Fairbanks picked up the save Sunday against Seattle, striking out three over a perfect inning.

Fairbanks closed the door on a 6-3 Tampa Bay win, striking out the side in the ninth to earn his 22nd save. It's been an impressive stretch for the 29-year-old Fairbanks -- he's converted his last four save opportunities over five scoreless appearances (4.2 innings) while adding 11 strikeouts in that span. His ERA is down to 2.29 on the season with a 0.97 WHIP and 57:16 K:BB across 39.1 innings.

Rodriguez (shoulder) began a rehab assignment with Single-A Inland Empire on Sunday, striking out two while yielding two runs on three hits and no walks.

The appearance was Rodriguez's first at any level since 2021. The 25-year-old underwent surgery in November 2021 to repair a torn shoulder capsule and had been expected to be fully healthy early in the 2023 season, but he suffered a setback in the spring that pushed back his timeline for a return. Rodriguez will require several more rehab appearances in the minors before potentially emerging as an option to return from the 60-day injured list to join the Anaheim bullpen in the final couple weeks of the season.

Romano got the save in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Royals, pitching a scoreless ninth while allowing two hits and a walk. He struck out two.

Romano found himself with the bases loaded and just one out but was able to escape the trouble by striking out Nelson Velazquez and getting Maikel Garcia to fly out to end the game. He's now allowed at least one baserunner in each of his last three outings but has still picked up two saves and a win during that span. The 30-year-old has put together another remarkable campaign. He sits at fourth in baseball with 34 saves and owns a sparkling 2.60 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 64:22 K:BB in 52 innings.

Johnson (elbow) was promoted from High-A Aberdeen to Double-A Bowie on Sunday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Johnson missed most of this season while rehabbing from Tommy John surgery. He's allowed four runs and posted a 10:3 K:BB over 7.1 innings across the lowest three levels of the minors. With Aberdeen's season coming to an end, Johnson will get a few more appearances at Bowie to wrap up the campaign.

Lange pitched a clean ninth inning with two strikeouts to record the save in Sunday's 3-2 win over the White Sox.

For the second day in a row, Lange shut down Chicago in short order to record a save. The righty now has 23 saves this season, with four of them coming this month. Lange hit a rough patch when he struggled with control earlier this year, but he has seemingly righted the ship, and he could be poised for a strong finish to the season given his recent form.

Estevez struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Guardians.

Estevez became the 10th member of the 30-save club this season, and he's done it in just 33 save opportunities. Aside from a blown save Tuesday versus the Orioles, he's been sharp lately -- he's allowed two runs, five hits and a walk while striking out nine over his last eight innings. For the season, he has a 3.41 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 71:28 K:BB through 58 innings as the Angels' primary closer. All three of his blown saves have come since the start of August, but he's also converted seven saves in that span for a team that's faded in the second half.

Rosenberg (1-1) allowed one run on six hits and a walk while striking out four over five innings to earn the win over the Guardians on Sunday.

Rosenberg limited the damage to a Kole Calhoun solo shot in the second inning. Over his last two outings, both starts, Rosenberg has allowed four runs across 11 innings with an 8:3 K:BB. He's at a 4.50 ERA, 1.78 WHIP and 15:10 K:BB through 18 innings across four appearances overall. The 28-year-old southpaw is tentatively lined up for a home start versus the Tigers next weekend.

Ingram was optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Ingram was called up by the Halos on Sept. 1 and allowed one run over two innings during his brief time with the big club. He'll now return to Salt Lake, where he's posted a 3.49 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 31:11 K:BB across 28.1 frames.

Joyce (elbow) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list Sunday.

The right-hander has been sidelined since early June by an elbow injury, and he's been cleared to rejoin the Halos after a two-game rehab assignment with Single-A Inland Empire. Joyce is one of the organization's top prospects and allowed two earned runs with a 5:4 K:BB over four frames in his first taste of the big leagues before going down with the injury.

Munoz said he's been battling some minor left hip tightness but threw without issue ahead of Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Munoz will probably be unavailable for the Mariners' series finale against the Rays on Sunday at Tropicana Field, but there doesn't seem to be much concern that this is going to become a long-term issue. Matt Brash is the best bet for fill-in closer duties, though Munoz could be right back in action Monday versus the Angels.
