Cody Sedlock RP | BAL
Orioles' Cody Sedlock: Lands on disabled list
Sedlock is headed to the 7-day DL with a right elbow flexor strain, retroactive to June 29, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
Sedlock is looking at about a month out of the rotation due to the elbow injury, but could miss even more time, depending on the reevaluation. In his first exposure to the High-A level with Frederick this season, Sedlock has made 13 starts (59 innings) and has posted a 6.86 ERA with a 1.76 WHIP.

Collin McHugh RP | ATL
Astros' Collin McHugh: Next rehab start scheduled for Wednesday
McHugh (elbow) will make his second rehab appearance Wednesday for Double-A Corpus Christi, MLB.com's Christian Boutwell reports.
McHugh felt "no pain" after his initial outing, which is exactly what the Astros wanted to hear after his rough return to the mound. The right-hander gave up four earned runs off seven hits and one walk without recording a strikeout, but it isn't shocking that McHugh would be a little rusty after all his time off. He said that everything was perfectly normal and that he will likely throw over 50 pitches Wednesday after tossing 42 during Friday's start.

Matt Strahm RP | KC
Royals' Matt Strahm: Exits with knee injury
Strahm left Saturday's game with left knee inflammation, MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan reports.
Strahm came out of the game in the middle of the inning and will be considered day-to-day moving forward. The 25-year-old has been getting knocked around recently on the mound, but has pitched in 23 games for the Royals this season and provides a normally reliable option for the team out of the bullpen.

Matt Strahm RP | KC
Royals' Matt Strahm: Leaves Saturday's contest
Strahm (undisclosed) left Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader with an apparent injury, MLB.com's Jeffrey Flanagan reports.
After being bumped from the rotation, Strahm entered Saturday's afternoon game out of the bullpen for the first time since June 9, but left in the top of the fourth inning after recording three outs. There will be more information in the coming hours about Strahm's injury once the team announces his status.

Max Povse RP | SEA
Mariners' Max Povse: Solid multi-inning stint in blowout win
Povse fired two scoreless innings in Friday's 10-0 win over the Angels, allowing three hits and a walk while recording a strikeout.
The promising rookie bounced back from a rough introduction to the big leagues at the hands of the Tigers on June 22 in which he was touched up for three earned runs on four hits in less than an inning. Friday's two-inning stint was representative of the type of role that the Mariners currently envision for Povse in their bullpen, as he carries the capacity for long-relief work after extensive starting experience in the minors.

Jose Leclerc RP | SD
Rangers' Jose Leclerc: Could be short-term closing option
Leclerc could be an option to get saves for the Rangers in the short term, following Matt Bush's removal from the closer role Saturday, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.
Bush suffered his fifth blown save of the season Friday, prompting his removal from the ninth-inning role. Keone Kela, who is nursing a sore shoulder, is the presumed favorite to take over as the closer once fully healthy, but Leclerc and Alex Claudio should see some save opportunities while Kela is unavailable. The 23-year-old righty has a 2.74 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 38.5 percent strikeout rate this season, but he has also walked 13 batters in 23 innings.

Ryan Pressly RP | CHC
Twins' Ryan Pressly: Called up Saturday
Pressly was promoted to Minnesota prior to its doubleheader against the Royals on Saturday, Mike Berardino of the Pioneer Press reports.
Pressly is bound for another appearance with the Twins, as the 28-year-old makes yet another trip to the big leagues this season. In 22 innings of work at the major-league level, Pressly holds an ERA of 8.18 despite a decent 26:8 K:BB. Besides a few poor outings, Pressly has held his own, which is why the Twins are calling on his relief capabilities for extra bullpen depth before their doubleheader.

Brad Boxberger RP | CHC
Rays' Brad Boxberger: Dominant in first outing of 2017
Boxberger excelled in his 2017 debut, striking out the side in his only inning of work in Friday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the Orioles.
The veteran reliever couldn't have dialed up a better performance for his first appearance of 2017, firing 10 of his 13 pitches for strikes while mowing down Ruben Tejeda, Joey Rickard and Seth Smith. If Boxberger can provide something close to this caliber of effort on a regular basis, it will naturally go a long way toward stabilizing what has at times been a shaky seventh-and-eighth-inning bullpen situation for the Rays. Furthermore, it certainly isn't out of the realm of possibility for the former closer to see some save chances on days when Alex Colome is unavailable.

Robby Scott RP | BOS
Red Sox's Robby Scott: Pitching well in limited role
Scott has a 2.41 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with 15 strikeouts across 18.2 innings this season.
The left-hander is holding left-handed hitters to a .097/.216/.194 slash line and is being used primarily as a matchup lefty. Scott has performed well this season, but he has pitched a full inning or more in only nine of his 32 appearances and has a 7.2 K/9, severely hampering his fantasy value in all but the deepest leagues.

Matt Strahm RP | KC
Royals' Matt Strahm: Moves back to bullpen
Strahm was bumped from the rotation and will return to the bullpen instead of starting Sunday, FOX Sports KC reports.
The right-hander has struggled over his brief time in the rotation, posting a 7.71 ERA while being tagged for a .320 BAA over 11.2 innings (three starts). If there's any good news here, it's that the Royals are committed to keeping Strahm around to develop at the big-league level. His long-term role as an MLB starter or reliever appears up for debate at this point, although the club would certainly prefer the former.
