Garcia is heading to the Yankees' complex in Tampa and won't be called up to the majors for now, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

Garcia has been seen as a candidate for a September callup as a result of his rapid ascension through the minors this season. However, the 20-year-old struggled mightily in his final appearance for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, issuing four walks and allowing five runs in one inning. In addition, the Yankees are expected to get Luis Severino (lat), Jordan Montgomery (shoulder), Ben Heller (forearm) and Dellin Betances (lat) back to bolster the pitching staff before the end of the season, making Garcia's promotion less urgent. Nonetheless, by working out in Tampa, Garcia will be able to stay in shape in case the team decides to call him up at some point in September. Manager Aaron Boone has not ruled out such a move, per Bryan Hoch of MLB.com.

Pressly (knee) was scheduled to complete a bullpen session Sunday, David Barron of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Assuming Pressly's right knee responded well to the activity, he'll be in line for at least one or two more bullpen sessions before he advances to facing hitters. Manager AJ Hinch said Sunday that Pressly would likely come off the 10-day injured list "sooner rather than later," suggesting that the right-handed reliever remains on pace to pitch for the big club before the regular season ends.

Carasiti was designated for assignment Sunday and was outrighted to Triple-A Tacoma after clearing waivers, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Carasiti hasn't seen major-league action since mid-July, and he looks like he won't make his way back to the majors despite September's roster expansion. The 28-year-old signed with the Mariners in June after being let go by the Cubs and had a 4.96 ERA, 1.59 WHIP and 17:7 K:BB over 16.1 innings with Tacoma.

Blach is scheduled to start Tuesday's game against the Dodgers, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Blach will face a familiar foe in the Dodgers after spending the first few seasons of his career with the Giants. The 28-year-old has struggled with a 10.95 ERA, 2.15 WHIP and 17:16 K:BB this season but pitched well in his last start with two runs allowed over five innings.

Barria will work behind an opener Sunday against the White Sox.

The 23-year-old was originally expected to work as a traditional starter, but he'll instead follow opener Noe Ramirez. Barria has a 6.27 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 64:22 K:BB through 66 innings this season.

Anderson (3-0) was credited with the win in a victory over the Blue Jays on Saturday, firing a scoreless eighth inning during which he allowed a hit and recorded a strikeout.

Anderson continues to mow through the opposition at a highly efficient clip, with Saturday's 17-pitch effort the latest evidence of such. The right-hander got 14 of those offerings into the strike zone while serving as the setup man behind Oliver Drake, who subsequently recorded his second save. The 29-year-old Anderson has three consecutive scoreless outings and has already amassed five holds along with his three victories since his trade-deadline acquisition from the Marlins.

Lakins struck out three over two scoreless innings to open Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Yankees.

The Red Sox are getting by with three healthy starters and large bullpen cast for the final month of the season. As such, there may be several multi-inning opportunities for Lakins over the final weeks of the season, although his pedestrian strikeout numbers (6.8 K/9) do not suggest much in terms of fantasy value.

Garcia pitched one inning for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, giving up five runs on two hits and four walks.

Garcia tossed only 13 of 33 pitches for strikes and allowed a three-run homer in the 17-2 thrashing. The 20-year-old was moved to the bullpen late in the season in anticipation of a possible September callup to the big club, but the transition has been far from smooth as he has allowed 11 earned runs in 8.2 innings between the regular season and playoffs. Scranton/Wilkes-Barre was eliminated from the postseason with the loss, so Garcia will need to be brought up to the Yankees or sent down to Double-A Trenton if he is given the opportunity to pitch again this season.

Rogers struck out one in a perfect ninth inning to earn the save Saturday versus the Indians.

Rogers needed only 10 pitches to retire the bottom of Cleveland's order. The left-hander has converted 25 of 31 save chances with a 2.45 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 80:10 K:BB through 62.1 innings.

Robles struck out one in a perfect ninth inning against the White Sox on Saturday en route to his 20th save of the season.

Tasked with protecting a one-run lead, Robles retired Yolmer Sanchez, Ryan Goins and Tim Anderson in order on 17 pitches. The saves have been few and far between lately -- this was just his fourth save in the last six weeks -- but Robles has pitched brilliantly when given the opportunity. He would seem to have locked down the closer job for 2020.
