Lopez is slated to start one half of Friday's doubleheader against the Yankees, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Lopez joined the rotation last weekend, stepping in as a replacement for Wade LeBlanc (elbow). He worked 4.2 innings in a no-decision against the Blue Jays, giving up three runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three. He was limited to 63 pitches in that outing, but he should push up to 75-to-85-pitch range in his second start.

Norris tossed 2.1 innings in relief in Tuesday's 12-1 win over the Brewers, giving up a run on four hits while striking out five.

As per usual, starter Michael Fulmer was limited to three innings in his start, so Norris came on in relief to piggyback him. While he needed 61 pitches to record his seven outs, Norris overwhelmed Milwaukee's hitters, with his lone mistake coming when Christian Yelich took him deep for a solo home run. Norris has taken well to a multi-inning role out of the Detroit bullpen, posting a 1.72 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 17:1 K:BB across 15.2 innings over his last six appearances.

Weber allowed two runs on four hits and struck out two over four innings in a no-decision against the Braves on Tuesday.

Weber, who began the abbreviated season as a member of the rotation, returned to start Tuesday after poor results early on. Boston's rotation is thin, so Weber could get more starts before the end of the season. Weber has a 5.79 ERA (6.75 FIP) over 28 innings.

Chapman struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his first save of the season in a 5-3 win over the Rays.

In his fourth appearance since coming off the COVID-19 list, Chapman needed only 13 pitches (eight strikes) to shut down Tampa. He did sail a fastball over Mike Brosseau's head, re-igniting the long-simmering tensions between the teams and potentially setting the stage for a volatile series finale Wednesday, but Chapman only received a warning and shouldn't face any additional discipline.

Richards didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Yankees, allowing two runs on five hits over 4.2 innings. He struck out five.

A pair of solo shots by DJ LeMahieu accounted for all the damage off the right-hander. It was Richards' longest outing of the season so far, as he threw 64 pitches (46 strikes) before giving way to the bullpen. He now has a 4.05 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 11:5 K:BB through 13.1 innings in his three starts. He'll look to last long enough to qualify for his first win of the year in his next trip to the mound Monday, on the road against the Nationals.

Pressly was tagged with the blown save against the Rangers on Tuesday, allowing one run one two hits in one inning while striking out one.

Pressly was called upon to protect a one-run lead in the top of the ninth inning, but Elvis Andrus greeted him with a homer leading off the frame to spoil the save opportunity. After a rough start to the campaign, Pressly had converted each of his previous five save chances, so Tuesday's hiccup is unlikely to threaten his role as the team's closer.

Merryweather didn't allow a hit and had three strikeouts and one walk over two scoreless innings during Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Marlins.

The 28-year-old performed well in his second outing as an opener, delivering 21 of his 31 pitches for strikes. Merryweather has given up only two hits with a 12:3 K:BB through 7.1 shutout innings over his first four big-league appearances.

Montero picked up the save against the Astros on Tuesday, allowing one unearned run on one hit in one inning. He did not strike out or walk any batters.

Montero inherited a two-run lead in the extra-inning contest. He yielded a leadoff single to allow the designated runner on second base to score but avoided further damage by inducing a double-play groundout and a flyout. Montero is a perfect 7-for-7 in save opportunities this season while posting a 2.79 ERA over 9.2 innings.

Fulmer allowed three hits and two walks while striking out six across three innings Tuesday against the Brewers. He did not factor into the decision.

It was a mixed bag from Fulmer, as he struck out a season-best six batters on the strength of 15 called strikes and seven swinging strikes on 65 total pitches. On the other hand, he walked multiple batters for the third time in his past four outings and needed 65 pitches to complete three innings. It was a step forward in results for Fulmer, though he has yet to work more than three frames in any outing this season. He's currently projected to take the mound Sunday at Minnesota.

Graveman was activated off the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

The 29-year-old landed on the injured list in early August and was eventually diagnosed with a benign bone tumor in his spine, but he never gave up hope for a return to the field this season. Graveman opened the season in the Mariners' starting rotation, but he'll shift to the bullpen since his neck apparently proved bothersome in longer outings.
