Curtiss signed a minor-league deal with the Rays on Monday which includes an invitation to big-league camp, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Curtiss has thrown 17.1 career big-league innings, struggling to a 6.75 ERA. He spent most of 2019 in Triple-A in the Angels' and Phillies' systems, posting an unimpressive 7.75 ERA and a 1.84 WHIP in 33.2 innings.

Covey signed a minor-league contract with the Rays on Monday as a non-roster invitee, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Covey posted a 2.82 ERA with a 1.33 WHIP over 51 innings with Triple-A Charlotte in 2019, but he struggled in the majors as he dealt with a shoulder injury, and he was designated for assignment by the White Sox in January. The right-hander will get the chance to work with the Rays' major-league coaching staff during spring training, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him appear in the majors at some point in 2020 if he can show consistent results in the minors.

Lakins was claimed off waivers by the Orioles on Friday.

Lakins joins his third team of the offseason, having opened it with the Red Sox and having been traded to the Cubs for cash earlier in January. Lakins threw 23.1 innings in his debut for Boston last season, posting a 3.86 ERA but a modest 17.7 percent strike rate. His path to playing time in Baltimore will be considerably easier than it was in Boston or Chicago.

Law signed a minor-league contract with the Rangers on Thursday, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. The contract includes an invitation to spring training.

Law is headed south after being non-tendered by the Blue Jays in December. Across 58 appearances with Toronto in 2019, the righty posted a 4.90 ERA, 1.66 WHIP and 67:40 K:BB in 60.2 innings. He'll compete for one of the Rangers' final bullpen spots during spring camp.

Reyes was designated for assignment by the Red Sox on Tuesday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Reyes spent the 2019 campaign at Double-A Portland and posted a 4.16 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 116:37 K:BB over 151.1 innings (26 starts). The 23-year-old could still make his way to Triple-A in 2020 if he can show some early season improvements, assuming he clears waivers and remains with the Red Sox.

Krehbiel agreed to a minor-league contract with the Twins on Tuesday.

Krehbiel has three big-league innings under his belt, all with Arizona in the 2018 season. He spent all of 2019 at Triple-A Reno, struggling to a 7.69 ERA in 64.1 innings.

Lawrence signed a minor-league deal with the Twins on Tuesday.

Lawrence has thrown 78.2 big-league innings, struggling to a 6.64 ERA. He spent 2019 with the Hiroshima Carp of the NPB, posting an unremarkable 4.80 ERA over 110.2 innings.

Adams returned to the Twins as a non-roster invitee Tuesday.

Adams struggled in his 16.2 innings for the Tigers last season, recording a 7.02 ERA and 13 walks. Prior to being claimed off waivers by Detroit in May, the 33-year-old pitched 18 innings for Triple-A Rochester within the Twins' organization, posting a more modest 4.50 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and a 28:6 K:BB. The veteran right-hander will have an opportunity to impress the big-league coaching staff this spring, but he will likely return to the minors given the amount of experienced arms that make up the Minnesota bullpen.

Lowther will join the Orioles for big-league camp this spring, Jon Meoli of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Lowther pitched well in his third minor-league season, making 26 starts for Double-A Bowie and recording a 2.25 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 26 percent strikeout rate. The 23-year-old southpaw will have the opportunity to work with the big-league coaching staff this spring before likely joining Triple-A Norfolk's starting rotation alongside fellow quality pitching prospects Dean Kremer, Alex Wells and Michael Baumann.

Honeywell (elbow) has resumed throwing, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Honeywell was on the cusp of the big leagues after posting a 3.64 ERA and a 29.1 percent strikeout rate in 24 starts for Triple-A Durham back in 2017. He hasn't thrown a competitive pitch since then, however, as he missed 2018 due to Tommy John surgery and missed 2019 due to nerve irritation and a fractured elbow. He was quite a highly rated prospect prior to his injuries and could certainly make a significant impact if he's able to make his big-league debut this season, but the injury problems obviously add quite a lot of risk.
