The right-hander has a steady 2.45 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 36:12 K:BB with eight holds through 40.1 innings.

Dominic Leone RP | CHW
Giants' Dominic Leone: Converts second save
Leone allowed a hit and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Brewers.
Leone navigated the ninth inning on 11 pitches (eight strikes) to pick up his second save of the year. It was an interesting choice from manager Gabe Kapler -- Camilo Doval didn't pitch Friday, but he's struggled lately. Leone has now pitched three consecutive scoreless innings since a four-run blow-up July 5 versus the Diamondbacks. He could be in line to become the primary setup man or even challenge for the closer role, as Jake McGee was designated for assignment last Saturday and Tyler Rogers has moved into a middle-relief role. Leone has a sharp 3.31 ERA, but his 1.44 WHIP and 35:12 K:BB in 32.2 innings don't scream the stuff of elite closer, though he's also picked up 10 holds and posted a 3-1 record.

Edwin Diaz RP | LAD
Mets' Edwin Diaz: Closes out first game Saturday
Diaz picked up the save in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cubs. He threw a perfect frame and struck out two on 10 pitches.
Diaz is on an otherworldly run. He's recorded multiple strikeouts in each of his last nine appearances, with a total of two hits allowed in that span. The right-hander is now up to an even 20 saves this season, and he is an All-Star for the second time in his career.

Kenley Jansen RP | DET
Braves' Kenley Jansen: Notches 22nd save
Jansen logged the save during Saturday's 6-3 win against the Nationals, submitting a perfect ninth inning on 10 pitches.
Jansen entered in the ninth inning to protect a three-run lead and made quick work of the heart of Washington's lineup en route to his 22nd save. In three appearances since returning from the IL, the 34-year-old has surrendered one run in three innings and possesses a 3.53 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 49 strikeouts in 35.2 innings overall.

Mauricio Llovera RP | SEA
Giants' Mauricio Llovera: Placed on injured list
Llovera was placed on the 15-day injured list with a Grade 2 right flexor strain Saturday.
Llovera exited Friday's win over the Brewers after throwing 1.2 relief innings, and he'll be forced to miss at least two weeks after being diagnosed with a Grade 2 strain. A timetable for the right-hander's return isn't yet clear, but he isn't eligible to be activated until at least the end of July.

Jake Junis RP | TEX
Giants' Jakob Junis: Back and available in relief
Junis (hamstring) was activated off the injured list Saturday and is expected to pitch out of the bullpen, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Junis should be able to reclaim his rotation role after the break, but the Giants don't need a starter in either of the final two games of the first half, so he'll pitch in relief for now. He's available for up to 60 pitches in support of Alex Cobb on Saturday against the Brewers. Prior to hitting the injured list with a hamstring strain in mid-June, Junis had recorded a 2.63 ERA in seven starts and two relief appearances.

Chad Smith RP | NYM
Rockies' Chad Smith: Sent back to Triple-A
Smith was optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on Saturday.
Smith was recalled when Carlos Estevez landed on the paternity list Friday, but he'll return to the minors one day later with Estevez already back with the team. Smith didn't draw into Friday's game versus the Pirates during his most recent stint in the majors.

Carlos Estevez RP | KC
Rockies' Carlos Estevez: Back from paternity leave
Estevez was activated off the paternity list Saturday.
Players may spend between one and three days on the paternity list. Estevez wound up spending the minimum amount, having only just left the team Friday. Chad Smith was optioned to clear space for his return.

Jimmy Yacabonis RP | NYM
Marlins' Jimmy Yacabonis: Lands on injured list
Yacabonis was placed on the 15-day injured list with a left groin strain Saturday, retroactive to July 13, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
Yacabonis hasn't been particularly sharp recently, and he gave up six runs (five earned) in two innings over his last two appearances. The right-hander will be unavailable until nearly the end of July due to his injury, while his placement on the IL clears space on the active roster for Max Meyer, whose contract was selected Saturday.
